I just kept taking shot after shot, because you do not know what you will get! I got lucky a few times. Thanks.

Kodak Z740 with 10X optical zoom. There is another (I think) 5x digital zoom that I rarely use. I can take close ups of people at the podium - 50 yard line - from the upper deck. I added a 1GB memory card. The one that comes with the camera is small and I think built in internal memory holds only about 20-25 shots. I reset the pixels from 5mp to 3 mp since that is enough for an 8 x 10, which is about the largest photo I would ever need. That gives me almost 1000 pictures and I can also shoot video (with sound playback on the camera). This is not an "advertisement" for the camera. I just like the features for the price. To each their own. I do not use the EZ Share software; I set up my PC to "see" the camera as a "drive" and it is easier (for me anyway) to download pictures. For prints - it is hard to beat Wal*Mart 15 cent 4x6 inch prints (19 cents for one hour photo). I can send them to be printed from home, run a couple errands at pick them up. A couple negatives about it: Because of the 10 X optical lens, this is NOT a camera you carry in your pocket. I got a heavier strap than the one they provide. Today a slim camera would have been nice to fit in my pocket since I am going to a wedding. Babyrock is a bridesmaid and Mrs Rock has a HOT outfit. NO, I am not posting photos. Also, I have trouble taking long range sports pictures at night, under artifical light. edit: another problem is lag time between photos - sometimes it takes 2 to 3 seconds to reset for the next shot if you are not in "burst" mode. ------------------- I wish you were coming up for the Dolphins - it would have been nice to see you again, Nick!

What if the Bills do beat the Bears??

Oh Yeah! Back in the late 70's early 80's rooster Robin and the Little Trolls ruled!

I rarely flame anyone, especially when they pose intelligent questions and comments! I do not get in the middle of the "drama queen" BS that is part of learning how to relate to others. There are guys that made my girls cry and I was happy they were cutting ties. You are right in that it was too broad of a statement. (pun intended? ) But there have been times when it was more than hurt feelings. I am not a large guy. I am not a fighter, unless cornered. I am sure half the guys and maybe half the ladies on this forum could kick my butt in a fight. So I am not one of those codgers who wants to rumble with someone who may be thirty years younger than me! One time someone put a real hurt on one of my daughters - nothing physical but unnecessary and emotionally cruel . This guy was a star football player in HS and college, a coach at the time too, and easily twice as strong as me. Hell his arms were larger than my thighs. Without so much as touching him, my words and anger became like a physical force. I made him cry like a baby. He was beaten the moment he looked in my eyes. There are many ways to hurt someone, but only if that is the last resort and well deserved. I'll arm wrestle you though!

I am 53, does that qualify me as a codger? I wear whatever I want unless the event requires certain attire; for example I do not wear sweats to a formal wedding. That said, who cares what a person wears? When a guy is dating my daughter, I want to see what is INSIDE that person. Clothes are a sign of rebellion and part of self discovery, as a younger person is learning who they are. As long as there is respect, I am not concerned with most clothes. I DO think the crooked hat looks like Goober Pyle. I do not like girls wearing slogans on their ass, even if it not provocative, you are inviting people to read your butt! I have told "dates", when arriving at my house to pull up their pants, and remove their cap when being introduced to my wife. If they hate me, I do not care. If they are lucky enough to stay around, they will change their mind. Hurt my girls and I WILL make you cry. Turning on the Wayback Machine, the first time I met my mother in law, I had hair to my ass (in a neat pony tail), jeans with a couple holes (I was poor), and my pickup truck had a local band's "Rock with the rooster" bumper sticker. Twenty-five years later, she thinks a lot more of me.

President Clinton wearing the BILLS HAT today!!

Here is a link. click here I still think Hillary is a carpet bagger, but so are most politicians. If they can get legislation passed that actually DOES SOMETHING, I will be happy. That is how a politician should be judged. -

I guess I DO like him a little better for that! -
Another school shooting, this one in PA

I sometimes wonder if things like this happened "back in the day" but we did not hear about it, because there were no satellites, internet, etc to circulate the news so quickly. This is another reason why I cannot watch or read the news very often. -
I remember Ed Rutkowski as "disaster" QB. I am a better fan than you, too! you know this is a joke, right?

I hope you are not trying to categorize MY politics! I am an anarchist. -

1. Insert catheters after the pat down. 2. Take keys and don't give them back until the game is over. 3. Stop making sense. 4. I am a better fan than you, too!

Thanks. I got lucky on a few of those shots (like Willis upside down). Oh yeah, I am a better fan than you too.

Section 219 is at the opposite end from the Rockpile seats. I liked them a lot! I would prefer the homefield corner to the visitor's side corner - only saw Andre's back. It is cozy - only eleven rows to the top and no one sitting behind you (except enclosed in glass) - there was only one guy trying to pick a fight with a Vikings fan. He was an embarassment to our region! Luckily the Vikes fan refused to be goaded into a stupid argument. It ruined the 4th quarter for him - he was justified leaving early. I have been gong to games for 40+ years and was never hassled. My only worry was that my teenage godson would do something like yell "Bills Suck!" Kids!

I am stilll a better fan than you.

You know, I went to take a picture of the scoreboard, while waiting for the crowds of people that were no longer there, blocking my way in long lines on the stairs, and they had turned it off!
-
I registered to say hello! The graphics are way too busy though. Too much eye candy even when pics, sigs, and avatars are blocked.

What would possibly entice a fane to leave early?

A chip off the old RÛßeÒ, eh? -
I put up my game day photos. Lots of football, a few cheerleaders, a couple tailgating. I did not have an angle to get Andre Reed. Any granularity on some of the closeups was from cropping a 10X optical view, but they came pretty good! At least looking at these is better than arguing about who is the best fan. click here!

Um, when is his contract up? Just need a google search, not a magic eight ball to predict that one.

It's still $50 a seat - $100 a game plus $15 parking for two people. When the kids were younger and all living home that was six people. Who stays home? That would also mean not having Sunday with the wife and other three kids (wife is not a big football fan, but likes the game experience). Just trying to point out that money IS an issue for many, not all, in a small market. Are there enough "locals" to sell the games out? I only travel about 80 miles, door to Ralph, so it is not a big deal. p.s. we did not leave early.
