I realize the Bills have needs obviously every team has needs and no team has ever won the Super Bowl with a perfect team. Jeremy White and WGR have lead the Wr train this off-season and I feel it’s gotten out of hand . It’s borderline annoying and can’t help but think these guys don’t know anything about football . If u look at the last 25 seasons or even more u will see plenty of teams have won the Lombardi with less WR talent then what the Bills currently have. This idea that we need a Wr in a horrible yr for that position in this draft is insanity to me. Most of these guys are slot type Wrs and u don’t take slot Wrs in the first or second rd of the draft. I’ve been doing some research on Super Bowl winning teams and the most common denominator of those winning teams other then QB is in the trenches the lines so to speak and other then that it’s the identity of those teams. Those teams for the most part if not all had a physical identity and a aggressive mentality scheme wise . We definitely know the Bills are not Super bowl caliber in the trenches and we are definitely not Super Bowl caliber in physicality or schematically. With that all being said i believe the Bills should attack this draft in the trenches and the good news is it’s not a bad yr for Oline or DEs . I know I know we’ve wasted pks on Basham and Epenesa recently but I hate to say it we need to keep drafting edge or even interior players on defense and on offense with need more offensive line. To quote Doug Whaley the Bills have put themselves in somewhat a purgatory position when it comes to the lines the players they have are not bad enough to be outright replaced but also not good enough to be the difference in a Super Bowl caliber team. We are basically middle of the pack in those spots and middle of the pack doesn’t get the job done. It’s on McBeane now to identify these needs and realize we must get much better in those areas and to cancel out the noise from the Bills fans and media about going Wr early in the draft and continue to build at the LOS.

"We can't get an impact WR in the 2nd round"
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Most of the best Wrs in NFL are drafted after the first rd . It’s kind of like the running back position when it comes to value in the draft but hardly anyone talks about it. U kind find great Wr’s threw out the draft. -
Good work Gonzo 👍🏽. I wouldn’t mind this mock at all for the Bills , Kincaid is a weapon easily my favorite TE in this draft and Simpson if used correctly has star potential in the NFL. In this scenario be nice to get Yaya Diaby and Mingo with our next 2 pks.

Seems like flights to Buffalo are always delayed happens to me often leaving from Miami/Ft Lauderdale airports.

DHopkins would cost a 2nd round pick...would you do it?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
True but I still won’t give them a 2nd for him. Jalen Ramsey is a much better player then Hopkins and he went for a 3rd . I would offer them for 4th this yr and a 5th next. -
Didn’t they just win it all without Tyreek? Don’t get me wrong I love Josh but I was just referencing to the poster that critiqued the Giants pick of Barkley instead of Allen. Not that I agree with what they did but u can’t mention that without mentioning what the Bills did by trading Mahomes the year before.
-
I can’t admit happily that I was wrong about Josh myself I hated him coming out of Wyoming. There might not ever be another QB that developed like him again. If I remember correctly most of the Bills mafia wanted Rosen . 😳

Believe it or not Mahomes was my favorite QB I ever scouted . I thought he was a no brainer pick and that wasn’t hindsight it was vision . I don’t work for any NFL team I scouted him from my computer. 😂 Plural bud they don’t even have a Gabe Davis on there team. Don’t tell me MVS or the ghost of Juju either.
-
So your saying we didn’t possibly trade what could be the greatest QB of all time for a CB and a late first? U buy that crap because I don’t. We got lucky with Josh because if we didn’t get him the organization would be in flames right now and every post here would be about us not taking Mahomes that year. It’s always the right time to take a QB especially when u don’t have one.
-
Yes he has KELCE but we got way better Wrs
-
I would trade Allen and Tre for Mahomes any day and twice on Sundays . I love Josh but he’s not on same planet as Mahomes . Plus Mahomes will most likely play 5/6 yrs more then Josh does this trade is far from over I my eyes . What in was referencing to was we choose to wait on a franchise QB and took corner instead it’s basically the same thing the Giants did with Barkley instead of Allen.
-
How about us we traded Mahomes for a CB I know we got a couple picks more out of that but KC won that trade by miles.
-
Should’ve never drafted that scrub Singletary either rather have taken Pollard in that draft . People don’t realize how much Singletary really sucks as a player he never took advantage of the lightest box in the league and when we needed a yd it felt like ten . The 2021 playoff game vs KC he was a big part of that loss not converting on a couple short yd plays . I’m glad he’s finally gone.

If the Bills get Bijan all these fans will lose there minds until they actually see him on the field slicing up those 6 man fronts and making life a lot easier on Josh. I don’t think Bijan will make it to us I would love to get Tucker in the 4th or 5th rd he’s gonna be great to and would absolutely kill it in our offense.
-
Yup and only 2 of those teams had a Wr drafted in the first .
-
All teams have needs the Chiefs won the Super Bowl with one of the worst Wr cores in Super Bowl history . If u really want to get down to it it’s the QB and the trenches that make the biggest difference in the NFL and if u just look at the Super Bowl winning teams u will see that . The most common denominator of winning Superbowls are great QBs and Lines play. 1st rd Wrs hardly ever win the Superbowl even in this modern day game the Wrs that have won are usually later rd pks like Tyreek Hill or Cooper Kupp . Mof since 2008 there’s only been a few 1st rd Wrs that won the Super Bowl Mike Evans with Tampa and Demariyus Thomas but that Bronco team didn’t win because of there passing game Peyton was a shell of himself. I know u got all these needs listed but what we really are missing is Superstar talent and that’s across the board not just at a few positions.
-
I know one thing for sure not all YPC are equal if u average 4.4 yds per carry facing 8man boxes and another RB does it predominantly with light 6man boxes are those 2 RBs equal ? This is another thing analytics don’t account for is offensive balance yeah u can try to pass on every single play but without the threat of the run pass rushers will tee off and secondary players will get a feel for what your doing. The Steelers tried this concept of throwing the ball 50+ times per game a few yrs back but it didn’t help them in the later part of the season as they were figured out and although they started that season 12-0 I believe they didn’t get past the wildcard round .
-
You really wasn’t wrong about Sammy he was turning into a superstar until the injuries started . He was zapped of all his speed and burst and never recovered. Ade Adebawore is a beast!
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly he needs to be moved around no doubt about it. I think by yr 3 he would be a force in this league. If there’s a good tackle on the board like Darnell Wright u take him but if not these Wrs are not worth a first this yr . In a draft like this take the players with the most upside and there’s few that have the upside that AdeTommy Adebawore has! -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
So your telling me a 5,8 Wr that weighs 170lbs can help us? Because that’s Flowers size? He realize he will get redirected in his routes on the NFL level at nausea and don’t think about him being a consistent outside Wr vs man press coverage he’ll get his lunch handed to him. I agree with need Oline help but all indications from Beane is that he wants to give Spencer a chance. If u really think about it Spencer has not even had 1 good off-season yet as a pro . The first yr he was getting ready for drsft and last season he was hurt maybe now that he’s healthy he can finally develop into the player Beane projected him to be when he was drafted. -
Ade Adebawore is a beast!
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hated the Arron Maybin pick to but Ade is different he ain’t just fast he’s a freak with strength agility burst long arms he has everything u want in a player at his position the only thing is he’s short at 6,2 but with that wingspan it will make him harder to block because he’ll have the leverage coming from a low center of gravity think Aaron Donald. -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Most here think I’m crazy with my projection but if Ade gets to the right team and they develop him properly he will be a beast . That burst and first step is undeniable he also has real power . Yes it’s gonna take some time for him to refine his pass rushing prowess but once he gets it there’s no looking back. All the people here comparing him to what we have already have no clue. If u watch his footage he covers ground quickly and uses his burst and speed to track down running backs on outside runs . I think he’s a great fit for the 4-3 unlike others here that just have him as a 5tech in a 3-4 . I believe if a team starts him at 4-3 End and kick him inside on pass rushing downs he can be an absolute force. In the senior bowl he was a man amongst boys bullying olineman pushing them back 5/6 yds with ease . Like Gunner said he’s dangerous on stunts and twists . Ade was on a horrible team at Northwestern they really never had chances to tee off on pass rushing plays because they were always behind .
