  1. Who was his QB....maybe Jake Plummer? Bunch of journeymen QBs before that.
  2. Jump on board and enjoy the ride....you got to be stoked about seeing him and Edmunds. It's all gonna be good maybe even great.....2018 is going to be a cornerstone in the history of the Bills and Sabres.
  3. https://www.sbnation.com/2018/5/8/17327960/nfl-free-agency-2018-compensatory-deadline
  4. That is one of the funniest posts I have read.
  5. I really like the idea of Luke Joeckel a lot. On the low end he would provide a versatile depth O Lineman.....on the high end, maybe he can become 75% or better the player he was drafted as out of college. At the suggested price of $4 million over 2 years, I think he is worth the gamble.
  6. I agree maybe I should change the title to which current Free Agents that are left interests you.
  7. What current free Agents that you would like the Bills to bring in for a visit and to potentially sign... if you want state your reason why and the contract you would offer.
  8. I am not sure which thread I posted it on....but I was listening to WGR in the morning on my way to work about 2 weeks before the draft and a caller called in who sounded legit and said that he was in a restaurant and saw Brandon Beane there. He said he introduced himself to Beane and told him he liked what he and McDermott were doing with the Bills and congratulated Beane on making the playoffs. He then said he asked Beane if he could give him some inside info on which college QB the Bills were looking at in the draft...he said he thought Beane would stay tight lipped about it and not answer him...but he said to his surprise, Beane responded...We were hoping the kid from Wyoming would fly under the radar but it doesn't look like that is gonna happen now.
  9. I think a good comparison to Gentry might be Chris Hogan...similar size, speed, vertical jump...both workout fanatics.
  10. I agree with the enthusiasm and I am a big fan of what they have done in the short time they have been here but it is a little premature to give them top billing at the moment. This draft could define their careers especially when pulling it off in the same year they ended the playoff drought.
  11. Professional career[edit] Gentry signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2017.[1] He was waived on September 2, and was signed to the Bears' practice squad the next day.[2][3] On September 12, Gentry was promoted to the active roster.[4] On September 17, in the 29–7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Gentry had two receptions for 27 yards in his NFL debut in Week 2.[5] He was waived on September 19, 2017 and was re-signed to the Bears' practice squad the next day.[6] He was promoted back to the active roster on October 11, 2017.[7] He was waived on November 11, 2017 and was re-signed to the practice squad.[8] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Bears on January 1, 2018.[9]
  12. He said Dez Bryant was his favorite WR and he tries to pattern his game after him.
  13. Dirty Harry in da house.....going to be a Beast in the Middle
  14. I think that we are way ahead ourselves until we see how training camp goes along with the preseason.
  15. I guess I should have been more specific and said that this is probably one of the reasons that he probably wouldn't want to sign here. You make some valid points but WR is a position of concern.
  16. As much as I would like for Dez to sign with the Bills...I am not sure if he would like playing his games in the Buffalo and Northeast Climate. He grew up in Texas, played his college football in Oklahoma and then back to Texas.
  17. If you were legit, why wouldn't you have just said that Dez Bryant visiting the Bills Friday with potential signing on Monday?
  18. Who is and what happened to Dunkirk Don? I am new to this forum and he sounds legendary.
