  1. I agree with you 100% on this. If your ultimate goal is to make the playoff as a pretender just so we can end this "streak," then yes, keeping Whaley and TT is certainly the way to go. A lot of fans would be thrilled with this. Personally, I don't care about being a one-and-done playoff team.
  2. It's not hard to figure out. It really isn't All 3 report to the Pegula's. Rex works with Whaley, he doesn't work under him (which is not the way to run a front office).
  3. Their 7-7 record is a complete mirage, just as their 4-2 record earlier this season was.
  4. I've asked this question on this forum many times over the years. Blaming EJ on Nix is necessary to keep the "Whaley is a genius" narrative alive.
  5. How is Miami winning with a 1st-year head coach? Don't they know it takes 3 years?
  6. Did you sit in the 200 level? 200 level is like church. I've always felt the arena design has a lot to do with it. I've been to many different venues and most tend to amplify crowd noise and energy, while the Key Center seems to stifle it. Even concerts there sound like schitt to me and lack a lot of energy.
  7. My confidence in Disco Dan is fading, even as the team is winning. That Isle team was on 0 days rest and travelling and they out-hustled us badly in the 1st period. What's up with these slow starts, and will we ever play a 60 minute game? Lehner stole 2 pts for us which is encouraging. The response to the Boychuk hit was disappointing. Remember when that idiot tried to run Eichel last year and wound up hurting himself?
  8. In this weather you want the Cobblestone district. No way you're walking from Irish Times with the wind chill in single digits. Buffalo Iron Works is literally across the street from the east parking ramp. You can walk out of the bar and cross the street and take the parking ramp right into the arena.
  9. Hmmm. Where have I read that before?
  10. There are a few out there that consider laughing at the Bills equal to laughing at a deceased relative. Personally, I think a sense of humor is necessary if you are a fan of this team.
  11. They're not good enough to win if they only play 30 minutes of hockey like that. The effort in the first half of that game was pretty sad. At home, four days rest, no travel -- that's on the coach. Luckily O'Reilly woke them up.
  12. Rex isn't going to another team, he's going straight to a booth in NY and he's going to collect two paychecks.
  13. Haha let's not get crazy now.
  14. Cleveland, Miami, and the Jets all with back-up QB's playing. A nice 3 wins to finish the season and I can hear it already... "Let's build on this momentum for next year"
  15. Someone should mention to Preston that he's a big part of the problem.
  16. I cringe every time someone tries to prop up TT by pointing out his rating. You're just fooling yourself.
  17. Yeah, this is quite interesting. Need more info on this option and what level of injury or amount of games missed triggers it.
  18. You'll never deprogram the Brandonites. Fantastic article. To say the housecleaning is long overdue is the understatement of the year.
  19. The fact that you think he would have won rookie of the year over Jameis Winston illustrates your level of delusion perfectly.
  20. I saw at least 5 instances where a player was running onto the field late, and just barely got out there in time.
  21. I picked 7-9 and that was an "honest" pick. Actually, they are better than I thought they would be, as weird as that sounds...
  22. No, he didn't. Yes, there were many. Fans just chose to ignore them. He's a 27 year-old undersized running quarterback.
