  1. I've taken a beating today, but really hope folks don't forget the 2 Chandler drops, & the Atevie drop on the slant.
  2. There were a number of teams we could have traded up with to get a higher pick, think RGIII, 2004 draft,
  3. No accountability Culture of Complacency Ineptitude era
  4. I don't think he is "jealous" of others success. Do you not see the irony of W Bush giving a tax keynote speech at an Investment Conference "tax haven" in the Cayman's 5 days before the election.
  5. Obama 332 - wins PA, MI, WI, IA, NV, NH, OH, VA, CO, VA, FL Romney 206 - wins NC
  6. Maybe we can keep on drafting Alabama players and convince Saban to bring his ass up to North and coach Buffalo.
  7. I was reading some of his posts on "the twitter". Dude is underated and had put together 2 good seasons. He's a tall Josh Reed, dependable, good hands, good blocker, good teammate.
  8. They won't go past 94. Wannstedt puts 8 in the box and gives Moore & Carrington big PT. We will get shredded thru the air but that beats getting run over.
  9. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/10/31/pffs-mid-season-all-afc-east-team/ Here is Profootball Focus midseason ALL AFC EAST Team. Representing Buffalo: CJ, Levitre, Kyle Williams, & Byrd. Surprised to see Miami's returner Thigpen edge out McKelvin. McKelvin has 9 punt returns for 216 yards 24.0 avg. & 1 td with a long of 88, and 10 kickoff returns for 320 yards - 32.0 avg. - 0 tds with a long of 59. Thigpen has 14 punt returns for 200 yards 14.3 avg. & 1 td with a long of 72, and 15 kickoff returns for 420 yards - 28.0 avg. - 0 tds with a long of 87. Offense Running Back: C.J. Spiller (BUF) With 7.3 yards per carry, 23 forced missed tackles in the running game and a league leading 138.5 Elusive Rating is there a more dangerous back in the league than Spiller? Guards: Donald Thomas (NE) and Andy Levitre (BUF) Remember when this was home to all the top guards in the AFC? Yeah, that changed quickly. Thomas gets plenty of criticism, but his play has been better than most have realized. Levitre hasn’t always got the most movement in the run game, but has had a decent start to the year. Defense Defensive Tackle: Randy Starks (MIA) and Kyle Williams (BUF) Again, two guys who earned themselves honorable mentions as All-Pros to this point in the season. Starks has been superb all year — as he has been pretty much his entire time in Miami. Meanwhile in Buffalo, Williams has been a one-man band at times, making up for the disappointing play of his teammates with his usual relentlessness. Safeties: Reshad Jones (MIA) and Jairus Byrd (BUF) Byrd is one of the few safeties out there who really plays like he can change a game. Jones may be developing into that type of player after a difficult sophomore campaign.
  10. Why would fans invest in the Bills if they can't count on them being around in 2013. Until a deal is signed I expect the worst.
  11. And like a failing Wall Street bank the Bills get tens of millions of dollars per year from other members of the league and the tax payers of New York State. Without this "corporate welfare" our Bills would be in another city. The only way we can compete is if we change ownership and start winning. We need an owner with deep pockets and a willingness to lose a lot of money for the first five years.
  12. He needs to step it up. If he can't get up for Houston then we are doomed.
  13. Given Buddy's drafting track record, I'd prefer Bowe. Look no further than our 2nd & 3rd round picks since 2010. 2010 Troup & Carrington, 2011 A. Williams & Sheppard, 2012 Glenn & Graham. Troup has been a bust due to a lower back injury, Carrington doesn't even start although I think he's good, Williams is the worst starting corner in the league, Sheppard is average, Glenn is a stud & Graham is not a #1 or #2 receiver. Dwayne Bowe would start on day 1, matched with Stevie we could be dangerous. Also Bowe knows Gailey's offense having been around in 2008. Our 1st round pick should be a QB either: Geno Smith, Landry Jones, or Matt Barkley judging from what all the "experts" predict.
  14. Dwayne Bowe should be on Buddy's radar. I'd give our '13 2nd & 3rd round pick for the guy.
  15. Geno Smith looks to be the man who will get drafted #1. Being a Notre Dame fan I was impressed with Landry Jones arm. Doing more research on Jones you'll find he's also the prototype in size 6'4 230 and a decent athelete. I would have liked to see a Geno game between now and January. The kid at Kansas State reminds me of a better Tebow, which means we should pass. Barkley is alright but is height 6'2 & weight 230 is the same as Fitzpatrick. I will hold my judgement till after the Notre Dame defense gets him. I suspect Landry Jones will end up with better numbers and pass the "eye ball" test when compared to Barkley.
  16. This weekend I actually used Sunday Ticket as it was invented....130 New England kicking St. Loius' butt (game over)...1:31 Jets getting dominated by both Miami's offensive & defensive line, 1:50 Pittsburgh kicking RGIII's butt...2:00 New England increases their lead can anyone cover Gronk & has Brady been touched gotten dirty?????2:30 Man my friend from Philly texts me he isn't watching the Eagles game tune in to see Vick turning into Captain Checkdown - game over...3:00 Cleveland is hanging on in a monsoon slugfest similar to a Bills vs Browns game...3:15 Wow the Panthers suck...3:30 Reality sets in for Jacksonville...3:45 Depression sets in as I realize Miami, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, all are the Wildcard favorites. 3:50 make a spreadsheet of their remaining games & Buffalo's trying to find if/how we can sneak in to the playoffs...4:00 more coffee...this is tough considering Bills are going to be 3-6 in 14 days...Solution Bills must go 3-0 vs Miami & Colts, and can afford to lose one game to either NFC left on schedule to go 9-7 and have a slim chance at #6 Wild Card seed. 5:30 Dallas sucks....6:00 Giants are going to blow it...7:30 Romo returns to to form with his 4th pick. 9:00 - Why did the Bills not go after Peyton Manning??? 9:10 Eric Decker & Demaryius Thomas are better than Stevie - guess that's why...Drew Brees has got to be kicking himself for not signing that 1 year tender as the Saints look to be reverting back to NFC South doormats and Atlanta is younger at about every skill position. Brees in a San Francisco or Arizona uniform in 2013 would make great sense.
  17. Given Houston's potent rushing attack it would be nice to see us "sell out" & commit all of our resources in stopping the run. I'm talking put 8 men in the box and let Gilmore matchup 1on1 with Johnson & McGee/Rogers/Williams matchup on Walter. Put Wilson on Owen the tightend and the rest in the box including Byrd. I'd rather give up 500 yards passing then give up another 250 on the ground.
  18. I've already voted on NFL.com for, Levitre, McKelvin, Spiller. Kyle Williams & Byrd would get in if we weren't so bad on defense.
