Sounds like anything but solid coaching to me. "Well, I tried my deal and it wasn't working so I tried another coaches' approach and that didn't work so...". We had our best chance in 30 yrs to make the playoffs and he screwed it up. We are not going this year either,now 31 yrs and counting. Superior in one? OK the dline accounted for a lot of sacks, curious though, who had all those int's for us. The dline!? Weren't we top 5 in int's?

All he said was "We blame Rex for the bad coaching job he did last season". Sure, we had injuries. So did every team, even the playoff teams. And if you think Mario alone caused our d to suck, wow! Having said all of that, Rex did have a really bad year coaching us last season. Hopefully you can see that. Too many excuses for such a genius to need.

I wouldn't blame reading comprehension, just a difference of opinion. IMO Rex should get the bulk of the criticism.
