My yard includes: 16x32 foot in-ground pool with a great concrete patio around it. A nice veggie garden for salads and herbs like basil. Well placed arborvitaes (sp), locust trees, a couple maples, and lilac trees. A chiminea (ceramic) on the deck for small fires, marshmallow toasting and s'mores. Play yard and other equipment that makes it as nice or better than the local town playground. A badmitten or volleyball net set up for the season. A three tiered fountain. A peach tree. I would love to add a hot tub, but wonder how much use it would really get. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to mow and trim, but I enjoy working in the yard.!

I did not know you personally. aside from some PMs, but I will miss you too. Hey folks, Jack Kemp was the QB for 2 AFL championship teams. I remember a B&W clip of him scrambling right, leaping in the air, then (while air-born) throwing and completing a pass that traveled over 50 yards in the air. Believe it or not, I voted off Bruuuuce. It was always about Bruce: it was disrespect, then it was racial, then he had the flu in December, then it was mo'money, hold out through camp, reporting just before the season started.... I seem to remember him dissing the Bills as a Redskin too, but I am often wrong. He was always bitching about something, but DAMN he was something to watch on Sundays!

You forgot beer bongs. You must be old. My daughter was accepted at Geneseo and at a private school (Hobart and William Smith). Since she insisted on living on campus, we could "only" afford a state school. My son went to R.I.T. and lived at home. That cost about the same. udonkey mentioned education expense was a consideration and mentioned UB; I was just suggesting a "state school" alternative near Rochester. UB makes US News & World Reports top 120, as does Binghamton, but not Geneseo, btw. As prokri8 said: it is what YOU put in to your education that matters. No matter what school you go to, if getting !@#$ up is your goal, it will be easy to achieve.

I guess it would be better stated that it is considered an "Ivy League" level within the SUNY system? All I know is that it is VERY hard to get admitted. When babyrock applied several years back, the application rejection percentage was 80-85%. I admit I am prejudiced; my grandmother graduated from Geneso Normal (the equivalent of a SUNY) back in 1917. My daughter and brother are Geneso grads. I am a Geneso drop out - I majored in Par-Tay!

Rochester is centrally located to your stores and SUNY Geneso is only 30 minutes from downtown. Of the SUNY schools, Geneseo is rated Ivy League category. I am not knocking UB which is also a very good school. Are you from Buffalo? I grew up in Hamburg but have lived in Rochacha for the past 25 years and love it. It is about the same distance between Galleria and Carousel Center Definitely would want to be on the east end if I was single in my twenties!
