  1. In fantasy I hope we come away with Saffold, Williams and Paradis....a good reality would be 2 of them.
  2. Glad you said that because I was almost going to go back and edit. Isabella is incredibly quick and his ability to cut, change direction and accelerate are unreal. Great point ?
  3. Except Isabella is more explosive and faster....Zay ran a 4.45 40 compared to Isabella at 4.31
  4. Go to YouTube and check out some clips on Isabella and Marquise Brown....you will come away impressed. I really love this time of year for Football....hopefully that feeling will get extended to January this year. Also it would be cool to go to the draft.
  5. I’m dont know if it’s a guarantee he lasts to our 2nd round pick. I think he could go anywhere from early 2nd through the 3rd.
  6. For a moment....I thought this was an Irv Smith thread. I really like Isabella alot. If we dont go WR in the 1st...I wouldn’t mind Isabella, Brown or Harry with our 2nd assuming one of them is still available.
  7. This is a tough pick to choose....I have been watching more video....I am starting to warm up to Hockenson but still like Metcalf also if we go the offense/skill position. I also think that Isabella is going to be incredible as a pro....he is explosive and versatile. Hakeem Butler is raw but intriguing and I can see why a of posters like him as a possible 3rd round pick. Marquise Brown is also of the same mold of Isabella ...both have great speed and quickness...Isabella seems to be the tougher while Brown might be touch faster. Not to be confused....I am not saying to take Isabella, Brown or Butler at pick 9....I just like them a lot and see their value in the 2nd or in the event we trade down.
  8. I am not going to anoint McDermott and Beane as Levy and Polian just yet...but the aura around the Bills feels good and trending upwards ....that’s just me.
  9. The Raiders got a great deal...the high fives in Buffalo would have sounded like thunder on Friday if we would have only given up a 3rd and 5th for AB....but we’re not sure if the price was going to be the same for the Bills. Giving up the 9th overall would not have been so euphoric.and well received (even in a trade down of 1sts) ...If this was the case that seems to be floating around.
  10. The big losers in all this were the Steelers....plus not to mention they will lose Bell for nothing in a few days....so Pittsburgh comes out with a 3rd and 5th for arguably the best WR and best RB in the NFL.
  11. I think it would take more than their two late 1sts and Carr to move up to the 1st overall.....they would have to part with pick 4.
  12. Just my opinion...but Beane's tenure in Buffalo will be tied to Josh Allen and how he performs....The better Josh looks and does increases Beane's job security and legacy. I don't see Beane as being conservative and taking the safe route. Again based on Beane's MO, I see Metcalf being high on his wish list. I could be wrong but if we looked at the polls prior to last years draft....how many people wanted or were right about the QB Beane selected? I don't see him taking the simple route such as Kyle retired so we have to replace him immediately with our 1st or our OL is bad so we have to grab the best OL with our 1st. I think landing AB would have potentially taken some of the pressure off how he would have approached the draft. Other than Metcalf (probably the only WR I would take with our 1st unless we trade down) I like Harry, Isabella, Campbell, Brown, Butler and Anthony Johnson. I do think Buffalo needs a bigger physical WR in the mold of Metcalf, Harry or Butler. I also think Isabella has the it factor and will surprise.....it is a good class of WRs
  13. You are going to overpay in Free Agency for a player in most cases....If Brown were an upcoming Free Agent....I am sure he would have easily received this contract over 3 years. A 3rd and 5th seems like a bargain...Strange unless they dropped the price after our deal fell through …. or the rumors of him refusing to come to Buffalo are true and Beane did his best to cover it up.
  14. At least it is over now and he isn't going to the Patriots or the Saints where he would prosper and possibly play for a Superbowl or 2.
  15. Well the price wasn't bad....I could have lived with that assuming we would have got the same deal. The contract isn't outrageous considering Sammy Watkins just signed a 48 Million Dollar contract for 3 years.
  16. I think a WR such as Metcalf or Harry who are big bodied with a large wingspan would be ideal for Allen. I also like the potential of Metcalf's ability to stretch the field. I think with Allen's mobility and running prowess...he can get by with a lesser offensive line during pass protection....not to say that the OL doesn't need to be upgraded....especially for the running game besides Allen...I understand we need to fill the vacancy that was left by Kyle also. Free Agency will give us a better idea of what we can expect from the draft.
  17. I like Campbell out of Ohio State a lot also....great combine. My question to him was basically which WR would he take if given the choice out of any WR in the draft. But I do like the Campbell pick....I like Isabella and Brown ahead of him but he is right there.
  18. Ok honest question to you....it's our 2nd Round pick and no WR has been taken in the draft up to our pick.....what WR would you choose? We will say we have taken Oliver, Taylor or Williams with pick #9.
  19. Allen wasn't overly productive in college. There were much more productive QBs than Allen his draft year.
