  1. It was a fun track. My old company always sponsored a corporate tent each year at the Kemper Open so we got to entertain clients from time to time with a round here and there. I couldn’t golf worth crap, but it was always a good time.
  2. The one and only time I had it and it was wonderful indeed. Enjoy it!
  3. Had a shot of Macallan Rare Cask at the 19th hole at TPC Avenel back in the day. Best golf shot ever!
  4. Why was Landeskog just standing there for a few moments waiting to get on the bench? Were other Avs players too slow in sliding over to make room for him? Was there a problem with the bench door? Strange.
  5. Yep. Robert Kraft is a phony son of a b**ch. Spare me the rhetoric about how his philanthropic activities prove he’s a decent guy. I don’t think there’s a decent bone in his inebriated body.
  6. Oh man. This is a SERIOUS bad look for the Bills if he goes to Seattle. A stain on McBeane and the entire “process.” Scott Law told me.
  7. As with many generic terms that have come to be known by their brand names, like Kleenex and Xerox for example, the generic term “a handy” is now and forever known as “a krafty.”
  8. If there has been one overriding theme in GoT, it’s the idea that we are captives of our own natures. That we are what we are and we usually end up serving those natures for good or ill. That’s not to say characters haven’t evolved, but that’s a different discussion. Dany, more than anyone imo, has shown dual sides to her nature; from cruelty to compassion. We’ve seen the writers deliberately portray her as suddenly so power hungry that nothing else matters, like last season when she postponed her attack on Cersei and KL to serve a greater good. Not that poetic justice means anything in the GoT universe, but it’s perfectly plausible to me that in the end she serves the greater good once again. I like your idea that her love for Jon and losing him would serve as the catalyst.
  9. Probably best for Rick Jeanneret that he not make the Sabres opening day lineup next year. The combination of his and Risto’s last names might induce a fit in the play by play booth.
  10. Nobody will “win” the throne because the throne won’t even be intact at the end.
  11. When the deal was made, the first round pick traded was specifically the one acquired from San Jose in the Kane trade. Anaheim has the option to choose the one acquired from St. Louis if it falls between 20-31, which they now do because the Blues won last night. If the Blues had lost, they would have finished with a top 19 pick and we would have been guaranteed of keeping that pick. If the Sharks lose tonight or to the Blues in the next round, Anaheim will keep the pick we acquired from San Jose. That description is weak and doesn’t do that play any kind of justice.
  12. At this point, the 1st round draft pick used to acquire Montour is tied to San Jose.
  13. Nobody suggested completed passes don’t count. And nobody is complaining. Just pointing out the more refined nuances of the term accuracy. “Casual” fans wouldn’t appreciate the distinction.
  14. Gotta disagree. Completion percentage equals catches. Accuracy equals ball placement. May seem like splitting hairs, but accurate ball placement is often the difference between receivers being able to make a play after the catch or not or preventing the defender from making a play or not.
  15. Fewer dropped passes will help his completion percentage, won’t do much for his accuracy, though.
  16. Noone will never play like him? You mean this guy:
  17. One smart thing Sansa has done? How about saving Jon Snow, Davos, Tormund and their entire army from annihilation at the Battle of the Bastards?
  18. Be that as it may (or not), the Yandle hit on Skinner deserved an escalated response in kind. It was gut check time and our character (or lack there of) was revealed for the entire league to see. Again.
  19. Playmaker is ALWAYS a position of need.
