  1. Cleveland, Miami, and the Jets all with back-up QB's playing. A nice 3 wins to finish the season and I can hear it already... "Let's build on this momentum for next year"
  2. Someone should mention to Preston that he's a big part of the problem.
  3. I cringe every time someone tries to prop up TT by pointing out his rating. You're just fooling yourself.
  4. Yeah, this is quite interesting. Need more info on this option and what level of injury or amount of games missed triggers it.
  5. You'll never deprogram the Brandonites. Fantastic article. To say the housecleaning is long overdue is the understatement of the year.
  6. The fact that you think he would have won rookie of the year over Jameis Winston illustrates your level of delusion perfectly.
  7. I saw at least 5 instances where a player was running onto the field late, and just barely got out there in time.
  8. I picked 7-9 and that was an "honest" pick. Actually, they are better than I thought they would be, as weird as that sounds...
  9. No, he didn't. Yes, there were many. Fans just chose to ignore them. He's a 27 year-old undersized running quarterback.
  10. They're 6 pts out with a game in hand over Boston. But you really need to stop the playoff watch in early December. I'm glad we don't have to play Washington anymore this season.
  11. Penalty kill was 9th last year, 29th this year and seems to be getting worse every week (even as we get healthier). WTF is going on Disco Dan?
  12. System sack numbers.
  13. Now he's even bailing out early in press interviews.
  14. We are sort of saying the same thing, and I get the 3 point thing, but I think you are still missing my point. That percentage you posted (15%) is based on playing a month and a half with a heavily injured team. If we play the rest of the season without Eichel and O'reilly, then yes, I completely agree with those numbers (and think they are a bit generous in that scenario). But hopefully our top players can stay reasonably healthy, and if they do, that percentage means squat. The math doesn't lie, it's just often interpreted incorrectly. Also that math is wrong. Since Jack has come back we've earned 7 out of 10 points, and if we continue at that rate we'll wind up with 104 points. That's not squeaking in, that's 3rd or 4th seed territory. Even if we only play 5-3-2 like we have over our last 10 games (5 without Jack, 4 without O'Reilly) that would put us on a pace for 93 points, and right on the edge. Ultimately, I think it's just too early to pay attention to playoff percentages. On an NFL scale, we've played the equivalent of 5 games, and playoff percentages aren't taken seriously in the 1st week of October. Back to that game... there's clearly something wrong with Eichel. He didn't have the same burst. Still fantastic as a QB on the PP but... Also is there anyone in the league faster than McDavid?
  15. Minor miracle? Come on. If we play 80% of our remaining games without Eichel and O'Reilly, then yes, those playoff percentages are accurate. Otherwise those percentages mean nothing -- they're based on a team that's been injured for a month.
  16. Those 2 receptions took me by surprise.
  17. Bucky sounds conflicted Tyrod should hit the road – and take Rex with him
  18. You front office apologists are hysterical. It's not even so much about the money, it's more about the FO repeatedly getting duped like some rube at a carnival. You want to know a better option? Find the list of currently available WR's. Now circle every name on that list. Yes, every player on that list could have posted 2 rec 6 yds before going on IR. We could have put a helmet on Sanjay Lal aand achieved that production.
  19. I thought they played a pretty solid game. Ristolainen and McCabe with nearly 30 minutes of ice time... D was in crisis-mode.
  20. The first one. Please don't bother posting his stats, I've seen them a million times.
  21. Guns n' Roses to play at New Era Field in August
  22. No way 95% of the people here agree with that
  23. I would guess that TT scrambles primarily to get a better view of the field - even when there is no pressure, about 30-35% of the time. Just an estimated guess. I'd be real interested to see the stats on that if anyone wants to do it, but I don't have the stomach for it. He's listed at 6'1" but he plays like 5'9" in the pocket.
  24. And an undersized scrambler to boot. I'm actually a bit surprised TT hasn't gotten hurt yet TBH.
