  1. JASPER the GIANT!!! Teddy was the mount Jasper is the Giant Let's hope that we can develop this guy and he makes the roster, at the very least the practice squad. I also like the idea of short yardage fullback. Ill even give him a carry every now in then. This guy should get a yard that's 6pts on the board.
  2. +1 All I can think of right now is when Buddy Nix took over for the Bills at his presser he said ( we need a big strong Qb that can throw threw those winds ). I'm just saying it sounds like Mallett or Kaeps... If we don't take a QB then we need to take a hard look at Brooks Reed or Bowers... It feels like christmas. Fellas let's keep opening these gifts
  3. Best case scenario is if we take Dareus at #3 then at #34 we go OLB/DE Brooks Reed or Justin Houston... If we go Von Miller #3 then at #34 we go DE/DT M Austin, P Taylor or Paea.... Id sign on to either one of these scenario`s right now.. Instant upgrades for our defense
  4. +1 He has all the tools. Just doesn't seem to me that he knows how to use them. I was looking up his game logs and one game stuck out in particular was the Texas Tech game. I don't have the exact numbers but I know his completion percentage was aroun 40 percent for the game. That's just plain awful against one of the worst Defenses in the country. I don't care who has to throw to...
  5. NE will lay down on purpose. Belicheck will make the rational decision. Which is to lose and not have to face Andrew Luck for the next 15YRS or win and face Luck 30 times for the next 15yrs. I believe Bellecheat will tank it.
  6. The Bills can circumvent the cap rather easily, if it is re-instituted. All they have to do is release some guys and their cap figure will be applied towards the cap, even though they don't really get paid a single cent by the Bills. This strategy was utilized often by the Bills' front office when there was a cap. We always had dead money going towards our cap figure. Another way to avoid spending up to the floor of the cap is to heavily front load contracts. The salary cap is a crock.
  7. We go 2-13, New England lets us beat them in the last game. We end up picking second overall and missing out on Andrew LUCK. The Bills are always one pick to late. Story of our lives
  8. Congrats to Terry Pegula for winning his first ever Playoffs game as Sabres owner, I know it`s only 1 win, but i feel like the Sabres are heading in the right direction. It all starts at the top fella`s, and it just seems like whatever T Peg touches turns into GOLD. It feels good to know that we have an owner now that is just as passionate about our team as we are. I hope he buys the Bills, if he does, he can become a legend in Buffalo. The man just knows the core values of running a professional sports franchise and that`s scouting and building threw the draft, and he is not afraid to spend some money. Everything first class, players love that. Like he said during his presser (I want players to want to come play in Buffalo). I don`t think Ralph has ever said that. Bottom line is that Ralphie runs the team like a business. Wilson, Littmann and Overdorf are the crypt keepers. Make no mistake about it, they have sucked the Bills nation dry for years. Pegula would of never let Polian go.. So Thank you Pegula for buying the Sabres and good luck making the city of Buffalo a place for Champions...
  9. No, no no no no. Before the players decertified one of the key issues that they agreed with the owners was to implement a rookie cap. All teams know bout this and will act accordingly. Remember these rookies will just be drafted in April, but they will not be able to sign any contracts with the teams that drafted them until the labor deal is completed. And believe it there will not be any football next year if a rookie cap is not implemented first.. So take it for what its worth. ROOKIE CAP IS A GUARANTEE
  10. With the rookie cap coming into play this year, teams will be more willing to move up. The lower the signing bonus, the lower risk. I can see the Pats trading up in this scenario The Pats have a young core of great players and will be facing a dilema if they were to use all there picks. They have 7picks in the first 4 rounds. 4 picks in the top 60. ( 17,28,33,60 ) the problem they will have is that they will have to much talent, and they will be forced to make some tough cuts come september. NE can trade up for a number of different players to name a few. Peterson, Dareus, Quinn, AJ Green, Von Miller. This will be my favorite scenario. We trade are #3 for there 17, 28, and 33. That leaves us with picks 17,28,33,34. #17-Ryan Kerrigan= edge rusher can play multiple fronts 3-4, 4-3 hybrid player #28-Phil Taylor= true Nose tackle. I call him Raji 2.0. #33-Justin Houston = let's go D again another hybid type player. I would love to see this but its more likely the Bills go RT here Gabe Carimi or Marcus Cannon. #34-Ryan Mallett or Kaepernick. I would take Mallett, and I'm still holding out hope that Buddy opens up his eyes on this kid but at the end of the day Kaepernick is a better fit for Chan ball. This scenario fills multiple needs for us and makes a lot of sense. I would do 10 back flips if we can pull this off
  11. Correctamundo, I dont know why everybody is trying to find the next Arron Rodgers, He is the complete package, and players like him do not grow on trees.. I guess its because the NFL is a copycat league, but usually the teams that are copying never get it right. WE need to start to create rather than copy, otherwise we are gonna set ourselves back years
  12. Mallett wont be ready for at least 2 years, that gives our OLine time to develop properly. I think were gonna have one of the best Olines in the NFL by that time.
  13. We need Defense with that first pick, Then in the second i would go with Mallett or Kaepernick, those are the only QB`s that i like in this draft. Ponder is a good player, but he has way to many injury concerns Let`s remember guys we play in Buffalo, windy windy brutal weather stadium. Like my man Buddy said when he got hired. WE NEED A QB WITH A STRONG ARM THAT CAN THROW THREW THOSE WINDS. Cam Newton is not accurate now and will never be in Buffalo!!!!!
  14. That`s why Newton is a big time reach at #3. He will always be a run first wildcat type QB. NO Thanks
  15. Mallett is a pure pocket passer, can make every throw. He has some problems resetting his footwork in the pocket but under Chan`s tutelage he should have that fixed. I wonder u say he is a statue and i agree, here`s some other statue`s that he reminds me of Phillip Rivers, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino. Pocket awareness is easy to learn. Tom Brady was the same way. These are the type`s of QB`s that win SuperBowl`s not those Runner Type`s Here`s my prediction Mallett will be the best QB in this draft class. And he will make multiple probowl`s
  16. So Chan is in Arkansas today, I really hope Mallett lights it up again. Second round pick would be excellent value Hopefully Newton tanks it today.
  17. I just cant see what all this hype is about with Newton. The man is not accurate and cant read a Defense, he can run and that`s bout it. Last time i checked these Newton type QB`s never win the SuperBowl, so what`s the use of taking this kid. Upside? Upside is another way of saying that said player stinks now but might turn into gold. that hardly happens... And please i don`t want to hear any comparisons with Big Ben. Newton is NO Big Ben not at all. Big Ben completion percentage coming out of College a whopping 70plus Newton under 60 percent comp
  18. We need a new identity, i`m tired of other teams leftovers. Its time to draft some new blood. Bowers and Phil Taylor would be a great start throw in Casey Matthews in the 4th I used to love me some Williams and Ted Washington wall, when it was a short yardage situation, u just knew we where gonna blow it up
  19. Al Davis trades up with us and gives us his whole draft including his next 2 years first round picks cause he doesnt have one this year Al Davis created crack. He would do this
  20. I`ll take that offer quick, Jerry would do something like that We need to pump so new blood into our Defense badly Newton is gonna be straight trash, did u see that pass to the sideline at the combine/ I mean C`mon man. that pass floated 20 yards over the receiver head. Looks to me like a better conditioned J Russell
