    3 out of 4 against those teams is fantastic, but I'm still P.O.ed about the 4 out of 10 they scrounged against those bad teams we played before X-mas. The collapse in the first Boston game didn't help either, and I don't really consider them to be a playoff caliber team either (they won't make it). Eichel on a 39 goal pace over 82 games btw.

    I thought Cardale would be a deep 3-year project QB, i.e. ready to start in 2019. That may sound funny, but it's realistic for a guy that raw.

    I expect a Bills notification this evening that Lynn has been named head coach. The list of candidates out there is less promising than the 2013 QB class.

    Coughlin has enough clout, he can be selective. Aside from Denver, there really aren't many appealing teams that a veteran coach would want to work for this season.

    Not really a big O'Brien fan, the Texans are a pretender and their playoff appearances are more of a product of their weak division (although they are poised for a victory against a 3rd string QB). If they did part ways it could be weeks before any team could interview him, and I don't think he's a coach worth waiting on.

    Three people vying for the owner's ear only works when you are winning. When you start losing, it shifts to an exercise in self-preservation. That's when the dysfunction emerges. It's pretty clear from the past week that OBD is not aligned as "One Buffalo."

    I'm still laughing over how he dodged one question by stating "We don't want to give other teams our blueprint." Yeah. Right. There's a slew of teams out there looking to mimic our hiring process.
