  1. High School games end before the snow starts especially in West Chester PA
  2. The same people lived with Roscoe Parrish for 'what' like six or seven seasons and never saw him blossom into a true outstanding receiver for this team. He was always the 3rd best WR on this team.
  3. I also believe different countries have their own laws regarding gaming and prizes won from gaming. For example, if the prize was a car, one of the foreign country may issue that the game organizer would need to pay for all the import-duties and taxes and not put the burden on their tax payer. Secondly, I believe a business competition is a way to spread information about the product and also to get your email ID and telephone. These are typically regional.
  4. Dansby will get between 4-5M a year a 50% pay cut...I don't see him taking any less. One of the teams will pay him that money for a 2-year contract. Why? Do you need have lunch with him or something ?
  5. +1. The only perceived difference between Barkley and Naasib is that the later has a stronger arm. However, Barkley has played in a pro-style offense for 4 years and that is a big advantage. Either pick will work for the BIlls. They just have to bite the sniping from the ESPN Talking heads and pick one of these guys at #8 as both will not be there at #41. In fact, one or both of them may be even gone by pick #8 if the GMs play a different game tonight.
  6. +1. RIP Larry. It was good to see Larry pushing to get all those super starts of the 90s into the HOF. He succeeded with most of them, just couldn't get it done with Andre.
  7. But Wallace had Big Ben throwing the rock....TJ had Fitzpatrick throwing stones at his feet except for that one time against the Patriots.
  8. That! I love my work for what I want to do...I simply hate when money gets in the middle..... Did NIKE Pay you to say that And he had great difficulty winning the big ones against Tom Brady!!!
  9. And this is the first year in many years, where we don't even have a consensus #1 overall pick. The chiefs are yet to contact any player to discuss a contract. This is simply going to be one of the amazing drafts where all GMs are playing their cards so close to their vests that even their wives/GFs have no idea where they are going on the 27th.
  10. I don't know how one can get Barkley or Manuel in the 2nd round...There is Kansas City, Jacksonville, Oakland, Philadelphia, Arizona, Jets and Cleveland in front of us in the 2nd round (We only pick 41st)...If one of those teams jump and get Geno or Nassib, I don't know how Barkley will get past any of those teams (especially KC which will run a WC offense)
  11. +1. I can live with that. This board is going to explode when the Bills pick Barkley. I think there are plenty of doubters on this board regarding Barkley and his skills.
  12. He is 31 and asking price might be 8M/year range. Once he and his agent reduce their requests I am sure multiple team will want his services.
  13. The teams that are in best position for trade down or the ones from 25 to 32. A lot of the top-10 teams that need a QB would like to ensure that they get their QB of choice and will not wait in the 2nd round to get them. They are going to fight over each other to get to one of those late 1st rounders (and there by making the rich teams more richers) to draft their QBs. All the action is going to be at that spot.
  14. The only problem is the salary expectation. The guy was cut from the Dolphins because his per-year salary was $8M. Now do the Bills have enough cash to make that kind of commitment?
  15. The one thing going for Palmer in Cincinnati was that he had a great group of WRs and TEs. Even their 3rd WR was a star.
  16. That is 30 drafts ago! And if I remember there were 4 QBs picked in that draft too!! Patterson is a 1-year wonder. Nix prefers seasoned starters...Patterson will not be in a Bills uniform, not after being severely burned by the Maybin pick
  17. The big question is: Does the Jets and Bills have their hopes pinned on the same QB ? This will be a fascinating draft to watch. Can't wait until Thursday Night (Sorry, Friday morning for me!!!)
  18. And next year we have to probably pony up for Wood and Spiller. May be Nix won't be drafting in 2014! The reason the trade happened (for the Jets) because they need to come out of cap jail and they couldn't afford 15M a year for Reevis (at least against their salary cap). May be next year, when Sanchez comes off the books, but Revis did not want to wait until next year. For Byrd, it is simply a regular situation and the Bills need to deal with it appropriately. The biggest thing would be is: Does Byrd want to play for this organization for this coaching staff. If answer is 'yes' then re-sign him else, we ship him to the highest bidder. +1. And if teams wanted a starting safety, they could have signed Ed Reed in Free Agency (or have Polamalu for a draft pick).
  19. This is exactly what Nix thought during the past two drafts and it cost him Kaepernick, Dalton and Wilson. A guard is not a game changer. A QB is. +1. The talk that there are no franchise QBs in this draft is nonsense. If you go back to draft history you will find every QB having their own weakness, but the good ones being able to overcome that. This year is no different.
  20. The Ravens gambled on a similar reach with Flacco five seasons ago and traded up to get him. If you like a QB and are sure that he will be gone at #41 (when you pick second), you don't wait. You simply make that pick at #8. The chance of getting another player at #8 and succeeding with him is the same as getting the QB.
  21. There were also many questioning (including myself) the Spiller pick....Spiller is a superstar and this team lacks super stars.
  22. And I think that is why neither Wilson nor Kaepernick would have succeeded here, because Gailey would never have put them in a position to succeed running the cottails of Fitz! Time will tell. He is the best of the lot. Will he be successful in the NFL? Who Know!
