  1. How do their playoff numbers stack up? Or the fact that you're using raw numbers despite the increased attempts for cousins vs smith. 45 extra attempts for cousins in 2017, and 51 additional yards. Cousins comp% went down for the 2nd straight year. Smiths had an INT% under 2% for 5 straight seasons, Cousins never has. Cousins led the league in sack yardage last year.
  2. I honestly think Cousins is no longer an option. We don't have the cap space to make it work without gutting the team.
  3. Foles will cost you something, while cousins doesn't. But you also get to try before you buy with foles, at an affordable 2018 cap hit. McCown definitely signals that you plan to get a QB though, so we'll definitely have to trade up.
  4. Yeah - thats a good point. If the Jets sign Cousins i think they drop McCown too. He's not a viable starting option, but he'd be a solid backup if we drafted someone. Glennon also probably gets shipped out.
  5. I think if he makes it past 6, he's got to be at least in play. Depends who they like though. 21+22 for pick 9 with SF might do it.
  6. Cousins goes to one of them. Giants may not draft one, as they could love barkley, or trade down to address other holes (terrible O-line). Cardinals pick at 15, which is much easier to jump than 5 or whatever - and they also have tons of holes and are a solid candidate to bottom out. There's also Bradford, Keenum, Bridgewater, McCarron available. As well as Allen, Jackson, Rosen, and Darnold. There's always a chance he falls more than people think. He's a tad over 6', which will turn some people off. He's had some issues. I don't think we're willing to trade up to like 2 or 3, but i think like 9, or 10 might be in play if we like a certain guy.
  7. Great QBs are able to play for soooo long. There just aren't tons of examples of running backs playing for 15-20 years. I don't care where you draft the guy, or sign the guy or whatever. Just get it right.
  8. He's like Jordan at this point. His contract is still a huge amount of money, but when you add in his endorsement money he's probably just as high as anyone else.
  9. Right...? Tyrod is drafted by Baltimore... Barely plays for them. Then plays like 40 games for buffalo. How is that a hit? I guess from the perspective of "productive NFL player in the 6th round" then yes, he's a hit. And he's missed what the last 20 games for Miami?
  10. Winston at least seems to have some upside still. He's just burning through the cheap part of his contract with nothing to show for it.
  11. Don't u remember when he juked eddie robinson?!!!
  12. Yeah, I would agree. Also - i think Mariota is kind of bad. For a #2 pick i expect something better than Tyrod Taylor. Tannehill is the definition of meh. Winston doesn't impress me.
  13. I wouldn't consider Fitz or Taylor as hits - because their success was not with the team who drafted them.
  14. They're carrying over 50 million in cap from 2017 too. Shouldn't be an issue for them at this point because there's no one on the team really getting paid.
  15. I vaguely remember people kept asking him about the hat, and he said something like - i needed a haircut, so i wore a hat... and now i'll never wear one again.
  16. Eh - i mean... he's a buffalo bill til hes not. He's just trying to get paid so he can buy more fancy suits.
  17. Really demonstrates his leadership and accountability for a coach who preaches doing things the right way.
  18. They can't afford his salary, they are over the cap as of now. Bradham is a free agent. Peters will be cut.
  19. I mean - in the video he was asked what do you want to work on in the offseason. He basically said he wanted to work on his accuracy, but answered it as "Continue to be accurate"
  20. People will be lining up to cancel tickets.
  21. A tad extreme.... I have 0 interest in Foles for a 1st round pick. I don't think anyone really does. The Free agent class will hit a lot of the spots, and the ones that don't will look to the draft. So they only way to trade him and get something for 2018 would be to trade him when you can. Drafting in the 1st gets you 5 years of cost control, trading for Foles gets you one.
  22. Considering Bradford, Bridgewater, Keenum, Cousins are UFAs. McCarron might be - and at the very least will be a RFA and subjected to an offer sheet. Bears save a ton cutting Glennon too so he's probably available. Foles might be available for trade. There's a decent chance Miami cuts Tannehill. Not to mention... Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Mayfield, Rudolph, Jackson are in the draft. McCown has legit never played a 16 game slate and he's 39. Why not bring back Fitz, or Blaine Gabbert? I'm ok with McCown, but only if you're very much planning on getting a QB in the draft. I think signing McCown also very much lays out your intention to draft someone.
  23. Ah - good point. I forgot they already like... did all this lol
  24. They're already over the cap in 2018 while also losing players. They have 1 pick in first 3 rounds, and will probably need to release a few solid players (Peters, Curry/Graham, Torrey Smith) to get under the cap. Adding a top 100 pick or even two would definitely help the team.
  25. They hired Matt Eberflus to be their D-coordinator already, so me-thinks they want to go offense. Could very well be a rooney rule interview.
