  1. I'd expect a DT at 56 if we go QB trade up and then O-line. Most likely a LB or WR in the 3rd unless that pick gets moved as well.
  2. I'd be more worried about Kyle Williams
  3. Cowherd had some interesting thoughts on this topic
  4. True, but it was just what came to mind when you asked the question. Carolina 15 with Stewart/Williams is another example but I think the greater point remains that the Bills are screwed without Shady. He shoulders a larger load than either example I listed did.
  5. MInnesota comes to mind, but they've been doing it all year
  6. As the trend shifts further towards passing teams and running teams become fewer and fewer, then you eventually see a point where running becomes more effective due to teams being ill prepared to deal with it. Whether it's due to personal choices or strategy, the run game can be a deciding factor at that time. Similar to the big WR leads to big CB which leads to faster WR and so on. Hopefully the Bills can still capitalize on this. I think it's already underway.
  7. Maybe that's the same guy that wrote the column in Chicago? They seem to have the same measured approach.
  8. Holy Schnikes, I don't want to see them move up for that price. I'd rather see a smaller bump up and grab Mack if it's going to be a defensive pick (and a trade up.)
  9. Best mock I've seen yet. Thank you for the obvious hard work Bandit. Only complaint: where is Rd 2?
  10. Usually several of us head to Buffalo Wild Wings, do some beer and wings but this year we're gonna flip the script and watch it at someone's house. Easier to hear the analysis and far more comfortable than those wooden torture stools.
  11. Godspeed Mr. Wilson. Thank you for all the great times with friends and family that the Bills have brought into my life.
  12. I can see rooting for NE. A 3rd straight SB loss would be that much more heart breaking. I would love to see Brady's tears that day. Dropping to .500 in the big game would be nice as well. Maybe we can see Gisele have a mini meltdown again
  13. Thank you Bill for the breakdown. I often don't get to see the games due to work and always love to catch up on the nuances that I miss just reading major outlet sources. One of the things I keep thinking about, and I haven't seen it brought up much (may have missed it.) If we win the last two games, besides just going 7-9 for the season which would be the second best record we've posted during the playoff drought I believe. More so, it would also put us at 4-2 in the division. I can't recall offhand, the last time we had a winning record in our division. That, to me, would be a great boost to this team's confidence going into next year and I don't feel that that can be understated for a young team like ours. Also, a Miami sweep would be a wonderful Christmas present from Santa this year.
  14. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=65825&draftyear=2009&genpos=DE I guess the weight idea was wrong, hmmm.
  15. Wasn't his combine pretty crappy and his weight way down? I recall him being much heavier on his pro day. I need to check that cause I can't recall completely but I thought that was the case. Didn't some have him as a much lower grade? Was he universally seen as a 1st round talent?
  16. I agree with the wish him luck and it was the organization's fault camp. No point in wishing him anything but the best. He had a personal tragedy in his life that could ruin anyone during his time with the Bills. And for him to still be pursuing his dream shows character. I do have one caveat... If he bulked up (which was rumored) using PED's to improve his workouts predraft, then he has some culpability. That was a choice to deceive on his part and he made it. The organization still shoulders blame as well, for emphasizing workouts over production/tape but he then played an active part in his mis-evaluation. All that is of course speculative.
  17. When did they release CR? I thought he was part of the free agent class. He choose to leave, we didn't push him out the door.
