  1. Fulmer is/was corrupt, and drove the program off the road, into the ditch, and, with help from the boosters, off a cliff. Good place for it. The state of Tenn might be one of the most beautiful in your opinion, but UTenn is located in Knoxville. In my opinion, the Chattanooga area is much nicer.
  2. "...Neyland stadium looks like a garbage truck workers convention ..." That guys rant is epic.
  3. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/32433425/jeremy-pruitt-lawyer-sets-oct-29-deadline-settlement-tennessee-says-volunteers-facing-lawsuit-not-met "(Pruitt Attorney Michael) Lyons added in his letter: "We have learned that UT upper administration was involved in or encouraged impermissible recruiting tactics. We have also learned that several prominent UT boosters have been and are involved in efforts to impermissibly recruit student athletes across multiple sports spanning multiple coaching regimes -- some of which are still in place."
  4. Even Chizik brought in a handful of good players to Auburn. That does not mean both are a good HC. After losing to UK this year, the Ogre admitted he was "surprised" by the Kentucky run game. Seriously? That's Dick Juaron level of stupidity, and WTF-ness. And you think the LSU admin is making a mistake of getting rid of him. Was not a fan of the BOB hire from the beginning. Feel free to take the Oline coach with him. As Bills fans, are we surprised the Bama Oline is having issues?
  5. Until a new HC is named, it won't matter if he stays or not. And being about halfway through the current season, naming a new HC now will create a bigger distraction for the team.
  6. The Ogre is Chizik 2.0 for sure. Other than that one special year with a superstar transfer QB, neither coach did squat the other 4 years. However, with the lawsuit and other off the field behaviors (threatening boosters to a fight is always a good choice for job security!), I believe the Ogre was on a much shorter lease going into this year than anybody else realized.
  7. I would not bet on it. https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/urban-meyer-back-to-college-dozens-of-ads-have-strong-opinions-on-possibility/ Bama OC Bill O'Brien to USC?
  8. Priceless https://imgur.com/DN5p70w
  9. And that's the rub. TX and OU were basically the TV money generators for that conference. With them gone, who's left? Okie State and WVU? Sure, they will add Cincinnati, Salt Lake, Orlando, and retain the Houston markets, but I doubt those markets will be able to make up for the loss. If IIRC, out of all the P5 conferences now, the Big 12 has the smallest TV deal. And the Big 12 was not included in the new PAC 12, Big 10, and ACC alliance. The Big 12 status as a "power" conference is going to take a massive hit. IMO, once all the moves have been made, the new Big 12 is going to be on par with old Big East conference. And we know how well that worked out.
  10. Once TX and OU leave the Big 12, shoudn't we start referring to the Big 12 as the new G6 conference?
  11. SEC Shorts does it again. As usual, for some of the really good stuff, Closed Captioning needs to be on
  12. Bill, love your enthusiasm. The UGA D looks legit, but UGA is still being coached by Kirby. And both QBs looked like trash. Both teams better hope it was nothing more than opening game jitters, or the season might spiral out of control for both of them. Ya think? It wasn't apparent last year? The Ogre is Chizik 2.0 until proven other wise.
  13. Looks like LB Chris Allen is gone for the year. LB To'o To'o appears to be ok. Happy for the win, but it could been an ugly way to start the season. Meanwhile, over at LSU, Orgeron was again showing his classy side: Orgeron is looking like the LSU version of Chizik. At least Chizik was not a azz clown like this guy.
  14. What a bizarre story this is. https://www.complex.com/sports/bishop-sycamore-interviews-roy-johnson/ https://sports.yahoo.com/everything-we-know-about-bishop-sycamore-the-high-school-that-scammed-espn-into-airing-a-football-game-211844590.html
  15. What makes you think he would not move the Sabres as well? The Bills and Sabres are no longer a package deal for a city wanting an NFL franchise and/or NHL franchise. He could easily send the Bills and Sabres in 2 different directions to maximize his returns. I am not saying Terry will, or wants to, move the teams, but I agree with Logic. Until a contract is signed, do not assume the Bills are a 100% lock to stay in Buffalo. Circumstances change between now and 2023 when the current contract expires.
  16. Why would have to give up the Sabres? Unless I missed something, a ban on cross ownership of different sports teams in different cities was scrapped by the NFL. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/17/nfl-finally-ditches-cross-ownership-policy/
  17. Pretty much. The PAC-12 is desperate to stay relevant.
  18. Fake. https://larrybrownsports.com/college-football/nebraska-ad-response-viral-uniform-hoax/582516 Almost wish it would be real. Joke uniform for a joke program.
  19. Saban has repeatedly stated through out the years he prefers to play against schools like Penn State, USC, etc .... Does he want to play two or three of them a year? Yes. Repeatedly. Through out the years. Yes, one per year. Once again, he has repeatedly stated he wants to play games against the traditional FB schools. He does not want to play against the Mercers, etc.... But you believe what you want.
  20. Saban has repeatedly stated through out the years he prefers to play against schools like Penn State, USC, etc .... Yes. Repeatedly. Through out the years. I take it you have not enjoyed the last 2 match ups between Michigan and Bama? I get it. When your team is unable to beat your biggest rival (how many years now?), and you are powerless to do anything about it, you have to direct that anger somewhere. It's all good.
  21. LOL. Because Tulsa and Akron are such traditional FB powerhouses. And somehow thinking the MAC schools are kind of a big deal. This sounds like the idiots from UCF trying to claim they play in a "Power 6" conference. As somebody up thread has pointed out, there are 130 FBS schools playing football. In my opinion, that's about 90-100 too many teams. Schools playing at the FBS level does not automatically equate them to being "better". Ask a Michigan person about App St in 2007.
  22. Personally, I could care less. Let 'em in. Texas, and their base, is finding out they are not the king s**t they think they are. In fact, UT as a football program has not been relevant since UT got Sabanized in the NC game. Have to disagree here. This current expansion has nothing to do with stopping Saban and the Tide. This is all about money. For everybody involved.
