You have to goutside the organization. Fewell's defense sucks and April's Special Teams have not been all that special so far. This week, Wilson should be lining up candidates and calling them Sunday night.

I want the Bills to lose to the Browns.
Realist replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A year or two ago, I would have blasted the original poster, but not anymore. I pretty much agree. Right now I find myself wishing deeply for the Bills meltdown to continue, but I know on Sunday I'll still be rooting for them to win, then after the game saying in the long run its a good thing they lost (or wishing they did lose if they pull out a win). The only way anything changes around here will be if they continue to lose. -

4 years and that's his roster? Sorry Dick, take a hike. -

To be honest, if I were Wilson, I would NOT listen to the fans right now. I'd sit back and think carefully on the situation, realizing this cannot go on for much longer. Sit with Brandon and company discussing the situation over the next few days/weeks. Look at the results of the next couple of games in the meantime think of potential midseason candidates and end of season candidates. After the next couple of weeks, if it looks like this team has given up as it appears they did yesterday, DJ is gone at the Bye and you call up those midseason candidates. If by chance, the Bills win most of their next few games (Jets being a major factor), you hang on to Dick until the end of the season. Do the same evaluation a couple of days after the season and replace Jauron at that point if the record and performance is not up to par. That's what I would do if I was Ralph Wilson, so to answer your poll, "None of the Above". Now if it was me, fire Jauron's ass if he loses against the Browns.

I was watching the game at a bar and left at halftime. I don't have Direct TV but I usually try and find a video feed on the internet. This time I just turned on the Audio and went and did other things, just checked in every once in awhile and it got worse everytime.

Turning the fans on the team (on purpose)?
Realist replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wilson isn't holding on to the coaching staff to get the fans pi$$ed, that's just stupid. He's keeping the staff in place because he just renewed Jauron's contract last year and will not pay DJ while he sits at home eating Cheetoh's on Sunday afternoons watching football. Wilson would rather pay Jauron while he stands in Ralph Wilson stadium, eating Cheetoh's and doing nothing. -
I think because its Rodney Harrison, whom everyone on this board hates, people are okay with it.

Tim, thanks for posting to this thread. I think I mentioned earlier in this thread or in a different one, can't remember, Evans says so many more controversial bites about the team and you never hear anything about those comments. But you can see how careful TO is trying to be with every word he says, it has to be nearly impossible for him to give an interview. If he's not careful, he is torn apart by the media. If you put Evans' words in TO's mouth, they would be plastered all over the newspaper, internet, all over TV, it would be ridiculous with what would be said about him. Isn't this the media trying to create the story? I can't blame him for being vague and unresponsive to many questions.

Yeah, but tell me you wouldn't take them on our team in a second, even for leadership qualities.

I don't mind posts like this, if someone told me something interesting about the Bills I would post it here also. Unfortunately, down here in NC, the only thing I hear about the Bills is, "You're a Bills fan? HA, HA, loser!" Seriously, you just have to take these posts for what they're worth. Even the original poster (mrags) said he didn't believe it. It's the people who say things and absolutely insist that its going down that drive me nuts.

I totally agree with this entire post, I couldn't have said better myself, but I'm only commenting on the first part. If the media wants a story, the player to go to is Evans. He doesn't hold back and never did, go back and read his comments after every embarrassing loss. He says exactly what he feels. If Evans' words came out of TO's mouth he would be crucified, but Lee is generally ignored.

If you were more disgusted by yesterday's game

That's exactly what worked against NE*. I have no idea why they didn't try this yesterday. -
Actually, I'm sure Gruden would have put something in his contract that he can get out of the ESPN gig if an NFL head coach position became available to him.

E-Mail I sent to Jerry Sullivan
Realist replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't mind Sullivan's questions, although I think they're directed at the wrong person. He should be asking Jauron those questions. "Hey Coach, why did we go out and sign a guy like TO if you have no plans on using him. Why was a talent like Lee Evans signed to an extension if you don't get him the ball." -
Early Bill/Fins predictions
Realist replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its going to be tough to beat Miami at 0-3 when they're playing at home. They'll run the Wildcat on us all day and Captain Checkdown will throw one INT early and never go long again that day. Miami 17 Buffalo 9 -

The QB has the same attitude as the coach, so yes, its also Jauron's fault. -
Pondering About The Game and season
Realist replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Disagree about this being a good thing. TO is a player that wears his emotions on his sleaves, he needs to blow up and I can't wait until he does. This team is full of players that do nothing but spin the company line, they need someone to get in their faces when they screw up. -
I think Trent and AVP quit on TO. Edwards looked as bad as he did against Cleveland last year. This offense was pathetic yesterday, you have two of the better WR's in the league and you can't get them the ball at all? Van Pelt really needs to look at himself in the mirror this morning and ask himself if he's good enough to be a coordinator yet and Captain Checkdown needs to grow a pair and try to get the ball to Evans and TO.
