weather looking tough... will it affect the deep ball?
-
I think we see it all game one: - Ed Oliver sack - Josh throw for 300+ - A deep ball to Diggs - Zack Moss goal line score We win big. I just hope we stay humble after

Rotoworld already rumored us to be in the mix but I think it makes total sense: 1) A back up with starter potential - should Josh Allen ever get hurt for multiple games, Rosen has a higher ceiling that Barkley. 2) A healthy competition to push JA - Lots of the top QB's around the league have solid back ups behind them to help the starter remain accountable - Rodgers/Love, Brees/Winston, Carr/Mariota, Trubisky/Foles, Wentz/Hurns, Baker/Keenum, Prescott/Dalton I love Josh Allen and think he can be our franchise QB, but I would feel a lot safer seeing him hurdle opponents with Rosen holding the clipboard.

Bills vs Jets what’s the game plan
rayray808 replied to Antonio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let Josh just spray the field with passes, then use delayed hand offs for the first half. Second half, play action and hit some deep balls. Bills 31 - Jets 10 -
A "Wildcat Strike" By The NFLPA Coming?

anyone else having issues with the BACKTOSCHOOL code for the 20% college discount?

That has literally never happened in his career. Like I said before, I love the dude and 100% support him, but it would be foolish to not recognize that he has ups and downs through games/series. 1 out of 5 quarters is every other game. That is where you should vote if so

After 2 years, and one pandemic driven off season there is a pattern emerging... Good Josh vs Bad Josh Streaky play. 3rd and long where we see something incredible happen, and then 3rd and long where we see something awful happen. Full disclosure, I am a believer in Josh and think he can put it together... but I am also a realist. He is a streaky player. There are countless examples from almost every game he has ever played in, from being forced to play game one vs the Ravens, all the way to the heartbreaking OT loss in Houston. Here are some simple examples though... YEAR ONE: (Week to week streakiness example) - Leaps over a Viking and helps cover the greatest moneyline bet in years. Next game vs Tennessee? 82 yards passing and a INT. YEAR TWO: (first half vs second half streakiness example) - Jets opener - INT city down 16-0, helps us come back to get the W. OFF SEASON: - Reports of Josh doing very well, then the next practice not so much. My question to the group, besides in the poll, is what level of streakiness are you expecting this season? What level of streakiness is acceptable for a "franchise guy" to be? What level of streakiness can this team rebound from and still be a contender? Most importantly: GO BILLS!

I wonder if the Vikings will have to cut anyone or trade away someone that could help us?

Will the 2020 'Covid' training camp set Josh Allen back?
rayray808 replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hopefully Daboll is dialing up quick hitters to get the ball out of his hands to guys with YAC appeal - completion % will go up - the 300 yard passing game curse will be lifted -
Will the 2020 'Covid' training camp set Josh Allen back?
rayray808 replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like what I have seen so far TBH. A good day at practice, followed by a bad day where the defense is collapsing on him, only to come back the following day improved. It's all we can ask for at this point figuring we have one of the best defenses in the league ?♂️ -
need to know if Josh had a poopy day again or not... my friday beer mood depends on it

The NBA has shown us the blueprint what to do, and the MLB is showing us what NOT to do. My guess for the NFL season is they will do divisional bubbles. 8 cities. 8 winners. Then a conference bubble with 4 teams in each, and finally the Super Bowl bubble. I would assume in the divisional round each team plays each other twice, then single elimination as usual. As far as location, I found an article stating where each one should be held: https://clutchpoints.com/if-the-nfl-bubble-for-each-division-which-8-cities-would-make-most-sense/ SHOULD IT GO THIS WAY: AFC EAST: Buffalo Bills - the Pats have enough players who opted out to give us the edge and a minimum split of 1/1 AFC WEST: KC Chiefs AFC NORTH: Baltimore Ravens AFC SOUTH: Indianapolis Colts - veteran presence of Rivers gives them the wild card factor of stealing a division NFC EAST: Dallas Cowboys NFC WEST: Seattle Seahawks NFC NORTH: Minnesotta Vikings NFC SOUTH: Atlanta Falcons AFC: Bills over Colts Ravens over Chiefs Bills over Ravens NFC: Cowboys over Falcons Seahawks over Vikings Cowboys over Seahawks SUPER BOWL "DALLAS IS GOING DOWN GARY" - in true pandemic fashion to top off a crazy year, the Bills and Cowboys face off in what is sure to be weeks long of jokes regarding how teams that were so heavily made fun of over the years make a super bowl during a pandemic. Good news for us? Josh Allen comes to play vs Dallas. Bills over Cowboys As Bills fans we get our super bowl win however everyone we know who is not a fan says it's a *** year because of the pandemic and format. Josh Allen's erratic playing style ends up being the recipe to grind wins through this odd season. GO BILLS!

Is Josh considered obese because his legs are so Thiccc? (asking for a friend) -
my cousin said that he is opting out of this season to really put the pressure on GB
-
wish him the best of luck but once we traded for Diggs and drafted a couple more WRʻs it was a given

So far it seems like for year 3 comps: FLOOR: MITCH TRUBISKY (bad stats, losing season) MAKES A STEP: JOSH FREEMAN (eratic but good stats, good season) MAKES TWO STEPS: DAK PRESCOTT (under control, commands offense, one playoff win) HUGE STRIDES: CAM NEWTON (backyard football with passing/running, division win, pro bowl) Fair?

Another interesting comparison: Josh Freeman - 6 foot 6, 240 pounds The 2012 season is when they got him support with TE Dallas Clark and WR Vincent Jackson, and was his third full season at QB. Could we also see a potentially burst in stats from Josh Allen similar to Josh Freeman? Did Kyle Boller have similar stats to him during his first two years? What did his third year look like? Not sure if the "strong arm" comparison holds when you look at the full spectrum of QB comparisons

What are some realistic past year 3 QB comparisons that we can expect from Josh Allen this season? I tried researching QB 3rd year stats and I am having a hard time finding one that is the most realistic for Josh this year... Here are some easy ones of modern QB's who resemble his play... What is his floor? Trubisky in year 3? 3138 yards, 63% completion, 17 TD, 10 INT, 2 rushing TD - Bears started 3-1 and ended up 8-8 to miss the playoffs. Would we move on from him if that was the case? What is his ceiling? Dak in year 3? 3885 yards, 67% completion, 22 TD, 8 INT, 6 rushing TD - Cowboys went 10-6 to win the NFC East, beat the Seahawks round 1 on the playoffs and then lost to the Rams 22-30. Would we cement him as "the guy" if that was the case? Are there better floor vs ceiling comparisons out there? 526 356 67.68 3885 7.4 90 22 8
