  1. Not too shabby. Here's who I'd have as the top 10: 1. Ohio State 2. Michigan 3. Florida 4. West Virginia 5. Texas 6. Tennessee 7. USC 8. "That School" 9. Auburn 10. Louisville I just really think WVU is the real deal and that they'll beat Louisville tonight, which is why they're ranked much higher than the Cardinals. Arkansas should be in; tough to narrow it down. USC is a shaky 7, as they haven't looked nearly as good as people have thought they would, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The game between USC and "That School" should be interesting, as I feel both teams aren't playing quite up to the hype they've received this year. Should be a very good game.
  2. This should be a terrific game tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing these teams go head to head. Shame they both can't go undefeated and really mess up the BCS standings.
  3. You did: San Antonio.
  4. Does he end it by singing, "death to America"?
  5. Done. I told you which games I was attending this year, Tomas. After this week, I'm only up one more time: the December 17th game against Miami. Sounds like a plan.
  6. Hey mead; sorry I missed this. Hope you had a wonderful birthday. See you this weekend?
  7. I'll be there around noon. Hope to see some of you guys there.
  8. I could live w/ that kind of strategy. Get the interior lines stronger, and the rest of the team will follow.
  9. Just about all of his money went back to his homeland to help the Sudanese. How irresponsible of him to give back to his own people.
  10. Fix lines. Get good.
  11. There will be a few of us in the Lot 1, Pole 5 area before the game. Check us out. Lot 1 is to the right of the Fieldhouse (as you're facing the front of it).
  12. Good. Hopefully, I'll catch up w/ you guys then.
  13. ESPN's only good points are Stephen A. Smith and Stuart Scott.
  14. I've always heard it was more about real estate than it was about fan support. Getting prime real estate in California, especially to construct a stadium, has always been the biggest hurdle for the NFL, and is the reason teams have such a hard time staying there.
  15. Posluszny is a very good player. He'd look nice in a Bills uni. Then again, so would Florida State's Buster Davis, who I really like @ LB. That said, I still hope we'll look to upgrade our interior lines first and foremost.
  16. Sure would, after we upgrade our interior lines.
  17. What be these turnovers of which you speak?
  18. The first thing that comes to mind is Eric Steinbach, a guard in Cincinnati who would be a great addition to our line, whether @ guard or tackle, where some insiders feel he could also be effective. Either way, it would cost a pretty penny to bring him to Buffalo, but if the cap room is there, I would make every effort to offer him a deal enticing enough to bring him aboard.
  19. And let's not forget their best WR, Terry Glenn. Then again, we do have Roscoe Parrish...
  20. Awwwwwww! It was so cute. Trust me William, if we are blessed before next season w/ a child, I won't care about missing any trips. I'll still have my seasons, because I like my seats and the people around me, but I'll just sell all of them.
  21. Hey, I'm just enjoying it while I can, especially since the boss says that if she does get pregnant soon, there will be NO trips for me next year. Small price to pay for what I want more than anything, I'd say.
  22. I may have overheard something about that from him, once or twice before.
  23. You make some valid points there. However, I believe Roethlisberger's struggles have a lot more to do w/ what he's gone through since the offseason than I do the running game. First of all, Parker is having a good season for them, so in general, the running game isn't the key factor to their losses. It does hurt them near the goal line or in short yardage situations, but they still have a capable running game overall. Secondly, it's gotta be tough to have a near fatal accident, an appendectomy, and then a concussion w/in a year's time and NOT be affected by it. Concussions are not something to be taken lightly, like a sprain or bruise. It's a brain injury w/ lasting effects. Don't believe me? Check out how guys like Al Toon and Merrill Hoge continue to suffer to this day due to concussions they had in their careers.
  24. Are you going to start/contribute to a thread w/out a reference to either Henry or the offensive line, William?
  25. This is the key point: will they? I'm hopeful, but I won't bank on it. Now, if I see them make aggressive moves in the offseason to upgrade the interior OL and interior DL, then I'd be a LOT more optimistic. Until then, I'll continue to support them (another few hundred bucks to be spent this weekend on another trip up to RICH), but I won't take for granted that anything will change.
