    I agree that Palmer was brought in to be a backup. The point I'm trying to illustrate is that EJ was a disaster at camp last year and he didn't "win" the job as much as it was defaulted to him -- after all the riff-raff was cut he was the only guy left.

    Anyone that went to SJF could tell you that. They were so desperate they brought in Jordan Freaking Palmer. I'm led to believe the friction between the two was due to the lack of a starting QB plan.

    McCown at age 35 is more mobile than EJ at age 24. He can extend plays out of the pocket at least.

Manziel is about self promotion, about celebrity, about putting yourself before the team. It's about flashing money signs and flying on private jets to Vegas. This is a 6 second Vine of a college kid drinking beer.

    It would hardly take a miracle at this point. Based on the last 10 games, ARI is on a pace to win 2 more games all season (6 more points) -- and Regier isn't done unloading before the deadline. No, but a stretch of 10 games could. After Vancouver we have a 4 game road trip. If we come out of the next 5 games with >5 points, we are in big $%^&ing trouble.

    If you watch the games it's pretty clear there has been a noticeable jump in energy since the trade. They are playing well on the road, that's not a good sign at all.

    It doesn't really, or you would see more teams in the playoffs with average QBs. I'll agree that a big part of it was having two tall, freakish WRs like Marshall and Jeffery. And an OL that can keep him upright of course.
