  1. I mean - lets not forget cordy glenn was paid like a pro bowler and missed a ton of time the last 2 years. Was his ankle just better now? I doubt it.
  2. Could've been 2 weeks after the draft..?
  3. We're missing our entire left side of the line... and the right side was really bad. Dawkins looked pretty good a year ago - but we only had 1 good guard and now he's gone. Going to be rough unless they hit on some picks.
  4. Probably listened to his agent in saying - you aren't going to make more than this on the open market, because of who you are.
  5. When he was benched for cousins, he needed to be released. They barely let him practice because of the injury money. Goes a long way to ruining someones development when they're basically banished from practice/film study and unable to be released until he can pass a physical a season later. I guess? Jackson is a far more dynamic running threat than griffin. In his last 2 years of college griffin had about 1200 yards rushing and 18 TDs. Jackson had about 3000 yards rushing and 39 TDs in his last 2 years. Jackson needs called runs to be really dangerous though. You don't run for 3000 yards on scrambles.
  6. I mean - if he truly was that bad, maybe he could've dragged us down into the bottom of the league and figured out a way to get Wentz or Winston or something.
  7. I guess... Going into 2013 everyone thought they had a top 5 QB. I don't think anyone ever said that about Tyrod Taylor.
  8. Read this... https://www.sbnation.com/2015/9/1/9232961/robert-griffin-iii-washington-jay-gruden-dan-snyder-mike-shanahan-injury-concussion and tell me that the Redskins shouldn't shoulder some of the blame.
  9. Honestly though - his career was ruined by injuries, and the whole kirk cousins situation. They decided they wanted to go Cousins - whatever that's fine. But they picked up the 5th year option so he had to sit out his 4th year as no one wanted him with an injury/release guaranteed extra year, and they wouldn't let him play. Not only that - but you're guaranteed to NOT get that 5th year money as they'll just release you with no $$. I mean, you want to try and learn - be a good teammate so you can catch on somewhere else the next year. But it was a disaster of a situation for him, and you can only pretend you're happy when in reality you're benched, and they aren't even considering you as an option. He essentially had to ride the pine for money he was basically already owed. He didn't get a chance to catch on somewhere else, and his 5th year situation was held hostage. I'd have been pissed off too. He had some absolutely insane game lines. 14/15 for 200 and 4 TDs with 84 on the ground 19-27 for 304 4 TDs on MNF 17-22 for 182 1 TD and 138(!) on the ground with 2 more TDs Also he was Offensive rookie of the year, All-rookie team, pro bowler, 3rd highest QB rating, top 5 in YPA, APYA, comp%, Int%, and had 3 Comebacks For 1 year - he was pretty outstanding....
  10. Fact - he's the last QB to lead a browns team to a win.
  11. SMOKESCREEEEEEN
  12. True - but if it goes allen, darnold, rosen - and those 3 are set that they want their QBs. Browns will be tough to talk out of Barkley, as they think it will help them be an insant contender. Then you have Denver. Denver would be the team IMO most likely to deal within the top 5.
  13. I don't think the broncos would go QB at 5. The 4th best QB or a top dog pass rusher? Or even trading down to try and address both pass rush and pass protection.
  14. Since the Giants won't make a move until the draft, the best thing to do is just stay visibile with everyone in the top 10. If the Giants don't want to deal, or the guy you want is gone, I'm fairly certain they'll have a plan for that. You can't make someone trade with you
  15. You can keep moving picks though (move up, move down, move out of the first etc)
  16. Thats why you wouldn't trade until the draft
  17. It's odd because he does seem to make quick decisions on the field. But he better kill his interview for anyone to use a high pick on him at this point.
  18. I like him as a player to watch, but at the same time... He doesn't come off as particularly bright in interviews and thats a bit of a concern.
  19. He's not mechanically sound. Inconsistent footwork, and he's kind of awkward when throwing on the run. He has a really live arm for someone who doesn't use their legs and core to really drive it. Honestly the vision and pocket presence are both pretty solid though, and he has next level athleticism.
  20. Favre for me, as a just constant stream of fastballs. He never seemed to just soft toss, always whipping it.
  21. I honestly don't think it will matter. Keenum will have a good year with that team if they can keep him upright. Thomas and Sanders, Anderson and Booker, and they even get Jake Butt back from his college injury. Kelly and Lynch can compete to the be the backup/qb of the future should it fail, but using a top pick on another QB after 2 years, AND spending fairly large in free agency (keenum is their highest paid player by cap hit in 2018) just seems unlikely. Certainly possible - I would think they'd have to love ONE of the guys there at 5 and it isn't Allen. Not after what happened with their last project QB in Lynch.
  22. He needed at least a year when he was drafted - he was a project. He's played 4 games...
  23. I really don't personally think Denver wants a QB at 5. Or at least I don't think they should want one there. Case Keenum didn't get a huge contract, but they drafted Lynch in 2016, and kelly in 2017. They need to get younger at a lot of positions in the next couple of years. Chubb or Nelson would help them beef up their lines a ton. Chubb across from Miller would create a mean pass rush. Bolles and Nelson creates a huge strength on the o-line which makes your QB that much better.
  24. Unless the RB is shady mccoy... I feel like they never call obvious facemasks on him.
