  1. I'm not sure about the specific rules pertaining to released players that were still on contract with their previous team and how that changes after they are picked up by someone else? Do the Bills still owe him money and do we still take the same Cap hits we are already on the books for? and before you trolls waste your time saying "this is already in another thread," I don't care.
  2. There is no way Marrone will draft Geno Smith, SU dominated him in the Pinstripe Bowl. Yeah....SU's D
  3. His wife out earns him 4 to 1 and he'll keep making money doing ad's and what not after his playing days are done. This place is in the Brentwood hills, a little north east of where I live, and I can tell you that property taxes in Santa Monica are about 1.5%, I imagine Brentwood is more but at least that much. You do the math....
  4. I think at 8th overall pick we have the ability to draft a day 1 impact player and we shouldn't trade that for much. There is more talent on this team than there has been in years but that doesn't mean we have a talented team yet, can't afford to miss on adding talent like that. So yeah, completely agree with what you're saying
  5. how many "top tier" QB's do you know that were drafted at 8? Especially this year considering nearly every team drafting before us needs a QB and its a very talentless QB class....not to be a homer and s**t all over your post but it's just not going to happen this year. If we take a QB with our 8th overall pick it will be a reach and a waste of a pick. With that said, I'd love to have Rivers
  6. that is interesting. I'm on the same wanny hating we need to blitz more wagon as you but this never crossed my mind. I'd like to see some stats about total 20+ yard passing plays, blitzing or not, against our defense and against Houston's.
  7. You're both correct, Spiller would go around there but RB's are dime a dozen after you get past the elite and even the most average of RB's will perform with the correct blocking and play calling. Very thought provoking thread... I think the Bills would be able to do it, if other teams are drafting to build a franchise and we're drafting to build the same team we had then I think we have the advantage, we might not be able to get Fred and CJ though
  8. he's been on the PUP list for 6 weeks this year and his first game 2 personal fouls and a $23k fine....he had big hopes out of college but from the little i know about him i don't think he's turned into much of anything
  9. I've actually read Greg's book "Lockjaw" so I found this pretty cool. He definitely seems pretty down to earth and I know he's a big Buffalo city and sports supporter, check it out: http://mikegamms.blogspot.com/2012/10/mike-gamms-interviews-author-greg-ames.html
  10. Gotta agree, players seem to love it, it gives them a venue to interact with fans on a group basis. It's the age of Social Media, I hate twitter and think the "#" is as LAME as the next guy but is it anymore LAME than anyone here on this message board that spends all day talking about how much they hate ______ (insert anything.) And sorry, anyone that puts time and effort into generating money for a charity, especially Roswell, is not LAME.
  11. Where can a guy find the link to the next 3 parts, that was a cool read.
