  1. Agreed. A young Josh, plenty of drops and, as was amplified in the playoffs, guys(Knox) missing key blocks. We left quite a few plays on the field. We should be a lot more competent on offense due to having stability. We had to work with a whole new o-line, a whole new group of TE's, a whole new group of WR's and a whole new group of RB's. Josh and Dion were the only returning starters on offense.
  2. I don't know...Maybe the smarter people are not firing him?
  3. Maybe I'm reading this wrong. You say you're afraid of signing Shaq and Jordan. Does that mean you wouldn't sign them? Shaq has improved every year under this regime. It's not a 1 year thing. Unless you're just looking at sacks(numbers). Then cut Star and Murph for 1 guy? Sounds like you wanna get rid of 4 players from a top defense. Numbers aside and contrary to what some posters wrote throughout the season, you don't find someone who does what Star does under a rock. I tend not to look at numbers as a determining factor. I watch them play. Star is worth every penny he gets. Back to my original thought when posting, who replaces these 4 players? Please don't say draft picks.
  4. One of my favorite players. Watching him cry after that concussion in 2016, I thought he should have retired after that season. Good luck, Dude.
  5. I heard on MLB Channel that Hinch was planning to go on an "apology" tour this off season. This may help him find a gig in 2021. Now if we could find out how pitchers who go to Houston all of a sudden develop incredible spin rates. There are some who question the tactics, whether it's pine tar or some other substance. I don't know about that. Looks like Alex Cora might be next in line for punishment. https://nypost.com/2020/01/13/red-soxs-alex-cora-is-going-to-get-crushed-after-astros-cheating-scandal/
  6. Brah, gtf outta here with that stuff! What's this got to do with Lynch?! This says in 2011. Lynch was in college from 2004-2006. But yeah, he's dumb. Damn, you beat me to it. See my post after yours.
  7. Maybe he can pull an Eli Manning draft day special.
  8. He's 31 yrs old. Poor guy ain't making it to 40. He makes Mike Tyson look normal.
  9. You actually sound jealous that he's a lot more successful than you.
  10. In hind site, I say we should have drafted Tom Brady in the 1st round.
  11. I heard it on the radio. If you can make out what chicken means and are ok with cursing, it's actually good advise. He's actually a smart dude. When I left Buffalo for the south, I can't tell you how quick I overcame the idea of someone with a southern slang/accent had to be dumb. Same applies to the way Lynch talks. Also, some players hearing come out this way might relate better to who it's coming from and heed the advice.
  12. I like it. I would also grab a DT late in the draft to compete with Liuget for that spot or PS.
  13. I hear ya. To me the games played were important to show he's over the foot injuries. Other than that, this past season was a wash. I do feel next year he'll be better and help our offense out, a lot. Just my feelings.
  14. Listening to Sal Capaccio this morning, he says the staff is still high on Kroft and the TE group as a whole. Chalking this up to the injury and not having a training camp to get accustomed to Allen. I agree with Beane and staff. Kroft played in 11 games and seems to be over the foot issue. Having him come in and have a complete training camp will help him and Allen get on the same page. The year before his foot injury, he had a pretty decent year. Of his 42 receptions, he had 7 td's. More important and why I think he was signed is that 23 of those receptions resulted in 1st downs. We actually have a solid group of TE's. Lee had a 2-3 game streak of penalties, but straightened that out. I really like Knox if he concentrates more on catching the ball before trying to run with it. Knox will be really improved next year. Sweeney is going to be Lee's replacement after next season. He lacks any kind of speed(he's turtle slow), but runs pretty good routes, and has really good hands. He's a pretty good blocker too. Back to Kroft. I think he can be a really solid player and target for Allen. Kroft and Knox on the field together is really intriguing to me. We've seen Knox make some great catches, but drop some easy one's. He'll clean that up. Kroft just needs a healthy off season and training camp and he'll work out really well with Allen. The fact that he played in those 11 games without any setbacks shows he is healthy now. Maybe he came back too soon after the 1st foot injury. Think AJ Green on foot injuries and coming back too soon. I did like the signing, a lot. Still do. If I had to make the decision, Kroft gets 1 more year. Beane is handling the cap really well, so the $ argument doesn't fly with me. Give me 1 or 2 wr's, 2 rbs and an o-line man and I think we'll see a better offense.
  15. He held up.
  16. I'm up for another upset. Go Texans!!
  17. Wonder if roids take a while to leave the body like weed(thc). If so, he's in withdrawal.
  18. Welcome back, Daboll. Ok Beane, bring in a couple more playmakers and we're good.
