    yep, we need a better defense. coaching first, then patch the holes in talent. It will pay dividends.

    i don't think there is a college QB worth starting in place of Fitz. i say draft defense first again and get a new DC. I also think we need to hire a dedicated OC. That or move chan to OC and hire a new HC. I'd feel either would be acceptable. Buffalo could be the next San Fran. why not?

    I don't know..... as I watch nyg vs pit. Eli throws a deep ball..... no where near accurate but the giants are good, right? Makes me think.... coaching? Has it been coaching for 10 years?. Or talent for 10 years? I guess just the org is not good at putting together good coaching and talented players.

    I felt OK. I started the day expecting 52-7. I'd say today was a success.

    I don't know..... run the ball.... better defense. I really think we need a hc and a def coordinator. I don't mind Chan being either of these... but we need both. We need a new DC. Watching this pit vs nyg game..... we need a defense. Defense.

    I probably agree... but.... you have to at least try it. The defense must at least believe that the ball could go 40 yards and maybe by chance accidentally hit somewhere near the receiver.

    I would agree with this....but maybe with a 'good' defense... average might be pushing it

    I would agree that Fitz isn't a surgeon with the deep ball but I really think 50% of the problem this year is that the deep ball play isn't called. I would rather see missed deep throws than none at all.

    1- play calling not great 2- wildcat go away please 3- qb is still average(along with the other qbs on this team) 4- d still not great Summary.... bills are not great. We need to get an elite qb.. we need a better d. This is not ground breaking stuff.

    Yeah I mean this game showed that the Texans are superior offensively, defensively, and in special teams, coaching included. T Jackson in this game means we lose 21-9 IMO.

    already lost only because the defense had given up a horrendous amount of points. I do hope someone else does start QB. if the team magically becomes great, then I'll be happy to be have been wrong.

    But why? Fitz had the most TD passes up until before the bye right? What kind of spark are we looking for? I don't get it. Today we faced a dominant defense. Simple as that.

    just fix the D(coaching most importantly). I say Gailey doesn't make as many questionable play calls if he can rely on defensive stops.

    i think they will beat houston. If i say this enough times about good teams they will win one.

    yeah i think there are a few in above average who could be just 'average' i'm not sure yet about some of the below averages.... S Bradford needs a supporting cast still IMO and gabbert, tannehill, weeden, too early to tell.

    Both are to blame, probably equally, but.. INTs are a part of the game. Teams can win if QBs throw INTs. Teams do not win with a non existant defense.

    D sucked last year... Why would anyone blame the equally sucky defensive play this year on a single player added to the roster? This thread makes no sense.

    I've always thought Orton was decent, throws the ball pretty good. i felt that he was sort of like cutler, can be good, can be bad. Better than Fitz? please omit the "anyone is better than Fitz" comments if you can.
