  1. I’ve got good friends who are huge Ravens fans so I’ll be pulling for them. I don’t “hate” the Chiefs…I’m just sick of them. We don’t need Mahomes playing in yet another Super Bowl. In the NFC the Lions are the feel good underdog story so I’ll be rooting for them. There really isn’t anything I like about the 49ers. Scratch that; I guess I do like Deebo.
  2. There is only one answer to this "mystery" -- substance abuse by all four involved.
  3. Yes! All we need is for someone else to give them losses so we can finally get them in the playoffs at our....um, nevermind.
  4. Very well written. End of an era indeed.
  5. Ok. See ya around, pal. We'll miss ya.
  6. I know what you told me (about Dorsey) and I don't think what McD says constitutes a "lie"...I don't think he can tell the press something like that.
  7. There's a difference between acknowledging something and using it as an excuse.
  8. Get ready for more primetime games next season...
  9. To be clear, I'm rolling my eyes at your first statement, not the second...
  10. Well, what I like is that I haven't heard him "blame" injuries one time. Focus is on preventing what occurred to get to 6-6. And he's right about KC. The Bills have made strides and are right there...just have to get over the hump. Is McD the guy to do it? Jury still out but he's not going to be fired any time soon so what choice do we have but to get behind the team?
  11. Are people really having a problem with what McD is saying?
  12. Whatever, man. Mahomes QB rating for the game was 131 and his QBR was over 90. He played great. The Bills still should have won.
  13. That's fine.
  14. Scott, you're like a little kid on Christmas morning...this is your favorite day of the year.
  15. He's gotta go.
  16. The "adjustment" the Chiefs' defense made was to put 9 in the box on first down. I have no idea why Josh didn't audible out of those runs up the middle. We knew the Bills' D would be under the gun...I can't blame them for this loss.
  17. He'd be stupid say otherwise.
  18. How is that any different than any other team? Mahomes had a play a perfect game to beat the Bills...and he did.
  19. Here to eat my crow, but there is NO reason the Bills should have lost that game. No, we couldn't stop Mahomes but the offensive plan was brilliant for most of the night -- move the ball methodically and control the clock. We were too predictable with some of the 1st down runs in the 2nd half but still, at the end of the game, had a chance. Josh ignored two easy "layups" on the final two plays before the missed FG...and then, of course, 45-yard FGs should be automatic in this day and age. I do think a healthy Bernard in the middle would have made a difference but that's just an excuse. Catches by Sherfield and Diggs on dimes by Josh would have helped also. This one just sucks, plain and simple.
  20. Even if true, that shouldn't be a concern in Buffalo. Good locker rooms self-correct bad behavior.
  21. He did. I think sometimes we get caught up in the number of concussions without remembering that all concussions are not equal in severity, and everyone doesn’t react the same way to a concussion. It’s entirely possible that Taron’s symptoms were very mild and this was done out of an abundance of caution. Anyway, it’s great that he is feeling good and will be out there.
  22. Pretty much all true…I think the problem is that there’s the presumption of nepotism, along with his extroverted personality and exuberance, that turns people off. Saying dumb stuff like “we’ll feed Spiller until he pukes”….and obviously his HC tenure in Denver was an unmitigated disaster. No question he’s a good dude and obviously knows football, and it certainly can’t have been easy in Buffalo working for that jackass Marrone.
  23. Up at 5 am…can’t sleep any more. Today is the day Josh and the Bills rewrite the narrative. Go Bills!!!! 15 and 6, Babyyyyy!!!!
  24. That is what Baltimore is. Super defense that shuts you down, and they ask Lamar to go and get a few scores. I don’t think Lamar is a great quarterback but there is no question he is a great football player. It is going to be very difficult for either the Bills or the Chiefs to beat them in Baltimore because of that crowd and that defense. The blueprint is that you must shut down the running game…and your offense can’t make any mistakes. I just hope we have chance to give it a shot.
