  3. TODAY’S “DUMP BIDEN” INSTALLMENT Just a guess, but I think the word has gone out from the Obama redoubt in Martha’s Vineyard and/or his shadow White House in Kalorama that the New York Times needs to lead the push this week to force Biden out of the race. The Times is doom-scrolling its latest poll showing Biden on his way to certain defeat to Trump. Yesterday’s installment gave the raw numbers—Biden is eroding across the board. Today the Times is out with another headline of doom, whose contents could have been part of yesterday’s story, except the Times wants to mile their poll for maximum effect. Biden’s own voters think he is too old: Widespread concerns about President Biden’s age pose a deepening threat to his re-election bid, with a majority of voters who supported him in 2020 now saying he is too old to lead the country effectively, according to a new poll by The New York Times and Siena College. The survey pointed to a fundamental shift in how voters who backed Mr. Biden four years ago have come to see him. A striking 61 percent said they thought he was “just too old” to be an effective president. . . Seventy-three percent of all registered voters said he was too old to be effective, and 45 percent expressed a belief that he could not do the job. . . This unease, which has long surfaced in polls and in quiet conversations with Democratic officials, appears to be growing as Mr. Biden moves toward formally capturing his party’s nomination. I’m guessing those “quiet conversations” will start to be less quiet fairly soon. OUTRAGE: Alejandro Mayorkas Refuses to Admit Laken Riley's Murderer Should Not Have Been in the USA On Sunday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appeared on "Face the Nation" with correspondent Margaret Brennan. During a discussion of the recent murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, Mayorkas' answers were, to say the least, evasive. https://redstate.com/wardclark/2024/03/03/outrage-alejandro-mayorkas-refuses-to-admit-laken-rileys-murderer-should-not-have-been-in-the-usa-n2170868

  7. How Can Biden Stay In Now? Commentary, by John Podhoretz There's a scene in the peerless animated comedy Monsters Inc.—a cable-news special report featuring Dr. Frasenberger, who looks like a giant pencil. “It is my professional opinion,” he begins calmly, “that now is the time…TO PANIC!!!!!” If I were a Democrat today, or a Never Trumper, I would be Dr. Frasenberger. Because now is the time TO PANIC!!!! if you don’t want Donald Trump to be president. The release early Sunday morning of a of the presidential race showing Trump up by 5 points nationally not only confirms the undeniable evidence over the past six months that Trump has pulled into a measurable lead https://www.commentary.org/john-podhoretz/how-can-biden-stay-in-now/
  8. NYT/Siena Poll: Donald Trump Opens Five-Point Lead over Joe Biden; Gains Among Women, Latinos by Wendell Husebø Former President Donald Trump opened a five-point national lead among registered voters over President Joe Biden, a New York Times/Siena College poll found Saturday, surpassing the margin of error. “If the 2024 presidential election were held today, who would you vote for if the candidates were Joe Biden and Donald Trump?” the poll asked. 9. TN Rep. Mark Green Reverses Course, Will Run for Re-Election After All by Jennifer Oliver O'Connell Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security and TN Rep. Mark Green's pedigree is quite impressive. Green is also Dr. Green, an emergency room physician who was also a West Point cadet and is an Army veteran, and former Tennessee State Senator. Before being elected to the United States House of Representatives in Tennessee's District 7. President Donald Trump nominated him for Army Secretary, but his confirmation was stalled. Green went on to serve in Congress, and even after District 7 was redistricted in 2022 to incorporate parts of blue Nashville, Green won re-election handily against Democrat Odessa Kelly and was expected to win again in 2024. https://redstate.com/jenniferoo/2024/03/01/tn-rep-mark-green-reverses-course-will-run-for-re-election-after-all-n2170802

  12. Biden readies for a high-stakes State of the Union amid tight reelection race WashingtonCNN — President Joe Biden is expected to huddle with his senior advisers at Camp David in the coming days to fine tune and rehearse his State of the Union address, a high-stakes moment as he looks to convince voters to give him a second term in the White House. Biden and his team are drafting a speech heavy on economic populism, aides said, with calls for higher taxes on corporations and the wealthy – an attempt to draw a sharp contrast with Republicans and their likely presidential nominee, Donald Trump. Biden will also push for lowering health care costs and discuss his efforts to go after drug manufacturers to lower the cost of prescription medications — all issues his advisers believe can help buoy what have been sagging economic approval ratings. https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/01/politics/biden-state-of-the-union-prep/index.html Soooooo, The same thing he has been campaigning on for the last 50 years. Good thinking.
  13. YGBFKM, CBS CBS Saturday Morning and foreign correspondent Chris Livesay sought to explain what drove Hamas to commit its October 7 attack on Israel and settled on “Jewish activists kicking a hornets' nest,” despite admitting these activists have no real power or significant influence within the Israeli government or Judaism. Livesay would also throw certain Christians into the blame game as well. One woman Livesay interviewed claimed she wanted to get rid of the Dome of the Rock, which led Livesay to reassure viewers that “to be clear, hers is a dream not shared by the Israeli government or by the vast majority of Israelis and Jews.” However, “it's enough to incite numerous Islamist groups. Hamas has dubbed its October 7 assault on Israel the Al-Aqsa Mosque Wave as the Dome of the Rock as its emblem, but this sacred ground to billions of Muslims globally, not just Hamas terrorists, stresses Iman Mustafa Abu Sway of Al-Aqsa Mosque.” Did Israel wear its skirt too short, too? This is stupidity on stilts. Hamas has attacked Israel almost continuously for the last 17 years, especially in rocket attacks on civilian areas, and has repeatedly crossed the Gaza border to conduct offensive operations on the ground. They planned the October 7 massacres for at least two years, in pursuit of their openly declared ambition to annihilate all of Israel and its Jews. https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/alex-christy/2024/03/02/cbs-asks-if-jewish-activists-kicking-hornets-nest-provoked-hamas
  14. Latest Biden Remarks on Border Show Just How Deceitful He Can Be By Nick Arama We've heard a lot of things from Joe Biden recently. But his latest remarks are not only the height of weakness, but they show just how deceitful he can be on the border. I wrote on Friday about how Biden incredibly claimed he did not interact with his son Hunter's or his brother Jim's partners. That, despite the fact that there's all kinds of evidence that he did so, including Hunter admitting it during his deposition before House committees this week. But that wasn't the only incredible thing that Biden has said. As he was heading out for the weekend for another vacation, this time to Camp David. Biden also commented on the border. A reporter asked him, “Why are you waiting to take executive action on the border?” “Because we need more forces on the border, I don’t have the authority to do that,” the alleged leader of the free world responded. Um, Joe? You're the purported head of the executive branch. You're the one responsible for defending the border, even though you have failed to do so. Not only that, but you actively broke the border with the 94 executive actions you took when you came in. https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2024/03/02/biden-statement-on-border-n2170850 .
