  1. The day Marv Levy and Wade Phillips left the building.....Since those guys have left, we have absolutely had no pass rush, unable to run the ball consistently and make the big plays when it matters.
  2. And the Pats could very well lose tonight at the Colts.
  3. Let us not get carried away...The knock on JP was the inability to complete the short passes and move the chains... I don't think Edwards is the problem with this team. May be he believes too much in his team mates to help him out....Our WRs sucked.....Our #1 WR was bottled down the whole day...He could not make a single game changing play. I wish they had put Parrish on the game ending play, he may have got the TD.
  4. McNally was equally bad....Who we really need is the guy who went to become the OL coach of the Steelers...When he was here, he was the coach for the tackles and it showed in the play of Peters.
  5. I think it starts from the middle on the OL...They need a good center....Until they have one they will not be able to run the ball. They need a DE who can rush the passer....Greer will be gone to the highest bidder come Feb.
  6. It is too early to give up the team making the playoffs. Good teams find a way to win and bad teams find a way to lose...We did it exactly that last two weeks....Jauron seemed to go for the 4th down when a FG would have been fine and went for the long FG twice (got lucky once) when they could have gone for the 1st down especially in the 4th Qtr. The Defense has no identity. They needed a stop and yet gave away a 8 1/2 minute drive. Bizarre penalties ruined the game....I thought the punt fake was a great idea...only for SCott to be called for holding. Edwards took too many sacks...May be he believed his OL will be able to pass protect like they did 2 games ago....This indicates a lack of adjustment by the coaching staff and Edwards...If Jauron and the Bills had taken what was given to them, they would have won the last 2 games....Unfortunately it was the Bills that self-destructed themselves. I think it is still too early to call it off....The Bills will be there at the end if they can get their act together...Today was their 1st loss at home...If they can win the remaining 4 at home and take 1 road game, they will be ok.
  7. We will still be tied for 1st place if the Pats lose to the Colts today at Lucas Oil Stadium.
  8. Agree,....Trent took too many sacks today....The WRs never got open and our interior of the line just could not handle the pressure from Jenkins.
  9. Left way too many points in the Jets Redzone.... And when the game was on the line, the D allows a 8 1/2 minute drive by the Jets for a FG.....
  10. Too many penalties.... Too many sacks... Gave up empty handed too many times in the redzone
  11. all with zero timeouts. That 4th down call by Jauron is back to haunt us.
  12. ST is playing well.....It not Moormans fault if SCott is called for holding..... ST & D has played well and kept it down to 6 points...The offense instead of scoring 10 additional points has given 10 pts to the Jets score.... Where is Lee Evans....He disappears in all the important games.....
  13. I hope Edwards forgets about that fumble and comes back strong
  14. Agreed 100%.....Plus the breaks just did not go our way....The last 4 possessions of the game ended in turnovers, especially when the initial difference was only 1 point. It looked like the Dolphins wanted the game more than us today.
  15. Disagree....When you are that close and even if you don't make it, the Dolphins get the ball on their 1 yard line....The D could have made something happen there...Worst case you get a punt back in good field position.
  16. Exactly....In fact that is how Mike Tomlin got his job with the same Steelers who had instituted the rule...THe Steelers were all set to (or close to) making their former OL coach as the HC after Cowher and then when they invited Tomlin to satisfy the Rooney rule, he blew them away that the Steelers chose to go with Tomlin rather than Russ Grimm. It definitely helps them.
  17. Unfortunately Hardy has also not seen the field much except for the Arizona and Oakland game, when they went to him early and he dropped quite a few. He is going to learn by playing, not sitting and watching. At this point we need a second receiving threat that can score TDs...Josh Reed has not been that. The closest is Roscoe Parrish. Unfortunately you cannot use Roscoe in the middle of the end zone (nor even throw into the endzone). Good teams have a good 2nd WR that can score TDs....The Bills better find one fast.
  18. We beat the Chargers last week and if we could 2-1 in the next 3 divisional games with one of that win coming against the NE Patriots, people will pay more respect. The 2pt spread is really giving us a 5pt edge with 3pts given to the home team...The Dolphins are no pushovers at home with big wins against New England and San Diego. I expect this to be a competitive game, especially when our D has been so-so.
  19. They are always perfect if we WIN.....TKO was considered the greatest Pickup by the Bills and it seemed to be good when we opened the season with a 31-0 slamming of Tom Brady and the Patriots with TKO himself getting a sack and fumble....However, by the end of the season, no one was saying the same as the Bills sunk to a 6-10 record (or 8-8 I forget).
  20. Here you go...... List of Items Permitted/Prohibited at RWS
  21. The Bills have to take care of Ronnie Brown and Joey Porter...They have been the mainstay of this dolphins offense and defense. It would require lot of discipline from Poz to contain Brown. Peters and Walker have to play to their full to stop the NFL leading sack master.
  22. Currently, our #2 WR Josh Reed has 0 TDs to date and our #3 WR Roscoe Parrish has 1 TD to his credit. We definitely need to improve our scoring with our #2 and #3 options.
  23. In the first place, I have no worries, as I am enjoying the ride.....5-1 after 12 years sounds very sweet....... I hope the Bills had addressed the TE position in the off season in Free Agency. Tennessee still has to play the Colts/Jags/Texans in the tough AFC South and also has to play the strong NFC South. They are bound to lose some of those road games.
