  1. With him leabing it's safe to say there I little to no chance he really signs here. He's the most coveted player out right now... You don't visit as long as he did, not sign, take other visits and then sign with the team he left. I am sure someone will dig up an anomaly where it has happened, but it's def an indication he wasn't won over.
  2. I never understood the point of acting like you have sources on a message board.
  3. Where are all those people with sources that said he signed?
  4. With McCoy apparently recruiting, who knows.
  5. I have looked everywhere to see if there was an offer made or just a visit.
  6. Where does it say he turned us down? I saw he came in for a visit, doesn't mean we offered anything. Maybe we didnt like something and decided not to offer at this current time.
  7. Persistent, I'll give ya that much.
  8. Yeah, what was the end result of that again?
  9. Exactly! This is what gives me confidence in the orginzation is moving in the right direction. While it's not a huge splash that most fans love because the media will galvanize the move and give the team coverage. However, these subtle moves this late in the process help sure up a roster.
  10. Dont lump me together with people like that ever. That guy is the exact definition of a troll.
  11. Not saying it's the fans fault, but I have learned very quickly how this fan base works. The first ones to call a player a bust to then being the first ones to champion that same player the very next day. Meaning the same ones that loved the Rex hire are the first ones to bash it. I'm not a rex apologist by any stretch, there were a lot of issues here, and they went well beyond Rex. We didn't lose because rex was a load mouth. We didn't lose because Schwarzt was not retained. What were they supposed to do, make Jim the HC? Once Marrone left that all but sealed his fate. I mean, listen if you want to pin the last two years solely on Rex, by all means I don't give a rats ass. It's just ignorant.
  12. BB record with the Browns before he was hired by the Jets, then Patriots? A lot was going on behind the scenes between the front office and rex. Not an excuse but there were stories about the FO drafting players that Rex never wanted for example. Most notably Stephon Hill. Sound familiar? While Rex may not have been the best hire, there were few with his playoff resume on the market. Fans were tired of the Jauroun/Gailey types. Fans didnt want another college greenhorn. Fans wanted a splash and fans got a splash then were pissed they got wet.
  13. Can't have a cultural change without including everyone.
  14. Sounds like they needed something to write about. Injuries are part of the game, a lot of these kids are so busy with off field nonsense leading up to the draft, they aren't training as much as they should. Then they get to the camps and tweak rhis or tweak that.
  15. Was also told, when McDermott was hired Whaley was in control. We saw that quickly not to be true. You can piecemeal whatever you want with media speculation. However, even if something was said on Monday, doesn't mean that it will hold true on Tuesday. To me Whaley was clearly a well regarded eye for talent. Was groomed to be a GM, and who knows if he ever got to have full control or not. We do know that, thay said eye for talent never traslated into a winning culture here.
  16. Tyrod him self said his agent spoke to teams at the combine. Not officially, but they absolutely knew the interest around the league. I sincerely doubt anyone would have given him a deal with term or security. I have been told that this is exactly what Tyrod wanted and him and his agent won't this negotiation. Either way you slice it, buffalo isn't making a major roll of the dice with Tyrod. They shaved off years for a reason. They structured the money so that they could walk away easily for a reason. Barring some miracle run by Tyrod, I would strongly suggest paying attention to the potential specs coming out in the 2018 draft. Newton was far from that come draft time. There were plenty of detractors with him only having one full season of Division 1 ball. Yes, he played at Blinn and dominated, but there was plenty of sceptics. As far as Luck, he was the "generational" talent, and even then some thought RG3 was the better PROSPECT. Funny, now there is a debate if Winston/Mariota are better than Luck.
  17. Tom Brady lost to the Giants twice because the pressure they were able to generate. Even the best QBs in the game can struggle when there is enough pressure.
  18. He struggled because there were players in his lap all game.
  19. Stevie Johnson. Laugh all you want, he's one of the better WRs in Bills history considering who his QB was.
  20. You have one example in two years.
