  1. I agree 💯
  2. It’s one game in week 6. If you think we were completely lost and aren’t an SB caliber team, you’re certainly entitled. The team that played on Monday night definitely wasn’t SB caliber. I think we’ll be better. Our run game was fine, it wasn’t lost. We were missing our two best route runners (Kincaid and Palmer), they blitzed heavy and Josh wasn’t picking up where to go with the football. It was evident. I thought brady was lost on several play calls and overall philosophy. Several bad penalties had even worse timing. We were missing Bernard for most of the game (which might actually be why our d played better in the 2nd half) and no Milano. While only having 3 defensive tackles (none of which are solid 1Ts) as we lost our starting 1T in warmups. Doesn’t help that Taylor Rapp has now morphed into the worst starting safety in the league. He was never great, but he’s never been as bad as he’s been this season.
  3. That’s what I think will happen.
  4. if he plays like he did last night….. our window is likely closed. That’s what I posted. Not sure what that has to do with my post. Mahomes played like the 7-10th best QB during the regular season and has the knack of making the big play when he needs too. Whether it’s him, or his coaches. Someone steps up. Our coaches haven’t and they need to. I realize McD has been outclassed by KCs coaches every playoff loss. We don’t have Andy Reid and Spags. And we never will. We can hope McDs replacement is better than him, a good/ very good head coach. Not great imo. As I’ve said, I’m good with getting rid of him at the end of the season if the D gets taken to the woodshed in another season ending loss. I would’ve been fine with replacing him after last years loss. Just know that there’s a decent chance the guy he is replaced with isn’t as good.
  5. We definitely missed the window IF Josh continues to play like he did yesterday. Joe Marino’s all 22 vid showed several plays that left me scratching my head. I don’t think that’s going to happen
  6. I’d be on board with every move there, especially Hairston taking his lumps.
  7. I agree. It’s week 7. I don’t expect this to be the norm. I think we will have much better days once we get our heads out of our asses and cut down on the boneheaded pre snap penalties. There’s no excuse and needs to improve. What action/s need to be done in order to hold the team accountable? If winning the Super Bowl is the goal, does firing McD now and promoting Brady get us closer to the Super Bowl? I don’t think so, but the one thing that could possibly improve if he is, is the defense. That is, if Babich has a different overall philosophy and switches things up away from McDs scheme But what we’ve seen from him so far, that’s a long shot.
  8. I agree- but I also think Palmer needs to be used more. He’s not being used enough and my money was on him having a huge game last night. Injured after 6 snaps and 2 catches for 60 yards 🤦🏻‍♂️ Brady doesn’t seem to know how to utilize Keon properly. Not that he’s great or anything.
  9. If the defense gets rolled en route to a Super Bowl loss, 99% of the mcd haters will still call for his head for the record. I’m not a mcd lover. I like him and think he’s a good head coach, but I’m over his defensive scheme. I’m sure it’s partly the fault of the players, but opponents are too often finding soft spots in the zone standing there wide open. Hopefully we throw Hariston in there when he’s healthy which could allow us to play more man. Tre is hand cuffing our defensive play calls That’s it
  10. I have a high bar too. Winning the Super Bowl is my expectation. The last 2 weeks have been tough on us, bit its week 7 and Injuries have played a big role in that. I don’t think the team we saw last night will be the same team we see months from now. Will we win the Super Bowl? 🤷🏻‍♂️ The odds are against every team to win the Super Bowl. I believe we have the ability to adapt and be resilient. Chapter 2 of this season has been horrid, but history suggests that we will improve. Enough to win a SB? 🤷🏻‍♂️ but I refuse to not enjoy this journey because no one has the answer.
  11. Sucks for you more than it does for me. Cope how you need to cope. It’s all good
  12. Just checked 😂 https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/colts-qb-anthony-richardson-taken-to-hospital-with-orbital-fracture-after-eye-injury-in-pregame-warmups/ “Following the game, Colts coach Shane Steichen told reporters that Richardson suffered an orbital fracture, forcing him to spend Sunday's game in a local hospital. The injury allegedly occurred as a result of a malfunction of the elastic band he had been using. Richardson attached the band to a pole in the locker room, and the pole snapped and made forceful contact with his face” ouch!!!
  13. Bruce may have finished with 250 sacks playing DE in a 4-3.
  14. lol- is that how he got injured?
  15. Yeah I’ve noticed. Thing is, we can’t win a Super Bowl until February. So maybe calm down until December? Or be miserable (no offense, but you do seem somewhat miserable when discussing this team and the FO. From my perspective anyway). Seems like an easy choice. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  16. Wilson has had plenty of success outside.
  17. The fans that are calling for his head right now will only calm down when we win a Super Bowl.
  18. Ok my bad. If we don’t win the Super Bowl or fire McDermott half the fan base won’t be fans anymore. Got it.
  19. Half the fan base will abandon the team if we don’t fire the head coach this season?? 😂 SUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE! The answer is, you’re wrong. But If that does happen to be the case, this fan base isn’t nearly as great as we think we are. Luckily, we are that great and it’ll just be exactly what it has been for decades. A great group that has a fair share of poutsters that say they are going to abandon ship, that rarely ever do
  20. You’ve “been saying it for years”. You’ve started the thread 3 times. Yet you’re not worried about being right. 👌 Team starts off 4-0. Loses two games and then we should fire the HC week 7? So we can have Joe Brady call the plays and learn how to be a head coach at the same time? Sounds like a plan that will gut the team for the remainder of the year. But you never know….. count me as one to say we shouldn’t fire the coach during this season. After the season- possibly….but let it play out
  21. I’m not suffering. Those that are suffering should find a new past time
  22. Fire him right now? 😂 no. Fire him at the end of the season? Possibly….but it’s week 7. No way to know the answer. Everyone always worrying about “being right”. How about let the season play out and make a decision then.
  23. Neither were worth an extension imo. One is made of glass while the other was allergic to making splash plays
  24. 🤷‍♂️ people still holding out hope i suppose. Unrealistic
  25. Fire him now- no We don’t and he’s not
