  1. The only good thing about this for EVERYONE not a Pats or 49ers fan is that whoever won would stop one thing.. WE NEVER HEAR ABOUT THE DAMN 1972 DOLPHINS AGAIN!
  2. He had similar issues his first year in NE. He looked lost and useless, so BB say him 2 games for a “Hamstring” issue and when he came back he was lights out. I don’t know what they did those two weeks but since then he has gotten better each week. I’m shocked he had do Film study on his own that seems odd.. I mean they do film study as a group (FB etc) at my old HS I’d think Pros would too..
  3. In NE he be traded for draft position.. see Moss, Randy lol
  4. If I remember correctly, they said that shot almost killed him. Think about that, a perfectly legal hit and it came dangerously close to ending his life. I’m shocked he wanted to keep playing after that, I know I would have stopped.
  5. Very well said! Between him and Parcells and Kraft they brought a laughing stock franchise.. (one that was always rumored may move to LA) into a contender. You are also right a lot of the fan base doesn’t remember that. I remind myself anyone under 35 has no memory of those bad days.
  6. He is in the Patriots Hall of Fame, so up here we think he did a good job, but he also was a stand up man when he lost his job to Brady. He still did his job, he helped Brady whenever he could AND he won that game against Pittsburg when Brady went down. that was my second favorite playoff run right after the one in 1986 with Tony Eason, and HOF John Hannah.. that was a magical one that got me into football.. (squish the fish, “Raymond Berry and the Pats” song lol) Lol makes me wonder what made everyone a fan of their favorite team.. lol bit I regress Bledsoe was a good QB, he was NEVER mobile, had a cannon for an arm which stunk for short passes. But more importantly he is a good guy and teammate.
  7. I am asking ONLY.. but hasn’t McD earned a little bit of leeway since he broke the 19 year? Drought of not being in the playoffs and probably getting them there again this year? So 2/3 years in the big dance isn’t bad. And doing it with a 2nd year QB pretty good as Well..
  8. Allen has a good coach, a very good D, and a decent run game. ONLY thing he needs to fix, correction, the offense needs to fix is turning the ball over. I think Brady said it best “You want every possession to end in a kick, a point after, FG, or Punt. “ he stated that this year stating with this defense his job is just not to put them in a bad position... I dare say that Allen would agree with this as well. Allen is a good QB and shown the IT factor being able come from behind in the 4th.. like almost all young QBs he just has to learn take care of the ball better.
  9. Ok it’s obvious Miami is tanking, I would say Cincy isn’t trying to lose right now but are, same with the Redskins.. i actually get what Miami is doing they are loading up on draft picks and w the Steelers pick they could actually have 2 top ten picks and make this turn around a lot quicker if they coach they young talent right.. that last part is key.. COACHING! There is a huge lack of quality coaching in the league.. Top 5: BB Reid Carroll Peyton McVay??? i am hard press who put in #5.. IMO the Bills doing well this year because you finally have a competent HC. The Browns who are more talented are bad because they have Kitchens.
  10. Should be an amazing game. (Barring any major injuries for either team)
  11. Your right there are FEW good AFC teams this year.. very few. I also believe the Bills D is legit! And would be even better if they were not given short fields to defend so often. (Just my opinion.)
  12. First I was commenting on someone else’s post. Second I see you had nothing valid to point out to what I said so went on some Weird insult.. must be a knee jerk reaction when you agree with someone then notice you just hate the. For the color of the laundry they cheer for.. so sad but someday they will have a cure for jellyitus..
  13. I THINK he was showing them as proof of poor decision making by Allen. The one under pressure the guy looked open to me he just threw a bad ball, the other two were bad mistakes. I think he is right the Achilles heel right now for the bills is your O. I think the Bills have had two clean game with zero turnovers and three with two or more. Your D is amazing but sooner or later those TO are going to come back and hurt you.
  14. This right here! Also he will not be cut! He may get traded for a 5th or something like that but definitely not cut. BB wants to control where he goes. (As for Gordon he isn’t the same but I hope he keeps his act together no matter where he goes.. I like him.)
  15. Excellent post, I don’t think keeping the RB in make a difference as the person covering him now becomes a rusher as well since it’s man to man coverage. The Bills bet it in the second half with quick slants.. Back shoulder throws are not easy and require damn good accuracy because be off a wee bit and it can be intercepted.
  16. Lol I literally went out of my way to compliment the Bills D... which is the only reason the Bills are 5-1.
  17. You play who is on your schedule. That said those team average almost 15 points a game, the Pats D around 6.5. Holding your opponent to half their average is impressive no matter who it is. Also you know first hand records don’t tell the whole story, if they did this place be crying how bad the Bills D is because they allowed 16 points to the Jets, 17 to Cincy, and 21 to Miami teams with all of one win! The fact is your D is damn good too and also been doing it against mostly garbage can QBs with the only loss being against the one good one. (Not their fault like the Jets game the O was awful and if it wasn’t for your D that score is something like 24 or 30- 0 heading into the third.)
  18. IMO they are not as good as that D. That D HAD to carry the team as their O was mediocre at best.. I see the Bills D being similar in the fact (so far) they have had to cover for an O that has turned the ball over WAY to much. 4 turnovers against the Jets, 2 against Cincy, 4 against NE. Mind you much better last two weeks with just , but with that D stop turning the ball over and you will win a lot easier.
  19. The D has only given up 27 points (the other 21 on O and Special Teams) they have also scored 23 or 30 points.. so basically they are almost equaling the amount they give up. (I can’t remember if they have 3 or 4 TD this year) they been beating up on bad teams.. hopefully it sustains them now that the schedule gets tougher. Ravens ONLY 2000 season they won that SB. I wouldn’t even compare any D to any other before then because of how much the rules have changed to favor the O. It just wouldn’t be fair comparison IMO.
  20. Lol he will work well in the Pats system. He also has never been a primary target.. so 830 yards is pretty good lol
  21. I like Stidham but only a dang fool knows one way or the other right now. He could start next year (if Brady retires) and light it up, but more likely he will stink it up and be run out of town because he isn’t As good as Brady.. ( sorta like the Bills after Kelly hard replace a living legend in the area)
  22. Bills fans should understand you win while you can because once it stops you have no clue when it will be back.. trust me if I could sit threw 1-15 get Bledsoe I can handle a few lean years after The Pats get 7 Lombardis
  23. They have l: 1st 2 comp 3rds for Flowers and Brown (projected) 4th 3 6ths (2 of which expected companies picks) 3 7ths
  24. Ya, but with no third it was a second or no Sanu. And well Brady has maybe 1, tops 2 years left so going get 7 let’s worry about draft picks later and stock up now.
  25. Fair price for a WR coming off an Achilles injury.
