  1. Weak link? He fumbled sure. So did Cook. Allen also telegraphed a terrible INT, and mis-read a red zone possession resulting in a field goal. He also blocked, hit people, and caught every target (they were all check downs).
  2. I don't know enough about how an NFL team runs - but Moss could have had a good week of practice. Maybe Motor got dinged a little. Everything everyone says is pure speculation. I do believe that buffalo doesn't want Motor cracking like 250 touches though. Too many guys missing too much time, along with general wear and tear that can sap some of that effectiveness in the playoffs.
  3. They'll make you their percentage back in endorsements, can prevent you from getting swindled by friends/family. Know trusting people in money management.
  4. My guess is it was like 90 degrees in the dome and they had a plan to rotate heavily.
  5. Yeah that phillips stunt was funny. Everyone shifted and phillips came around the edge unblocked like a maniac.
  6. You probably play 2 games a season in sustained heat. I rotate as much as possible in that situation. Moss also was out there a lot on that 13 play drive for whatever reason, probably something they saw and wanted him in there for pass pro or something. I think him and motor are important for the MNF game. That team has pushed the bills around for a few years now, its time to get physical and push back.
  7. I do think Stafford is rusty - the whole training camp pitch count piece. But the bills pass rush was beating him up all night. Sacked a ton, and there were a few where he got the ball off and got absolutely crushed.
  8. He's usually pretty sure handed, and doesn't really fumble much. He had that miscue in the 49ers game his rookie year(I believe that fumble was tied to Allen but it was a Moss fumble imo). In Miami last season he had one get punched out when i think he was stretching for yards similar to this. Motor has 10 fumbles in 3 seasons fwiw.
  9. I remember showing some out of town colleagues some photos i took on the walk to the playoff game last year. People huddled around trash can fires and fire pits. Cans and trash everywhere. My beers kept freezing too. Then we beat the piss out of the patriots so it was basically the greatest game I've ever attended.
  10. Why would you want to go to another teams practice squad? You've been here 3 years, you know the playbook, etc. He can sign with any team at any time, but now that he's on a practice squad they have to give him 3 game checks even if you cut him or don't use him. And after that they still have to expose him to waivers etc.
  11. Still think its early to just waive the guy IMO. New coaching staff must really not like the guy to straight up waive him.
  12. I mean... the vikings drafted a lot of dudes there plus you have the new GM. I think the raiders alarming miss rate on first rounders is probably more notable than Minnesota cutting 6 of 11 picks from 2021. They did make 10 more picks in 2022 and 9 of those guys made the roster. So 14 of 21 picks are still there from the last 2 years. Just too many picks in too short a time. How many 2016 buffalo bills 7 draft picks played on the 2017 team? 2.
  13. They at least wanted a backup plan if he is being let go. As for Cook I don't consider him a 3rd down back - we pass quite a bit on first down these days too 🙂 Yeah... no. You don't trade him unless you want to play the backup. Not because of 2023.
  14. I think he's the IR guy to add a punter. So its like a free roster spot until today.
  15. Extrapolate his numbers out and you'd get 2201 yards from scrimmage (1494 rushing and 707 receiving), and 9-10 TDs. Which would have been more yards than MJD and Rice had that year, but fewer TDs. His 6.6 yards per touch was considerably higher than any other running back that season.
  16. Especially for 450k! If its a 10M difference in cap hit or something there's a lot that goes into that decision. But a 450k difference? Just pull the trigger.
  17. Very true. Morris Cap hit is basically 3.3M. Yep - Morris is basically free. Its whether you wanted to pay howard to play or not play. I doubt his contract had offset language so you can recoup some cash if he signs elsewhere. Cap space is gone though.
  18. What contract? he's a free agent immediately after release.
  19. I'm sure he's not amazing but... 1 - Hes probably better than Haack 2 - He's a long time vet 3 - He used to be quite good (3 pro bowls, a couple of all-pros), I'm sure the leg isn't as strong as it used to be but there is some upside
  20. Seems logical as a 1 year solution.
  21. Basing everything on his playing time in pre-season - he's garbage and should be cut. Based on camp rumors? I would say they are challenging him to secure a role as the primary TE2 for specific game packages. They want some flexibility to split out wide, and they want him to block. I think they'll keep a 3rd as a reserve more for the primary knox role in the offense.
  22. yea... if hes innocent, he can possibly punt somewhere else someday. But at this point, its a distraction.
  23. They can't exempt him as it occurred in college. I say cut him. If he's innocent, perhaps he can find another punting job down the line, its not like us cutting him is the end all be all of his career anyway. Just a huge distraction right before the season starts.
  24. Who cares, distraction city. Cut him.
