Yeah I was really down on him after the JJ fiasco but he was solid last year. He’s putting in work. We have good DB coaches. Maybe he’ll continue to improve. Love the story of having 2 UB guys in there playing big snaps, but it’s not ideal. lol. I didn’t feel good about myself as I hit enter, but I want to win a Super Bowl.

We have 2 all pro caliber defenders- both injured. Bad luck. Why couldn’t it be Rapp, Dorian or Damar? Let’s hope Cam Lewis can keep us afloat during this tough stretch of games

I agree- Diggs is likely better than the 2nd rd pick, but it’s one year. I’d rather have a solid starter getting paid nothing for 4 years over a good starter for 1. But if they win the SB, it’s well worth it

Yeah I respect it too- it’s just a big gamble. A 2nd rd pick is a big building block and a major resource. A potential solid 4 years of starting with high potential. no- I wouldn’t want to commit to Diggs for more than a season. I just would’ve gone after someone else.

I’d be happy for sure. Diggs is going to have a fine season- as will Coleman. The big problem in making this trade for Houston- they gave up a 2nd rd pick for a one year rental. That’s kind of steep for my taste. If they don’t win the SB, it’s a failed trade imo. 💯 maybe here in Buffalo 🙏🏻

While I have predicted a monster season for Rousseau, it must be said that RT Jonah Williams was injured early on and only play 36% of the snaps on O. was good to see them move Rousseau around. Seemed like von played mostly on the left side but I could be wrong.

Rousseau is much better than Shaq plus he can rush. We also have Smoot, who’s stout and better than Shaq. Smoot was injured and will be back soon. Your op sucks

I was pissed. I’d rather give 17 the chance to win the game rather than Bass and the defense. that said, he was injured and we have no idea how injured. If they thought the injury may have had an impact, I can understand the decision a bit more. In hindsight- it was the correct move. His defense got the stop

Have you looked at their snap counts from yesterday? 81%- Ed 74- Daquan 78- GR The cards had 80 yards of offense in the 2nd half. Our DL was the main reason that happened

Ed played 81% Daquan 73% AJ 62% Von 47% A Johnson- 21% D Carter- 11% C Toohill- 11% we player our best the majority of the game. I wouldn’t play von over 50% of the snaps until the playoffs even though I think he’s better than AJ again. I agree, we need another stud to pair with GR (who’s probably going to get 22-30M). I don’t think Aj will ever be anything more than a good depth DE. I do think that Von will be adequate for this season. I trust him to make plays on 3rd down and in the 4th. He’s special in that way- just stay healthy. Eager to see what Smoot can bring to the table

Thanks Virgil! Always a enjoyable read. 5- Von Miller- when we paid Von Miller- we weren’t paying a 35 year old coming off his 2nd torn acl. We were lucky that he took a pay cut for the sake of the team. The dead cap in cutting him would’ve been much more than his salary. Keeping him at a reduced rate was the best choice. I’d never play him over 50% of the snaps, until the playoffs. I thought he looked pretty good out there. I saw at least 3 pressures and that’s without really keeping an eye on him. He smoked his guy on the final 4th down- Murray got rid of it quickly- throwing a jump ball to a 5’7 WR.

I thought we got the 💩 end of the stick early, but things evened out by the end of the game.

You are correct. As far as I know- the MLB players union said awe hell naaaaw and will likely never agree to one- hence no cap. But I could be wrong.
