My godson is sixteen and a Vikings fan. I am taking him to his first game for his birthday and our seats are in section 219. I am REALLY looking forward to it after reading this thread. 42 years of going to games and never had a problem. I saw a lot of OTHER people having problems...

I am sorry I missed meeting you! Some of us who get together once or several times a year find it easier to mingle, but you must admit EVERYONE was welcome. There is always room for more!

Are the jobs different or the people? We know the pay is better for her now. I have worked jobs I hated (for a while anyway) when it was my job to financially support the family. If it is a boss, most of the really bad ones do not last long. Make sure the "grass is really greener" at her former job. Did she only leave for the money? Bottom line - happiness is worth more than money (don't listen to Ed ) Good luck.

I resent the fact that they put the name Rockpile on the rowdiest section of the stadium I love fans having fun, but not at the expense of others. Also, why do fans: walk IN the restroom door that clearly says EXIT? piss in the sink? scream obscenities at other team's fans? drink until they cannot stand or until they puke? the list goes on... I am not arguing with any of you. The problem is the PEOPLE not the facility. These things went on in the old downtown stadium 40 years ago. P.S. The Wall section on Sunday had row numbers painted on the steps.

No, he was surrounded by hordes of wannabees and poseurs trying to get on camera. Did get to see "big" Matt from the NYCBBB though. We got to say hello to Kenny, but not really talk. It was "show time". I still am pissed I did not stay and close the Big Tree. Hell, I hardly slept anyway! I think I drank myself sober.

I got there about 5PM Saturday! Went over to Kenny's Pinto about 11 or a bit later. Sorry I missed you. I agree that it did not feel like the "opener" but a lot of things were just not right. Good Things: Bigger tent Silent auction Tagging raffle tickets to prizes to speed up the process Rich in Joisey and the entire CNJBBB for the wings The ticket girls (my daughters) GREAT tailgate shirts and TBD hats Not so good things: Danny's - do they want us there? We asked for the big screen to watch football. They said it was not hooked up, then it was , then they could not find any football, so they left it on ET. Luckily, EZC was tall enough to snatch the "hidden" remote for me and I flipped channels until they got pissed, took it from me, and found a game. The room was NOT ours at 7PM. We cleared it pretty fast (heh), but even though we tried as hard as we could to get that last table of interlopers to leave, they didn't. Did we reserve the room? For the amount of cash the roomful of us spent, we deserved better. The BEST thing about Danny's is the location. Improvement: The NFL needs to have opening day on Week 1 Danny's needs to show us more respect. I tip my hat to you all!

In the beginning of the game, the crowd noise level was very loud. It was a ROAR. I really had no problems with the fans at all. Me? I cannot talk today (no voice). Most around me were screaming at key points, and standing. I wish there were more key points! Not saying you are wrong; this is just my perception from the TBD section.
