8-10 point underdogs, we are.
rockpile replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just for ***** and giggles I have a $5 friendly bet with a Patsy fan - he gave me 10 1/2 points. -
Enjoy every milestone, Scott. Every age has its challenges and rewards. Don't let them discourage you with the talk of how quickly time passes. Just enjoy today. Took my granddaughter hiking up a mountain and canoeing in the Adirondacks a few week ago! Rock - father of three daughters and a son, grandfather of FIVE!

Great pictures. I will forward the link to Babyrock, who was also there. That hold on Schobel, was that the "intentional" non-call to try to avert overtime by making it a longer FG attempt, or was it just a very badly missed call?

I would not say they suck, but they are inconsistent at night. Using a 10X optical zoom does not help. You need to close the flash, and the angle and intensity of the artificial lighting means a lot. The closer you can get the better. I would imagine upper deck seats at the Ralph are better than low end zone for that reason. Shaky hands are good for one thing and it is not photographty! -

How do you set your camera for optical zoom night pics? I have been having FITS with that! Great job, as expected. -

You must have had better seats. Seriously, I am happy to hear this! I WANT Losman to be the man. I agree he was much better than the others. -

You lost me man. Is this an inside joke that I missed? All I am sayng is we do NOT have a QB. The idea of practice is to hit a target, right? I am not the Anti-Christ! -

Look, I have been a Bills fan as long as I can remember (and I can remember a long way back). I did not gloss over in the 2-14 seasons, the decade of 70's, and the LOST episodes that have been the Y2K Bills. Why change now? Come opening day in Orchard Park, I will be there in all my colors cheering on my team. Damn kids gotta get over this "instant gratification" syndrome anyway! I welcome comments from anyone else who was there tonight. -
This is really kind of a skimpy camp report, but I decided I would put in as much effort as Buffalo's three quarteRbacks did tonight. All of them were as flat as Olive Oyl's, well, you know! Underthrown. overthrown, intercepted, sacked, uninspired... I am (almost) speechless. We are a team without a quarterback! JP started with an underthrow, an INT and an overthrow. Holcomb needed seven seconds to pass. He cOuld not even find his checkdown man. Nall seemed to think the object was to throw the ball as hard as you can, in the vicinity of the receiver. For you who have been saying we MUST give Nall a chance. He was lost outside the huddle. On a bright note - he hands off the ball well. We did get there late so we got the cheap seats, and the total field view was not great - but I saw enough to know I was NOT seeing enough. This is basically just a bash our QBs post, I guess The rest of the team was looking pretty good. Lionel Gates and A-Train got a lot of action receiving and rushing. Some nice work by the tight ends. Anyone know why Willis was wearing number two? Did the one come off in the wash? He also ran VERY well tonight. Our offense made our defense look like they were an All Star team. I was with babyrock and a friend and we had fun on a gorgeous Rochester summer night. The two lovely young ladies saved the night for me. As far as football, I saw little to SHOUT about. sigh

Just to clarify, I LOVE seeing parents and kids at games. That is what builds the next gen of Bills fans. But don't sit there yakking about the specials at Target while your kids are misbehaving. PARENTS are there to make sure the kids are having fun and learning manners. If you don't want to watch the kids, get a fcucking baby sitter. Rock - parent of four - grandparent of five -
Since I'm aparently not going to see the game

In his post game conference, JP took the "blame". I thought that showed class. Willis was dehydrated and puking on the sidelines. That may be why he ran out of gas on that 65 yarder. Sitting in row 3 of the end zone it was hard to rate a lot of what happened. I do know that unless he gets more consistent, JP will make you dance and then he will make you cry. Put a fork in Holcomb. Don't get too excited about Nall yet. He was playing in garbage time at the end of the game. He is not WORSE than Holcomb, though. Lionel Gates looked good but has to learn that on 3rd and one you charge forward behind your linemen; dancing means you punt. He seemed like his ankle still bothered him. Lindell kicked a squib that was lucky to result in the Bengals starting on their 24 yard line. He kicked another out of bounds and got his ASS handed to him by a coach. On the TD runback after Willis's fumble, JP was the last man - one on two - he made a very good try to angle the return out of bounds. He did not succeed but it was a great try. People, if you are not going to watch them - LEAVE YOUR FREAKING LITTLE KIDS HOME! Unless they are parented like Senor Rubeo watches Ben - they are bored, loud, whiny, annoying, and as irksome as a foul mouthed drunk. Honest. If they were adults security would haul them away. I got to have dinner with Art in RTP, spent some time with #89, stopped by to see Pinto Kenny, bumped into Jay and Ben, and sat with Lori and my brother. Got to talk to Hammer for a minute too. They did a pretty cheezy job on the video they played on the Jumbotron about the Bills Boosters Club. After 45 years they deserved much better! The timing was poor (third quarter) and they had no live cameras of all the Booster filling secton 121. They had a very nice 45th anniversary tailgate dinner. I am a member , but do not get to many events since I am 80 miles away. If any pictures came out decent, I will post them tomorrow <yawn>. -
I will be there late afternoon for the 45th Anniversary of the Buffalo Bills Boosters Club, Inc. The party is at Danny's South for members. Hope to see you in the afternoon, Hammer! Any action planned for Lot One Pole 5? Will Kenny and the Pinto be there? Beer Pong? Bowling Ball Shots? Watch for the Boosters on the Jumbotron. Look for Jay Rubeo's family on the Jumbo too! Hope to have a game report and photos, but no promises!

I was asked to pass this along to you from one of the original columnists at Two Bills Drive when it was just starting up. He wrote Bills Notes and was known as Quoll. I think he may have also been a Spy on the East. Just wanted to pass this along to all the Bills newsgroups for those living near the Buffalo area: Mark Gaughan, Buffalo Bills beat writer for The Buffalo News, will speak and answer questions at 7pm on Thurs, Aug. 24, in a free event at the Brighton Place - formerly the Brighton Library , 999 Brighton Road in Town of Tonawanda next to Kenmore East High School

<bump> ..and I'm on my way... -
I agree, but at the same time I wonder if keeping JP in there and pulling off a win (even a FG), might have strengthened some of the player's winning "mind sets". It's a coin toss. If JP was injured on that last drive, everyone would be screaming for Jauron's head!
