No MORE READ AND REACT Coaching
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would like to see us follow the NY Knicks way of bringing in Vets that know how to win. To complement our core players. #1 QB- either trade or sign for Alex Smith and sign Chase Daniel to be a backup and in the draft take a QB like EJ Manual or Tyler Wilson maybe even Nassib even though i don`t like him to much. Depth chart will be Smith, Daniel and Rookie QB #2 RB- i would like to see us sign a Brandon Jacobs type big short yardage back. Spiller, Fred and Jacobs #3 WR- this position is pretty weak other than the top guys available. I would like to see us go after Jerome Simpson he fits the mid level veteran type we should be looking for. Stevie, Simpson, Rookie, TJ Graham, Nelson and maybe our coaching staff will know how to use Marcus Easley. #4 OLine -Donald Thomas or Brandon Moore will give us some nice depth on the line. Considering we sign back Levitre and bring back all our starters from last yr. #5 TE - either Fred Davis or Brandon Myers would be a nice addition. Davis/ Myers, Chandler and Lee Smith #6 DLine - Bring back all our guys except for Kelsey and sign a DT like Shaun Cody, Rocky Bernard or Aubrayo Franklin #7 LBs - This position is really weak this yr but a guy like Urlacher ,Manny Lawson or Rey Mualuga or Keith Rivers will be nice piece to challenge for a starting role and we should bring in a couple of rookies, Alec Ogletree would be a great pick if we can trade back in the first round. #8 DB`s - I`m hearing that Antoine Winfield will get cut this offseason his cap # is about 8mil. I would love to sign him. I still think he has a solid yr or 2 left in him. at Safety we sign back Byrd and go get Laron Landry or Louis Delmas. #9 Kicker - we need a new kicker i like Phil Dawson or Bironas. SO fellas what u think? -
Well fellas we can say now that we will no longer waiting to see what the other team is doing and adjusting to them. I believe we will be setting the pace to the other team being aggressive on both sides of the ball. Not to say that we won`t adjust at all to what other teams are doing. That`s part of football. I just feel like Chan relied heavily on that read and react coaching. With this new coaching staff i see a more aggressive forward thinking cutting edge approach. I got to give Russ credit so far he has delivered on our new philosophy. This is what cutting edge forward thinking is i`m on board... Now lets see how we round out this coaching staff and what type of players we go after in the draft and free agency. I`m hoping that we do what the Pats did in 2001, when they signed a bunch of mid level free agents ( Ted Washington, Vrabel, A Smith and a few other players. I believe that`s what we need to fill out this roster quality depth rather than breaking the bank on 1 guy.
-
Let`s steal some players from the Jets. Laron Landry would be a nice addition at SS or Yerimiah Bell . Both of these guys can knock someone into next month. We haven`t had a hard hitting Safety since Kurt Schultz. Landry and Byrd would be a great combo

We Need To Make a Splash at DC
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
obviously u dont know. if promote a coachto asst HC he can leave his team. Btw we made our Splash Pettine -
Now that we picked up Nate Hackett for OC we should have plenty of money for our DC. If Ray Horton doesn`t get a head coaching gig then we need to go all in and hire him. WE can make him asst HC and DC and to make sure we get him we need to pay him top dollar if we have to. I mean offer him highest paid DC in the game money. Horton has done some really good things with the Cards D over the last 2 seasons. Since he has gotten there his Defenses have been top 5 in sacks and turnovers and last season finished #12 in total yards allowed that`s pretty impressive considering there O was horrible and often put there D in bad situations. If we cant get Horton then we got to go hard at Eric Mangini or Kevin Greene someone top notch maybe even Lovie if he doesn`t get a job. I know Kevin Greene doesn`t have DC experience but i believe that would be a fantastic coach. He is another Dick Lebeau disciple KG was a baller in the NFL and a very smart player. The Man has that fire that we have been lacking at DC. He will gain respect from the players instantly. All i know is whatever we do at DC please do not hire Mel Tucker or that over rated Rob Ryan. Make a Splash Russ didn`t u say u wanted to hire world class people

Bills hire Doug Marrone to be Head Coach
NastyNateSoldiers replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here is my wishlist for Head Coach: 1. N. Saban 2. C. Kelly 3. B. Arians 4. R. Horton 5. L. Smith 6. B. Kelly 7. D. O'Brien 8. D. Marrone 9. K. Whisenhunt 10. M. McCoy I guess 8 out of ten ain't bad! I don't really know enough about the guy to be happy or angry. He was 8-5 at 'cuse, in a weak conference, but was considered a success by some considering where Syracuse has been pre-Marrone. He was New Orleans OC in name only, much like Joe Philbin with the Packers. I'm indifferent. Don't know what to think. I'll take the wait and see approach before I blast this decision. -
i was thinking the same exact scenario. but if we cant get hue we should go get Norv Turner. we should also hire Brian Daball as run game oc and Sparano as Oline coach. This team needs a great staff im on boarda
-
this combo works for me, and on the plus side we wouldn't have to worry bout Norv leaving cause he will never be a head coach again.
-
Lovie can also pick bring Urlacher with him to be a mentor for our #1 pick Teo. I would also love to see what Lovie can do with Dareus.. Lovie made Henry Melton a baller at dt imagine what he can di with Dareus and Kyle. maybe we can also pick off that Bears talent tree possibly sign Tim Jennings when he becomes a free agent
-
Norv Turner or Hue Jackson would be perfect oc's plus we already have the oline and backs. We need to put together a great staff this time. Maybe we can also hire Brian Daball to be our Rb's coach and Sparano as our oline coach. There are some good positional coaches this yr. Plus Lovie can bring in his defensive and special teams coaches not to mention Rusty Jones aka the secret weapon. I believe this would be the best we can get

Kyle Shanahan and Geno Smith = The perfect combo
NastyNateSoldiers replied to SBUffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The guy we need to get is Roman OC 49ers, This guy is innovative runs multiple sets both in the run and pass gm, The 49ers play that physical brand of football that we`ve been lacking in the last 10plus yrs. Roman has also been a key in the developments of 2 QB`s 1 that was a bust #1 overall pick ( Alex Smith ) and Colin Kaepernick the unpolished kid from Nevada. So he has the track record of getting the best out of his players He can also bring in Smith with him to ease the transition and i say draft 2 QB`s. Draft anyone of those QB`s in the second round, there should be plenty options Landry, Wilson, Murray, Nassib or Glennon. Also in the 3rd round i would take Logan Thomas from Vtech. If he decides to come out. We can develop that kid for a couple of yrs and see what happens. This kid has talent but just needs to be developed. Roman is a bright young coach. Reading his bio he has coached alot of positions TE`s, QB`s, OL, Defensive quality coach. So he is well rounded on both sides of the ball. But his bread and butter is the running game. They even went as far as saying he is a genius in designing running plays.. With our Backs and Oline we will be hard to stop. HIRE Roman -
[I suggest a trade for] Alex Smith
NastyNateSoldiers replied to djsabres's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or Greg Roman -
I would love to get T'eo in the 1st round. Then trade back into the first for Landry Jones. He's gonna be the best QB in this draft. Also in the fifth round I would draft AJ McCarron. He kind of reminds me of Brady when he was at Michigan. I just think the Alabama offense is not catered for QB's and this kid will be a steal for any team that takes him

Hire this man now! Doug Whaley as GM
NastyNateSoldiers replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good Job really, u call 4-7 in his 3rd yr a good job. Like I said before if u count his picks other then the first round let's say 2nd and 3rd rounds those are the money picks he has done a terrible job. Cordy Glenn has been his only good pick in those rounds in his 3yrs with us. That's 1player out of 6. He continues to pass on talent at almost every other positions other than RB. Arron Williams over Kaepernick or Dalton should get this man fired right away, or maybe it was Terrel Troup over Gronk or Daryl Washington or how bout CARRINGTON OVER GRAHAM. WOW we could of had both Gronk and Graham instead of Carrington and Troup. Wow, wow wow, what VISION WE HAVE. WHAT A GREAT JOB BUDDY -
Who will be HC next year?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We can include Marty in this discussion 2 but that would make to much sense for the Bill. Given that we could of kept Fewell the last time we needed a coach and hired Gailey as his oc or even Marty. BUt I guess Buddy just wanted to give his friend Gailey the job. -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perry Fewell or Marc Trestman there probably the only 2 guys desperate enough to take the job -
I got a hundred on the sell the team billboard. All Bills fans need to push this issue. No more buying jerseys going to games nothing till we get a NEW OWNER! How bout a blimp flying over NfL headquarters, Espn studios the NFL network and the Ralph. That would get some major pub

Who will be HC next year?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The writing is on the wall for us and everyone knows it. It almost seems to me as if this team is being major leagued. This organization is so inept that it seems like a setup at times. I mean C'mon man how can u take a corner back in the second round that has no flexability and seems like a better fit as an average safety then a Big smart storng armed QB that can run like a RB and is very intelligent Kaepernick scored over a 40 on his wonderlic test. Not to mention that the refs never call the game fairly when we play no matter what. I never seen a Dline that gets held like ours and we never hardly see the call. I'm used to it now. Today when we forced that fumble on Wayne the refs didn't even bother to review it as if it was to much for them to do. That's there freaking job! WTH IS GOING ON ON THE NFL ITS SET UP -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ray Horton DC from Arz. That's another Pittsburgh connection. He's a Dick Lebeau deciple. Zone blitz 46 D. I wouldn't mind this guy either just hire him a good OC and we are set -
I couldn't agree with u more. When the Hell is this team gonna understand that u need to take QB's early in the draft not CB's. Colin Kaepernick was the prototype QB for Buffalo and Chan's offense. What are we allergic to Big Strong armed accurate QB's that can run like a RB. This miss in the draft is the reason we as an organization can't compete in ttoday's NFL. OUR gm has his head stuck up his azz when he says u can't have enough corners in this league and that he would take 1 or 2 early in the Draft every yr.I think its the other way around Buddy. U can never have enough QB's.

NastyNateSoldiers replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
David Shaw from Stanford, He took over for Harbaugh and has done a great job coaching. He has them in the top ten even without Andrew Luck. If we want to go young under the rader coach this Guy should be considered.
