The QB school - Josh Allen Week 2 analysis - JT O'Sullivan
NewEra replied to Fixxxer's topic in The Stadium Wall
so in order to conduct a coaching clinic, one must be innovative? That doesn’t compute. Putting players in position to do what they do best is a big part of it being a clinic. Not trying to be too cute (aka innovative) is also part of it being a clinic. again, I’m not completely sold yet- let’s see how he does vs a great defense. He’s faced two poor defenses with zero pass rush and terrible LBs so far. -
I think kelce, thuney, creed and smith are all better than Pacheco. He’s a good back, but he’s not this good on another team imo.

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong
NewEra replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
He played very well for over half of his first season. -
After getting into the nfl he’s been injured or coming off of injury. Von miller was awful last year. He’s not this year. Sometimes players take longer to recover from serious injury. Cine had a very serious injury. He make never be the player he was pre injury. his pff grades were 60 and 66 in his first two seasons. That’s not terrible. I didn’t watch him play so I can only go on things like pff. Perfect type player for the PS.

The QB school - Josh Allen Week 2 analysis - JT O'Sullivan

Yet they are actually getting schemed open….and not just beating their matchups. cook was wide open because of the scheme. Samuel had his man beat because of the scheme. I haven’t combed through the entire game, but I’d bet that there were several people open partly due to the scheme. I’m not completely sold on him either, but he’s been impressive (to me) vs 2 poor defenses. Just have to see it work vs the best defenses, because those are the teams we’ll be facing in the playoffs. -

Yes- my mistake -
He had an actual offensive line- not legos pretending to be an offensive line. he has no chance. Their OL is awful
-
oh I know. I believe that the only thing that would change your mind is to win a SB- but if the defense gave up a ton of points in the playoffs leading up to the SB, you might still want to get rid of him.

@HappyDays First play- O’Sullivan says- Absolutel gorgeous offensive execution and design- it’s just high level football. not football 101 - the Samuel underthrow- Brady got a LB on Samuel- clear mismatch. Should’ve been a TD. Poor throw. -
It’s best to read the post rather than skipping though it and assuming I thought cine looked great in college

Bishop is currently Damar Hamlin backup at FS. looks like the plan is Bishop and Rapp together No it’s not. Bishop was drafted to start. You don’t cripple his rookie season because he was injured and missed the entire preseason. If he’s better than Hamlin, he should start when he’s ready, regardless of what’s working. also- he mentions: what do we do when Taron comes back? Do we move cam back to dime S? Or does Ingram play that position better? Who goes to the bench. So no, you don’t keep with what’s working….Taron will play Premature analysis……to you. Per your usual negative remarks
-
I think he’s implying that Ingram replaces Cam at dime S He has been playing safety since cam moved to slot

Just get him to the playoffs healthy -
Atta boy!!! 💙

Good to hear!! Thanks for the update. I haven’t opened that thread yet.
-
Because the dead cap for cutting him was 3.5M more than his cap hit for keeping him. They like the kid. They don’t want to give up on him after 1 bad season. it wouldn’t have been hard to bring in another kicker, but you’d still have Bass as your kicker. There was no chance of replacing him.

@GoBills808 Debate something….. or give him or credit he’s due.
-
There’s also been a massive difference of the players on the field. Losing some of our best players matters? No? I don’t know for sure but averaging 3+ TDs is tough over that period of time
-
Oh I don’t know- maybe missing 3 of our 4 top Lbers and playing Aj Klein 💯 of the snaps? No benford, injured Douglas, toasted poyer and Hyde. Andy Reid, Mahomes and Kelce are all time greats. Could possibly go down as the greatest offensive threesome in nfl history and everyone on that offense was healthy. They beat most teams.
-
Yeah, maybe he should’ve rostered 12 LBers.
-
Hahaha, thanks. I saw a good amount of Rickles but not in his prime, mostly his stuff in the 80’s.

From my vantage point, this whole thing has just been in bad taste on your part. Oooh look at what I predicted….., injury. Awesome. Great job man. Here’s a cookie 🍪

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

The fact that worthy was even mentioned in his post is pathetic -
It’s not crazy. Their OL is complete trash and they’re healthy. they have no run D. Tua needs a somewhat competent OL imo. Losing Connor Williams and Robert Hunt has crushed them.
