Yes I have a different perspective than you. As do many. By definition, I don’t think that this game is crucial to winning a Super Bowl. A win will have a positive impact. A loss will have a negative impact, but neither impact will allow to, or prevent us from winning a Super Bowl.

I realize this and I believe that we can win the SB as a WC team. Either your championship caliber or you’re not. Line up and play the games. Being at home might give a team a slight advantage but there are multitudes of other things that have a much great impact on the outcome. Just get us to the playoffs and things will take care of themselves if we’re good enough. If we’re not good enough, playing games at home won’t matter….as to your example

I’m not saying he’s not a great….. I was just making a comparison to Jones. I know all about him and his career. I’ve partied with him. He’s one of my favorites. He created 155 and opened the door for the smaller guys. His victory over Hughes was top 10 in mma history knox. I thought he beat GSP in their first matchup. He’s an icon and a legend. But his record pales in comparison to the guys in conversation for best ever. As great as he was, he doesn’t belong in that conversation. I’m friends with a handful of his friends. They all said the same thing- he would’ve been the best ever if would’ve had his head on straight for more than a couple years at a time. I hear ya. Miamis been en fuego. I’m really high on our d right now. I love our DL. They’ll decide the game imo. If they can bottle up the run, I think we win. Ed has been best player thus far imo. So much versatility along the line and LBs. DL winning their matchups + a good McD scheme. I believe in him as our DC.

I’d love it for one reason and hate it for one reason. Love: We’d be the best team and would win the SB if the right guys remain healthy. Hate: stressing about whether or not Beane can limit the cap hell to just one season 6-7 years down the road. Trading for davante feels like the ultimate all in. All ins scare me. Unpredictable injuries can wipe out any chances. To date, I think Beane has toed the line between staying long term competitive and all in very well.
