A broad look at GM Candidates
Santana replied to filthymcnasty08's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This whole organization terribly run, from the top down. It's going to take more than a new GM to turn things around. -

Yeah he's probably got it good where he's at. I don't blame him really, he's learning from the best and probably getting paid great with no real worries. I doubt Whaley goes anywhere anyways he just signed a contract extension. -

Eric DeCosta, that's the only guy that's worth giving a shot. He's been under Ozzie Newsome who IMO is the best GM in the league and has been for quite a long time. -

The sky is falling...Bills considering shutting Watkins down
Santana replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wow......just wow -
Everyone looks good under BB's system. He's only played in 1 game so far, there's not really any tape on him. Lets see how he is a year down the road once teams can study him. Could very well end up being another Matt Cassel.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tate comes in and becomes the 3rd receiver by week 2

seantrel Henderson facing 4 game suspension
Santana replied to Don't stop billievein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The case that's going to hurt Seantrel Henderson with saying he's taking it because of crohns disease, is Eric Berry from a year ago when he had cancer. I'm not comparing the 2 illness or situations but I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL compared the 2 in their defense saying that there are/were other players with illnesses that didn't resort to using marijuana as well. -

Ohh ok ok, thanks for the clarification guys! I really wasn't too sure but I knew the first time wasn't four games. As unfortunate as this is due to his condition, it's really just an irresponsible move on his part. He has to know better. -

***I'm thinking that this isn't the first time he's been caught? For a first offense it's a 1 game suspension, the second time is 4 games and the third time is a season long suspension. Can someone clarify this for me if I'm wrong*** I have a weird feeling that he was busted earlier this offseason -

This team is an embarrassment.......c'mon man you can't use Marijuana regardless of your illness while still planning to play in the NFL. Just down right dumb. -
McCoy - Best player no one is talking about

If he gets picked up it'll be like week 2, maybe. All in all there's a huge risk with Williams with his weight and with his concussions. He's pretty much one concussion away from being done forever and with the way he runs it's bound to happen sooner or later.

For what the Bills would get in compensation as to the value he has with this team as a back up it's just not worth it to trade him. He's not a starter but there's really not too many QB's out there who are comparable to him. He knows the system and he has rapport with the players.

Kaepernick and the National Anthem
Santana replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Exactly my man! We are all so focused on black and white, when we should be more concerned with wealthy America vs middle class/poor America. This is like if the Bills offense was constantly fighting the Bills defense because one side was getting paid more than the other. When in fact they should be fighting with the owners and front office. -

The problem I have with this whole thing is that it has done nothing to bring communities together, it's only making the divide wider. Do we all know that there is a problem within our country that puts more strain on a certain class of people than the other people yes. The problem is all we do it point out the problems and provide no resolution. There's a bunch of finger pointing rhetoric but in the end there's never a resolution on how to fix these issues. We need to ask ourselves why we are fighting each other, what have we gained by fighting with each other? -

I think the first thing that you have to be aware of is that oppression isn't always smack dab in your face. Secondly I think that in order to understand how oppression works we need to first understand the definition. Oppression 1 a : unjust or cruel exercise of authority or power 1b : something that oppresses especially in being an unjust or excessive exercise of power 2 : a sense of being weighed down in body or mind I'm black but even It's not as cut and even I understand that it's not as noticeable as we think. You won't understand how it works unless you live in an area where unjust treatment is so blatantly in your face that you cannot ignore it. Here's a couple video's from an ex-cop who I really think conveys the facts of what goes on daily in certain areas. https://youtu.be/OPzCodDwvKc https://youtu.be/_rJ4KVVfIaE Now keep in mind, what I think he did was wrong. Not for the fact that he wanted to make an impact but by how he did it. I've never heard of Colin Kaepernick going to inner city, impoverished neighborhoods and helping out. Talking/donating to schools, working with habitat for humanity or anything. Now that he's losing his job and falling from grace he wants to pull out the card? Nahh it doesn't work like that. -
Don't sleep on Glass Goodwin--making a good impression
Santana replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sorry, nothing against the guy on a personal level I know he has really good speed but to me that's all he has. His hands are suspect, he has a really hard time tracking the ball and he can't stay healthy. Every year he does just enough in camp to make the team then he's useless. Done drinking the Goodwin Kool-Aid. -
Idk I kind of think they did Karlos a favor all year and even in releasing him. Karlos Williams probably would've went undrafted if it weren't for the Bills due to his offseason issues in college. I don't think they really said anything that they shouldn't have. He hurt the team and he hurt himself and his family. They told the truth, truth hurts.

Is Cyrus Kouandjio Still a Bust?
Santana replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it was more or less just putting him in the right position. He can't play the right side of the line but more than that players really just need time and consistency in their developmental years. As fans, a lot of times we expect results from players unjustly. Most players need a good 2-4yrs to actually develop into pro-caliber guys. He'll pan out. -
