  1. I wonder if the Vikings will have to cut anyone or trade away someone that could help us?
  2. hopefully Daboll is dialing up quick hitters to get the ball out of his hands to guys with YAC appeal - completion % will go up - the 300 yard passing game curse will be lifted
  3. I like what I have seen so far TBH. A good day at practice, followed by a bad day where the defense is collapsing on him, only to come back the following day improved. It's all we can ask for at this point figuring we have one of the best defenses in the league ?‍♂️
  4. need to know if Josh had a poopy day again or not... my friday beer mood depends on it
  5. not a make or break year... but let's be serious as Bills fans: if he does bad - people will find reasons why it's not him if he does good - people will find reasons why it's not him
  6. The NBA has shown us the blueprint what to do, and the MLB is showing us what NOT to do. My guess for the NFL season is they will do divisional bubbles. 8 cities. 8 winners. Then a conference bubble with 4 teams in each, and finally the Super Bowl bubble. I would assume in the divisional round each team plays each other twice, then single elimination as usual. As far as location, I found an article stating where each one should be held: https://clutchpoints.com/if-the-nfl-bubble-for-each-division-which-8-cities-would-make-most-sense/ SHOULD IT GO THIS WAY: AFC EAST: Buffalo Bills - the Pats have enough players who opted out to give us the edge and a minimum split of 1/1 AFC WEST: KC Chiefs AFC NORTH: Baltimore Ravens AFC SOUTH: Indianapolis Colts - veteran presence of Rivers gives them the wild card factor of stealing a division NFC EAST: Dallas Cowboys NFC WEST: Seattle Seahawks NFC NORTH: Minnesotta Vikings NFC SOUTH: Atlanta Falcons AFC: Bills over Colts Ravens over Chiefs Bills over Ravens NFC: Cowboys over Falcons Seahawks over Vikings Cowboys over Seahawks SUPER BOWL "DALLAS IS GOING DOWN GARY" - in true pandemic fashion to top off a crazy year, the Bills and Cowboys face off in what is sure to be weeks long of jokes regarding how teams that were so heavily made fun of over the years make a super bowl during a pandemic. Good news for us? Josh Allen comes to play vs Dallas. Bills over Cowboys As Bills fans we get our super bowl win however everyone we know who is not a fan says it's a *** year because of the pandemic and format. Josh Allen's erratic playing style ends up being the recipe to grind wins through this odd season. GO BILLS!
  7. Is Josh considered obese because his legs are so Thiccc? (asking for a friend)
  8. my cousin said that he is opting out of this season to really put the pressure on GB
  9. wish him the best of luck but once we traded for Diggs and drafted a couple more WRʻs it was a given
  10. So far it seems like for year 3 comps: FLOOR: MITCH TRUBISKY (bad stats, losing season) MAKES A STEP: JOSH FREEMAN (eratic but good stats, good season) MAKES TWO STEPS: DAK PRESCOTT (under control, commands offense, one playoff win) HUGE STRIDES: CAM NEWTON (backyard football with passing/running, division win, pro bowl) Fair?
  11. Another interesting comparison: Josh Freeman - 6 foot 6, 240 pounds The 2012 season is when they got him support with TE Dallas Clark and WR Vincent Jackson, and was his third full season at QB. Could we also see a potentially burst in stats from Josh Allen similar to Josh Freeman? I sure hope we don't see the same fall off Year Age Tm Pos No. G GS QBrec Cmp Att Cmp% Yds TD TD% Int Int% 1D Lng Y/A AY/A Y/C Y/G Rate QBR Sk Yds NY/A ANY/A Sk% 4QC GWD AV 2009 21 TAM QB 5 10 9 3-6-0 158 290 54.5 1855 10 3.4 18 6.2 90 42 6.4 4.3 11.7 185.5 59.8 37.2 20 102 5.65 3.69 6.5 2 2 2 2010 22 TAM QB 5 16 16 10-6-0 291 474 61.4 3451 25 5.3 6 1.3 167 64 7.3 7.8 11.9 215.7 95.9 70.3 28 195 6.49 6.94 5.6 5 5 14 2011 23 TAM QB 5 15 15 4-11-0 346 551 62.8 3592 16 2.9 22 4.0 170 65 6.5 5.3 10.4 239.5 74.6 46.7 29 164 5.91 4.76 5.0 1 2 8 2012 24 TAM QB 5 16 16 7-9-0 306 558 54.8 4065 27 4.8 17 3.0 186 95 7.3 6.9 13.3 254.1 81.6 49.4 26 161 6.68 6.30 4.5 1 1 Other crazy similarities: 2009 QBs taken: Stafford, Sanchez, then Josh 2018 QBs taken: Baker, Darnold, then Josh Josh Allen combine scores: Measurables Height: 76.88 inches Weight: 237 pounds BMI: 28.87 Arm Length: 33.25 inches Hand Size: 10.13 inches Wingspan: 78.375 inches Birthdate: (N/A) NFL Combine Scores 40 Yard Dash: 4.75 seconds 40 Yard (MPH): 17.22 (MPH) 20 Yard Split: 2.74 seconds 10 Yard Split: 1.59 seconds Bench Press: (N/A) reps (225 lb) Wonderlic: (N/A) (0-50) QB Ball Velocity: 62 (MPH) Vertical Leap: 33.5 inches Broad Jump: (N/A) inches 20 Yd Shuttle: 4.40 seconds Three Cone: 6.90 seconds Shuttle Split: (N/A) seconds 60 Yd Shuttle: (N/A) seconds Four Square: (N/A) seconds Josh Freeman combine scores: Measurables Height: 77.75 inches Weight: 248 pounds BMI: 29.54 Arm Length: (N/A) inches Hand Size: 10.00 inches Wingspan: (N/A) inches Birthdate: 1/13/1988 NFL Combine Scores 40 Yard Dash: 4.90 seconds 40 Yard (MPH): 16.7 (MPH) 20 Yard Split: 2.85 seconds 10 Yard Split: 1.66 seconds Bench Press: (N/A) reps (225 lb) Wonderlic: 27 (0-50) QB Ball Velocity: 57 (MPH) Vertical Leap: 33.5 inches Broad Jump: (N/A) inches 20 Yd Shuttle: 4.43 seconds Three Cone: 7.11 seconds Shuttle Split: (N/A) seconds 60 Yd Shuttle: (N/A) seconds Four Square: (N/A) seconds
  12. Did Kyle Boller have similar stats to him during his first two years? What did his third year look like? Not sure if the "strong arm" comparison holds when you look at the full spectrum of QB comparisons
  13. What are some realistic past year 3 QB comparisons that we can expect from Josh Allen this season? I tried researching QB 3rd year stats and I am having a hard time finding one that is the most realistic for Josh this year... Here are some easy ones of modern QB's who resemble his play... What is his floor? Trubisky in year 3? 3138 yards, 63% completion, 17 TD, 10 INT, 2 rushing TD - Bears started 3-1 and ended up 8-8 to miss the playoffs. Would we move on from him if that was the case? What is his ceiling? Dak in year 3? 3885 yards, 67% completion, 22 TD, 8 INT, 6 rushing TD - Cowboys went 10-6 to win the NFC East, beat the Seahawks round 1 on the playoffs and then lost to the Rams 22-30. Would we cement him as "the guy" if that was the case? Are there better floor vs ceiling comparisons out there? 526 356 67.68 3885 7.4 90 22 8
  14. finally someone with a phD dropping knowledge in here ?
  15. did we just make the greatest weakness on our defense possibly our greatest strength? if so... LOOK OUT offense scores more than 17 a game and we win
  16. fills a need. not a flashy offensive pick like I wanted but tremendous value to get him at 54 when most mocks had us getting him at 21
  17. I get what you are saying, however if a round 1 edge rusher is available and we can get a RB and WR later, I could argue that the pressure from the edge could also help him more than a WR4
  18. Deny til you die - that is the motto for the next 24 hours
  19. I’m just gonna say it... Haters: Josh Allen keeps progressing and to assume he will plateau or regress has literally no statistical data behind it. You are just transferring past Bills trauma to him, and convincing yourself that we will never have a successful QB. Lovers: Josh Allen has SO MUCH more he needs to do to even enter the MVP conversation and also just be able to score more than 19 a game. Stop picking and choosing stats that make him God while ignoring the ones that make him a Bust. Play nicely dammit! (In a lockdown COVID19 Dad voice)
