I'm not so sure I agree with you. I think that there may be some hate but by in large that person will be protected. In fact I think even more than the non gay players. Would you want to be the coach that is faced with having to cut the first gay player? Would you like to be the men that play the same position as the gay player, feeling like you'll get cut before they will? I do think there will be whispers and stuff like that, but there won't be an outrage. This person is going to be exalted.

Here's what's on my mind about it (shut up jboyst, haha). What if the said player comes out and then gets cut in preseason cuts or worse doesn't get cut and should have? Or say the gay player gets cut 2 years into a 5 year deal like many many many NFL players do? It's going to cause a storm that no one will be able to contain. No one ever talks about how negative it can be to make such an announcement.

Yeah I'm not saying that's what he meant Big Cat, it's just the way I translated it. He said there's definitely two long term starters, then says the key is to pick the two out, and that's what we're doing now. So he's guaranteeing two starters but admits their not done evaluating. How could he make that guarantee without being done doing the homework unless he's using another source of data? Weird huh?

I agree with you that trading back up is most likely unnecessary, but sometimes GM's here some chatter about a player we're not privy to. Buddy said "there will be two long time starting QB's that come out of this draft, and that's a fact" and the more important sentence "they key is figuring out which two it is and that's what we're doing now". To me this means he must have a stat that says two starters come out of every draft. Now the hard part is doing your work and hope you picked one of them.

I agree with No Saint, in that you've taken quite an aggressive approach to getting your answer. You do know you're not just talking to trolls when you say "you don't care", it's everyone else that you bother. Kind of immature if you ask me. Like No Saint said it's not that you really don't know and would like to, it's that you don't want to take the time to search if the answer is there for you to read, it's you don't care about anyone's time. He's not like Losman at all except for maybe arm strength and mobility. But his footwork is light years better and more importantly his pocket presence. I don't think he's inaccurate either. His receivers drop a lot and I mean a lot of balls. He takes gambles so maybe there's another JP similarity, but I don't think I'd draw any conclusions from it.

Normally I'd agree that you go QB as it's the most important position obviously. But I don't like Smith personally. Dion Jordon will never be there, but if he is I turn in my card as fast as I can. Geno is going to disappoint some team.

I've got to disagree with you here on the arm strength. I see very little torque needed or used. He's got a quick release with natural speed on the ball. He stays on top of the ball where you see a guy like Landry leading with his elbow either to much or too long. Also if you look at Geno he has to crouch down to generate velocity, to me Dysert can generate the velocity and still stand up. The evidence of what I'm talking about his he still throws very hard on the run where Torque works against you.
