  1. Must have missed something. What happened? Was making a sandwich.
  2. As one of his biggest apologists, I'm curious how Zay does. In his 1st 2 games he's played in since the trade he's been targeted 6x for 5 receptions and 48 yds. Vegas has his over/under recieving yds at 29.5. I would bet the over. Guessing 5 receptions and 65 yds. Go Zay!!
  3. Yea. If I'm a professional athlete and strictly talking money, I want to be in place like TX or FL vs. NY or Cali. Those state taxes are a big deal.
  4. Agreed. I don't think they will fall off the cliff, like some say after the Baltimore game, but they have their issues too.
  5. Heard on WGR this morning that playing in London is not gonna work unless there is a change in the tax structure in London(good luck). They mentioned a player making $28 million a year in London would take home $7 Million of it. No way that will fly with players or the NFLPA. I don't have any links to articles, just heard it on the radio this morning.
  6. They're running the ball at an avg of 28.5 times a game. And passing at just over 32 times a game. Removing the teams that haven't had a bye yet, there's only 5 teams with more rush attempts. Not arguing, but I think they have been running the ball. I would like to see Singletary get the ball more often, but I'm pretty sure they were easing him back into the game plan after the hamstring issue. The Athletic saying they have been primarily a passing team isn't correct in my view. Their lowest number of rushing attempts was 20, against the the Eagles. We were down that game and playing catch up. Also, those 4th qtr. comebacks were probably due to more passing than runs. Just my take.
  7. Since it's Browns week a question keeps popping up in my mind every time I see the title of this thread: Would you rather be perceived as a "flawed" 6-2 team or as a "talented" 2-6 team? Ask the Browns this question. I've wanted to ask this question since this thread was started, but never did. Dopey me.
  8. So we scored? Good job Daboll. Yea, I saw it. Just cuz he didn't do what you wanted doesn't mean he's wrong. Allen has cut down on turnovers, by a lot. We're really good in the red zone. We're on pace for over 2k yds rushing. That's a good game plan for a qb who's started less than 20 games and is still learning. I think he's doing a damn good job. Now, if your asking for perfection, good luck. Even Andy Reid can't do that.
  9. Refresh my memory, did we score a td on that drive?
  10. The Yankees need a pitcher.
  11. You are. And thanks, you did answer my question.
  12. Yes, it was a serious question. Are you referring to any polls you saw? Seemed like you just kinda threw that out there. You don't have to answer or back up the claim. Wasn't meant as an argument, I just don't think NFL fans outside of WNY are really watching Allen play enough to say that. And if they are, I really am curious how you know this. Polls, interviews, etc.
  13. Ooh, I've been waiting to use this one: Link, please? Not saying you're wrong, just would like to see where you get this from.
  14. I predicted this week would be 1/2 as bad as last week on TBD. I was wrong.
  15. Haven't you heard? He's making 14 million.
  16. Sure he's interested, really doubt the feeling is mutual.
  17. I think Daboll is using him in that fashion, but Brady has thrown over 110 more pass attempts than Josh. Josh has a go to guy in Brown. Brown is on pace for 82 receptions and over 1200 yds. Cole's numbers just aren't going to be up there, but he is 2nd on the team and on pace for 70 receptions and 675 yds. Not bad for being the 2nd or 3rd option on a team that doesn't throw so much. You also have to keep in mind Cole is not Julian and Josh is definitely no Brady. Dumbol?! Really?
  18. Solid C+ Has things to work on, as any rookie would. If we had more or bigger leads, he could come in as the penetrating DT we envisioned he would be.
  19. Same here. I do think the lbs and safeties don't take on the blocks to fill that gap, but try to get around the block and leave the gap wide open. Also, rbs have been able to take a fake/jab step to one direction before hitting the hole/gap and Edmunds goes toward the fake and leaves his gap. The rb then hits the intended hole/gap where Edmunds should have been. Had the rb continued in the direction of the fake, we had it covered. Everyone has to do their job, not try to do someone else's job. Milano has been guilty of this too, but Edmunds stands out to me as doing it more often. Just my take, but like you, I'm not as educated as some.
  20. There were 2 runs by AP where he was in the grasp of the db who filled in properly, just didn't finish the tackle. The 1st was behind the l.o.s. The db had him in his grasp for a loss. Didn't make the tackle, AP ran through the tackle. He ran past Star, but Star was still engaged with his blocker, but did his job. The 2nd, again the db had him in his grasp, for a loss. AP threw him to the turf like a rag doll and got a nice gain. Again, the dline did it's job. AP is still a beast who ran for over 1k last year.
  21. I'm hoping he gets better at gap assignment. He can be a good one. Still a work in progress. Maybe he's still "thinking about it" too much and not to the point where it's a reaction. I like Oliver. If we had bigger leads, he could come in and do what I think we got him for. Create pressure in passing situations. He's shown he can chase down rbs too. For now, I'm good with the Phillips-Star combo and a rotation of Taylor and Ed.
