2013 Pro Bowl Balloting: Mario, Kyle, and Byrd Elected.
ganesh replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
sort of like the KC of last year....They had the worst record but sent five players to the PB. -
I believe when there are more than TWO teams with the same record, head-to-head doesn't count. What is counted first is either their conference record or record against common opponents....I think our AFC record is pathetic having lost to NE, NYJ, CLE, PIT, KC, CIN. The losses against CIN and KC (both at home) will hurt us very badly. Sadly they were winnable games and we had full control.

That's what I meant...If he is not healthy, he is going to be phased out and if he is, then he will more than likely be the slot WR.
-
 Let us jump on the bandwagon....Oops...Sorry Forgot that I am already on the bandwagon!!!
-
' I think Goodwin will be challenging Graham for the starting spot opposite Robert Wood as SJ is either phased out or moved to the slot.
-
Actually Richardson has been playing extremely well over the past few weeks, while Kiko's play has tapered off.

Why is this always a comparison with Geno Smith.....Both are rookies making plenty of rookie mistakes and and some mind-numbing plays. In week 3 Smith was better than Manuel and in Week 11, Manuel turned out to be better than Smith. Both are mistake-filled QBs learning the tricks of the trade in the NFL. I hope that both go on to be franchise QBs for their respective teams.

He could turn out to be our Mike Wallace when he was with the Steelers. I think Even Eric Wood had a bad game against the Run last Sunday. He was getting pushed around. The Jets have a fantastic front four.

Has anyone taken notice that

One of the impressive facts about this defense is they have given up FOUR Rushing TDs through 11 games...That is quite impressive. Only the Panthers have given up 3 Rushing TDs. (There are a bunch of other teams with 4). -
This is hindsight thinking....Talib would never have signed with the Bills. He was going to play for a contender. TJ played worse than Kolb. We unfortunately lost Kolb to a concussion. That is the way the game is played. There is no guarantee that TJ could have escaped the injury bug...I just don't see how we could have been 9-2 with those additions.

And we lost to them by 10+ points. We are yet to win in Foxboro (Lifetime at Gillette Stadium). Our defense will be primed against Matt Ryan. The game that scares me is the two road games against Tampa Bay and Jacksonville. This Bills team has just been very inconsistent and I do not trust them yet to put a string of wins together.

[closed]Bills Best Playoff Scenario Chance

Peyton Manning struggles against the Patriots. The game is in New England. The Patriots are not going to lose two in a row. -
Bill, There are many ways in which the Bills have lost games that they should have won this season...Case in point....Kansas City.....There was a 14 point swing at the Chiefs one yard line that pretty much sealed the fate of the game. Then go back to Cleveland....If Manuel does not get hurt, we win that game....Tuel was horrible in that game. or the game against the Bengals in which special teams stunk up the joint and gave up a 30 yard punt return to allow the bengals to kick the winning FG. The point is that the LG is not the only weak spot on this team and we have lost ball games due to miscues in so many other facets of the game.

My apologies to Kyle Williams & the D-line

The problem with KW and Dareus is that they are INCONSISTENT. They cannot put two games together where they can harass the QB. -
Hey...he just said "Blue Friday"....The Bills wear as much blue as the Blue-And-White Colts!

Marrone to Spiller: Get in the O Line's face
ganesh replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
+1. The problem was they had to decide to pay Byrd or Levitre. They chose Byrd. Unfortunately, they could not close the deal with Byrd. They gambled and lost on both. -
I don't think the OL is to blame completely for yesterday's dismal run game. Firstly, the JETS are #1 against the RUN. So it was going to be hard to run the football against that front seven. Secondly, they were stacking up the line with 8 in the box and daring the rooking QB to beat them....Manuel failed that test in week two and Passed with flying colors yesterday. Finally, our RBs are hurt badly. They are not finding the holes and getting into the secondary.

I doubt it, especially when the teams are not in the same division. I presume that if there is a multi-way tie (more than two teams) then they simply will start with Conference Record before anything else.
-
Actually, the Steelers and Cleveland need to lose at least two so that they are one game behind us. If the teams are tied, then the head-to-head will come in and we lost to both of them.

The problem are the losses to AFC Foes....Bills have lost to Steelers, Browns, Jets, three teams that are fighting for that last spot with us. We would have to have one game above them to get over the head-to-head losses. Those three losses and the losses to KC, Cincinnati and NE also hurt us. Even if they don't make the playoffs, if they finish strong in the 2nd half of season (like going 6-2), they will set themselves up for next year, assuming they can retain their defensive starters. The Jets, like us, are a very flawed team and do not yet have a strong QB. They are more likely to lose to the hot Panthers. JAX and TB are road games and are not gimmes'. The only good thing is that our defense can put pressure on their rookie or inexperienced QBs. THe question is can Manuel be CONSISTENT for a five game stretch. That is asking a lot out of your rookie QB who has missed significant time during the season.
