    1- defense, coaching being the major problem at the moment 2- bad offensive play calls in critical situations 3- average QB. We fix #1 and #2 and we could easily make the playoffs. Fixing #1 might improve #2.

    My take is..... Currently, we have some talent, but Def coaching is not very good. When fewell was here, we had good coaching, but no talent. I think this describes the trouble with the Bills.... They can't seem to put together talent and coaching... It seems they can't identify what type of problem they have in the heat of it.

    i pretty much agree. i would be on board if it was a Trent Edwards situation where we were putting up 9 points per game. However, there are so many other teams that have QBs that throw a lot of INTs and they still win because their defense can limit points, stop drives..

    but why? do you guys think tjackson can put up 35 points and not throw interceptions? If so why is he a backup on the Buffalo Bills and not starting on another team, or even backup of a more successful team?

    The reason for losses... pretty simple i think.. 1- Bad defense (mostly coaching) 2- HC makes bad play calls at critical times... 3- QB is average and not able to overcome #1 and #2 like maybe a Drew Brees would. I guess the problem is fixing all these things. i REALLLLY wish we never dumped Perry fewell.

    I think most of us agree. The D sucks and the qb is average. Not a winning combo. An average qb and a good D can win often. A great qb and an average d can win too... We have neither.

    they should not have scored. They sure as heck should not have had such a short field. Bad defense, bad play calling, bad special teams(Punter).

    Is the assumption that he was hiding an injury to ensure a healthy contract? I don't really get this investigation.

    Losman was terrible. yup, to the bench. Edwards was terrible. So yeah, bench. Fitz... not terrible, more so just not good. Behind him in the locker room there are two others guys who are not good. I'm not sure at what point you bench someone who is not good for someone who is not good..... that is if we're looking to improve, not just change because we can.

    i don't understand these threads... Who is going to step in? Are we going to fly to Denver and kidnap Peyton Manning and make him play for us? We don't have an elite QB because we couldn't get one... Why would we start people lower in the depth chart? It would be a lateral move or step down for sure.

    My question is... what if we were able to draft tannenhill? what would the professional Fitzbashers complain about all day when our team is still 3-3 or worse today?

    positives: Defense played well, held a team to under 50. yay no interceptions negatives: some bad play calls. Hopefully someone inside brings this up to Chan Fitz not accurate but he's the best we have. We must make due. I think we can win more of the remaining games than a lot of Bills "fans" think. Solid defense is most important.

    Great win. Still not elite, we know this. What we need to do i think... improve / Keep defense playing well Not make stupid play calls like throwing a bomb instead of running down the clock and playing defense. I've always been 100% behind coaching and the sometimes gutsy calls, but there were a few in this came you just can make.

    100% agree. I've never criticized play calling ever but the brad Smith pass was so so bad. Run out the clock.

    i agree. It's so easy to blame a loss on a QB for not matching other teams that net 50 points against us. However, i will say that Fitz is definitely not elite and if we did have a chance at an elite QB, we should definitely go that route.

    non of these guys. all lateral moves or downgrades. Matt Flynn might have done it for me if he didn't get beat out by Wilson this pre-season.

    lol, i can't believe people actually do this. How big of a loser do you have to be to actually go on twitter and insult an athlete because they didn't get enough points for you in a FANTASY league? However, i guess there is a need for people at this intelligence level, or else there would be no one to hand me my coffee out the Tim Hortons drive through window....

    good teams win with balance. However, they never win when they allow 500 yards per game and 40-50 points. With Brady, Manning(s), Brees all on our team at the same time, throwing to 4 Larry Fitzgeralds... we still get blown out today. FACT
