  1. Golisano would be a temporary owner motivated by profit. I like the idea of Pegula, younger, richer, with more monopoly money.
  2. If I were the owner I'd put a guy like Tony Dungy in charge as GM and have him get a coach that meets the following criteria: young african american high energy intelligent capable of handling adversity experienced in NFL understands the history of football With that criteria I'm inclined to look at 3 guys: Perry Fewell age 50, Raheem Morris age 36, Huge Jackson age 47.
  3. Since the 1990 Bills are really the first Bills team I saw live I gotta say '90 Bills. Bruch Smith would destroy Vollmer or Solder it wouldn't matter. Cornelius Bennett would also be coming at Brady. Darryl Talley would make things difficult for Gronk. As for Welker I believe Nate Odoms would be all over him in the slot. Mark Kelso often unheralded would be too smart to give up the deep ball. Jim Kelly with 2012s head in 1990s body would be booze free and smart enough to hand it to Thurman when Belichick dropped 8 into pass coverage. I think the X Factor would be Mark Pike & Steve Tasker on ST. Scott Norwood hits the game winner - Bills 27 Patriots 24.
  4. Living down in the South I can simply ask a few of my friends who are die hard UGA fans their thoughts, & have already done so. While they like his poise and arm they feel he underperformed in big games. Now extrapolate that to New England, Miami, & the NY Jets. Personally 6'1 QBs scare me.
  5. Here's an idea for a shirt: a lone stick man in the upper deck of the Ralph with a caption titled "December football in Buffalo".
  6. Tebow equals a joke. If OBD gets him it's just an attempt to sell the tens of thousands of unsold seats we have in December. Tebow is a freaking side-show clown circus. If he keeps it up he'll have played for every team in the NFL in 10 years. All the while "rescuing" ticket sales and selling "Tebow" #15 jerseys. He's nothing more than a towel waiving Merriman clone who should be banned to the sidelines. Probably will be a great coach like Harbaugh someday.
  7. Gotta give Marcell a pass for 2012. He's gone through hell and back. I hope he makes it through this season without injury. Could anyone imagine what would happen if he tore an ACL? I don't think he'd ever recover judging by his mental state, and recent comments.
  8. And Dareus is 23, Aaron Williams 22, does it mean they will be better by 25? When these guys reach 25 and still have major question marks what tricks can we teach them to improve their game? I think we've seen the best of Tebow in college. Last season Tebow completed 47% of his passes - driving his receivers nuts, and reinventing the limitations of the forward pass to the era of leather helmets. Tim Tebow could be a good H-back, tight end or Linebacker, but a Quarterback he is not.
  9. No thank you. I used to think Tebow had a chance at developing but it's like they say, "you can't teach an old dog new tricks."
  10. Mario 51 sacks on grass in 68 career games - .75 sacks per game. 6 sacks in 19 career games on artificial turf - .32 sacks per game. This year 4 games on turf 0 sacks. 3 game on grass 3.5 sacks. Could it be Mario is just better on grass? Judging by his career sacks I'd say yes! Robert Mathis & Dwight Freeney are classic examples of ideal turf edge rushers - fast, bendable, short 6'1 low center of gravity. Mario is the classic combo end not quite as good as Julius Peppers but similar in size and sack method, power and hands. Julius Peppers if you run his numbers has been better on grass than turf as well, but only marginally. 116 games on grass 80 sacks - .69 sacks per game. 39 games on turf 23.5 sacks - .60. If Mario put up .09 less sacks per game on turf like Peppers he'd have 12.5 career sacks vs 6 or double the sacks he has now on turf. The Ralph's playing surface should be converted to grass to give Mario the best chance for success. It is the difference of .75 sacks per game or .32 sacks per game.
  11. Depending on severity and treatment method we are looking at up to 3 months (10-12 weeks). If Buffalo addressed this in the preseason Mario would be coming back right about now. http://ericksonhandsurgery.com/patient_information/sl_ligament_tear The fact that Buffalo was fined for nondisclosure shows the level with which they attempted to conceal his injury.
  12. I'm all for a domed stadium with a glassed wall overlooking lake Erie or Niagara Falls. In all likelihood the Ralph is the end of the road for Buffalo, unless Ralph & Co. look to the future.
  13. PRIDE, EFFORT, ACCOUNTABILITY, PROFESSIONALISM.
  14. 118, 150, 33, 247, 311, 182, 197. Opponents RUSHING yards the first 7 games! If they could at least take away the run I'd be happy. That's right give up 600 yards passing, but don't get run off the field. Our defensive effort in stopping the run is pathetic.
  15. In order to pay these huge bonuses Littman & Ralph are betting against the Bills & Fitzpatrick is complicit being the Wall Street Ivy League clown from Harvard.
  16. We are so bad against the run its not even funny. If people are playing hurt get em off the field, if not hurt cut em! They are a crap run defense. I could live with 400 yards passing if they prevented teams from running but we aren't. If Wanny wants to impress me he will devise a gameplan to neutralize Foster & the rest of the Texans run game.
  17. Fitz's interception was not smart. Quite stupid pass attempt on the pick.
  18. Dude look around of you don't have an elite QB, or a healthy team you are going to struggle. If we suck we get a high draft pick and can use this on a QB who can complete a pass over 20 yards in the air.
  19. Chan is 3-4 with the best talent he's ever had. If we can go 7-9 we might make playoffs this season. Outside of the division leaders the AFC sucks.
  20. You do realize an owner can live in LA & still operate the team in Buffalo. I mean Ralph has been in the Motor City since Eisenhower was Predident! Haha!
  21. Fitz is a loser whose played for 2 of the biggest losing organizations in the history of the NFL: Cincy & Buffalo.
  22. A grass surface would cost a lot less than a new stadium. I'd do it might be worth the investment.
  23. Marcell's "It's just football." quote however correct displays where he is at mentally. No one can blame him for thinking this way. No matter what Dareus does on the field he will never see all te family members he's lost. He may be gravitating to food as a comfort mechanism. If I were the Bills management I'd have him talk to a sports psychologist. God knows where he's at mentally.
  24. Dareus could easily be 330. He's been eating too many wings. Our local food is killing our team.
  25. That's because he's too good. We are hiding him on the practice squad.
