Why is is 14 - 6 ? I saw the Bills firstTD, listened to the 2ndTD. Did Tex miss the extra point?

Verified- Time Warner is having problems - I am in Rochester/Irondequoit and it is an outage area. Screen froze at 4:40 left in first Quarter and Texan 1st and ten. I just have the radio on now.

At the beginning of each season, I try to be optimistic. I have stopped having any expectation except they will play 16 games. I stopped buying the hype a few years ago. I was wondering how long before I would see his name for 2016. Personally I would hate to come to play in Buffalo if I was Chad Kelly. People would immediately expect him to be Jim Kelly. That is too big a burden on any rookie!

+1 They do not even bother to hide the fact that it is all about the money. In Buffalo, if they want to regionalize the franchise, broadcast the game to the region - at least the "75 mile blackout readius". I get NFL network and feel bad for local fans who do not have it. IMO those red uniforms should be burned.

I only asked someone to sit down one time. We were about 20 rows in the upper deck on the Bills side near the goal line. He was the only person standing, and stood most of the game. The action was about mid field moving away from us, and even HE was watching the game on the jumbo. He was also pretty trashed. I asked him to sit, and he gave me a real eff you look, turned around and stayed standing, even during commercials. He was about twice my size, and was blocking a few people's view. I just shrugged my shoulders and watched the game on the screen when I had to. I have MS and cannot stand the whole game, but I always stand when there is a reason! There is nothing like a live game, so you enjoy the good and try to ignore the dick heads.

You did not come off as an ass. No apology needed. I had three daughters and a son and was delighted when they all had their own wheels! I also had trouble sleeping until I heard them get home.

I was just relating my experience. I would not presume to tell you what works best for you. My main point, which seems to not apply to your daughter, is that many young people expect that getting a license and driving a car is a given. Too many people do not teach their children responsibility. Life is a B word. My children also had schedules that included work, school, and optional after school activities. The world is not that different!

When my oldest was moving out, I told her we had to go to the insurance company and the DMV. I had no idea who might "borrow" her car. When she tried to stall, I told her I could sign the title over to her right then, remove the plates from the car, and call the town about an abandoned car in my driveway. So, I drove with her to my insurance agent and made the necessary changes. We went to the DMV and changed title and registration on her car. I had a few people tell me I was too hard on her. Within two weeks, someone driving her car, was in a hit and run fender bender. On some things with your children, you do not bluff.

During the blackout days, Rochester was in the local market. All stations within a 75 mile radius of the Ralph were prohibited from airing a HOME game not sold out. For this game they decided only one Buffalo station and one Jacksonville station can broadcast the game. They are making up the rules as they go. I will be out of town, so I can't DVR it. I hope the Yahoo servers can handle it. Exclusivity is NOT the way I want the NFL to go.

When the blackout rule was in place this was true, and it was on NBC. Because the CBS station in the Syracuse "market radius" over laps a few bars, several homes a bunch of cows, grapevines, a lake, and a swamp, Syracuse would be blacked out under the old rules for a HOME game that did not sell out. Rochester news said tonight that in WNY, only the Buffalo station can broadcast the game. Buffalo is not even the home team, so they are just making up new blackout rules as they go make money. This is 100% about trying to extend the market to the internet. They are getting their feet west testing this out on two crappy teams. As I said in another post "Ya-Freaking-Hoo". So much for "regionalizing" the franchise! I miss the old days where someone would now tell me that if I did not like the blackout I should just shut up and go to the game. I guess i am not a real fan.

I started with, "I expect they will play 16 games in 2015 regular season" and did not look for a more lofty goal. This actually pisses me off. I will be out of town, but cannot DVR the game because it will be BLACKED OUT in Rochester, NY. It will only be broadcast by Jacksonville and Buffalo TV stations. Now when there was a blackout rule because a HOME game did not sellout 72 hours before kickoff, they extended "local" broadcast blackout to include all the way to east Syracuse stations. Yet, when Buffalo is the VISITING team (in f*cking England), the "local" broadcast rule for home games is thrown away. Ya - Freaking - Hoo! So much for building good will and REGIONALIZING the team. Once again they show us how much they disregard the fans.

It is ironic that the internet, especially social media, is often blamed for making people impersonal, isolated, or "dulled" to the real world. Nothing could be more incorrect, in my opinion. I have made friends here who I have never met except in virtual reality. Some have become friends in the "real" world. Some have been my friends for a decade or two. We have shared our happiness and our pain. My three daughters and son are grown up and are friends with some of you. They have graduated high school or maybe college. Some are married and have children. I have eight grandchildren. We have had some very personal conversations. Parents, children, and even some of the TBD people have died since we met here.
