  1. Dareus dropping into coverage again and the Cowboys completed a long one on the play.
  2. To anyone at the game; what's the mood like? What are fans feeling?
  3. If that was all we needed,no. But we need way more than that. Watch a rebuild of the d start this off season. I'll call it blowing it up.
  4. What would you call it if we have to rebuild the defence to match Rex' scheme? Hint: BLOWING IT UP. I'd rather let Rex go and find a coach who, oh I don't know, coaches maybe. You get 2-3 maybe 4 years to keep a good group together and we wasted 1 already. If he stays we will rebuild/blow it up and probably won't be as good as what we have now, or had.
  5. The defense should be ready to go from the 1st snap. They should be out there trying yo prove they are as good as they think. Hopefully it's a clean game by a focused Bills team. Can the coaching put them in the position to do it? Bills 28 Boys 17
  6. It's gonna be pretty interesting to see how the d will play this weekend. I would imagine they would be pumped and ready to try to prove themselves a good d. Hope the coaching puts them in position. Man up guys! Bills 28 boys 17
  7. Pegula is smarter than that, right?
  8. This would be the main reason to keep him. Lord know we need leaders in that locker room.
  9. Sure he's complained about the scheme and lack of cohesion. Also, being this late in the season, lining up so late and subbing so late on d is ridiculous, as he mentioned. But in reading different articles, it seems the LB's are complaining about the same thing. Preston Brown wears the headphones to get the calls and he said the same thing. Too late in the year for late calls and players not knowing what is going on. Even slow tempo teams are speeding up on them because it creates confusion to a poorly coached defense. In addition to Brown, we have db's flat out denying claims from Rex that they lack confidence. I've read comments from Kyle saying just let us go and we play well(can't find the article), not to mention Marcel commenting on similar issues with late subs. So, all 3 levels of the d have had comments on this and Mario is the whipping boy!? I don't care if he gets cut or not. We could use the $ elsewhere since we're rebuilding this defense(that's a whole other issue), but for this d to be this confused this late in the season and players running onto the field just before the snap is bush league and this coaching staff is responsible.
  10. If the Bills had the top 5 d they should be, they would have at least 3 more wins, even with injuries. That's on Rex, not TT. JMO
  11. and a lot of "smart" football people who use it as a crutch.
  12. Every team deals with injuries. The Pats are on like their 10th left tackle, 8th rb , 9th wr, etc. I could go on with the Steelers and other teams. They don't have a clown as a coach. I would add the last two-thirds of the season were still on this clown of a coach.
  13. The real reason the defense has struggled:
  14. To all: be safe and enjoy your family and friends.
  15. Hope he looked in the mirror first. He's really good, but he's a winey B word. I've seen him give less than full effort on more than 1 occasion.
  16. I sense a pattern here.
  17. Ugh, I saw that too. But wanted to leave it alone.
  18. Dave, I'm with you on this. Many did play hard. You didn't say all the others did. I just feel 1 person shouldn't be used as a scapegoat/whipping boy, or whatever we call it. But if we are going to find 1 person, Mario is not the one, it's the person who somehow turned this d around 180 degrees, and not in a good way. JMO. (no offense, man - you chose that! I've done some dopey things and posted dopey comments in my time. All good.
  19. Go back and watch the other guys out there. Again, my point was some on this board found this year's whipping boy, when there is plenty of blame to go around if some want to find 1 player to blame and not Rex. That's all my point was.
  20. you're being too nice. He misused Kyle Williams, Marcel, Bradham, Preston and Mario. That's a lot of miscalculating.
  21. Plus he sounded like a bully who got punched in the face and didn't know what to do about it. He looked beat down and pathetic. Usually a dose of humility is a good thing for people. I HOPE THIS RINGS TRUE FOR REX. We are stuck with him. ... and climbing.
  22. “I know one thing, I’m going to fight,” Ryan said of those final two meaningless games. “Everyone should feel the way I do. I have something to prove … that’s the way I approach it. If we want this organization to compete, then you step up and show what you’re made of.” I've heard enough from him for now. Rinse wash and repeat. He's a broken record. Speaking of records...0-16 for the playoffs.
  23. It's pretty black and white what I'm suggesting. Mario is this year's whipping boy. There's plenty of criticism to go around. Yes even to Mario but, Mario is right when he says this d still can't get lined up correctly or subs are coming in way too late to be lined up. In the 1st month of the season or so, fine. We are at the end of the season and this d still can't get lined up correctly and that is pissing him off. That's bush league coaching. It's cool for Hughes to flip a table and show emotion, but Mario has to stay quite. Someone on this d had to call Rex out. I'm glad he did. Rex basically took a bull of a d and snipped there nuts off. Bully my A&$, more like Bull&h!t. Mario is the wrong guy to use as a whipping boy.
