  1. I KNEW you would appeciate those pictures, honey.
  2. If I may be so bold 1. The pass was tipped, and Keith Ellison got the INT because he was lying on his back and the ball fell into his lap! Not a knock on Ellison, since he was a big part of the traffic and pressure, and was in the right place at the right time, with an assist from gravity. 2. You did not read my report. WTF does the Buff News know, those hacks!
  3. Glad I have the 10X optical zoom (a couple of those were even a bit into the digital zoom frame). Camp pictures would be very hard to take without it, unless I was Cindy - she always gets up close. If I had anything to say about it - the throwbacks and white helmets would be here to stay.
  4. Ooops, let's try Ryan Neill?
  5. Yeah, now THAT was a reality show! A pleasure sitting with you, sweetie!
  6. I plan on many more pics tomorrow, hopefully under the lights. This is just a tease because many shots I took were messed up by people walking in front of me and the odd lighting (shade to bright sun). I wish I could say it was because I was drinking. Link
  7. Not in my report. I thought they both looked fine. I thought JP was the better of the two. They did a lot of short passes to RBs, WRs and TEs, a nice screen, some very well executed crossing patterns to split the zone for 10-15 yards, a couple 5 yards and out to the TEs - HOW MUCH HAVE WE MISSED THAT DIVERSITY? I liked the way they mixed things up. At least two reverses, and lots of work for ALL the RBs to see who will stay. Only problem I had was that bleacher seats suck when compared to the stadium. I was glad they stayed off the turf, though. Someone mentioned the heat index was 28 degrees higher on the turf.
  8. No kicker?
  9. Um, I LIVE in Rochester too, remember? You must have missed the "or don't have the time to physically go to Verizon" I still think it sucks.
  10. Some more tidbits: Spent most of practice with #89 which made the evening REAL cool. The practice was on the grass fields not the turf, which was practical but also sucked. I was really looking forward to the stadium not the bleachers. It obstructed our view of a LOT of what was happening. For some reason, that turf (same stuff at the Ralph) acts like an oven. There was some shade and a cool breeze. I am going back Thursday. My son and I left about 8:45 to beat the crowd. It was getting to be dusk anyway and the grass fields have no lights! * JP looks a lot more confident * "Fast Freddy" Smith looks very good indeed, speedy with stickum hands. * Lionel Gates saw a lot of action and looked fine. * Time to move on with the Joe Burns experiment. he looked slow and clumsy. * Kevin Everett showed me nothing at TE, hope he can make a comeback * Kelly Holcomb looks like a competent backup. * lots of passes to Shaud Williams, Willis, and Gates in drills. * Jason Peters is very efficient on long snaps * Marv looks old. * Roscoe Parrish is a gazelle. Play of the night (for me) JP hand off to Willis, the left side of the line pulls to block for him, BUT Willis catches Peerless coming back against the seam, on a reverse that was perfectly executed and in a game would have been at least a 40 yard run. Peerless has not lost a step. I will try to post pictures tomorrow. Thanks for your report. I heard the "ooooo" from the crowd but could not see what had happened. Hopefully Thursday night practice comes complete with some elevation so we can see more of the action. DAMN nice to be back at camp.
  11. Really, if he does a 360, buy him a tutu! I want the younger quarterback to take us to the Super Bowl and win. It is unrealistic, but you asked what I wanted.
  12. This is about the SUCKIEST way to offer tickets. If you are not in Rochester, or don't have the time to physically go to Verizon on the hottest day of the year, oh well.
  13. GREAT! Now I can concentrate on photos and let YOU write the camp report.
  14. Hansen is one of my favorite all-time Bills, and the only Bill whose jersey I currently wear. When he was a rookie, he was signing 4x7 cards at a sports store. I was wearing an autographed Smerlas jersey. He asked me what he had to to for me to wear HIS jersey and I said "5 Pro Bowls" ? He laughed but I realized it was a lousy joke, by the look on his face. Today I would LOVE to talk to him again, wearing his jersey. Phil Hansen Football Camp
  15. Camp is open 5-10 PM; practice is 7-9:15 PM. That agrees with the printed schedule. (ticketed fans only). Does anyone have conflicting information or confirmation in "real time"? Who else is going?
  16. If it always took 5 seconds, no one would really be complaining. It would be the same as security at any event.
  17. Is that what they mean when they say "winning ugly"?
  18. How come you hicks are always crying in your beer, Badol ?
  19. Hmmm. Chicken Little Syndrome? Will Melissa be working the Xerox booth at the night practice? My son and I will stop over and say hello. Of course my "little guy" is larger than me and 28 years old!
  20. Marv has on of the best poker faces in football. I hope they can get things settled and play football.
  21. Yeas, but Brandon the key word is quick. Getting through the gates at 12:30 is like approaching the Holland Tunnel on a Saturday at noon when six lanes of bumper to bumper become two. The result is a parking lot. As it has been mentioned you are at the mercy of the gatekeepers whims and inconsistent rule enforcement.
  22. ... and Penalty Shots!
  23. IRRESPONSIBLE MORONS will always find a way to show us why we are just a step above the simian. For most of us, especially the out of towners, this just gives us more options and tailgate time with friends. I expect the a-hole percentage will be about the same as always.
