  1. Thanks for the positive outlook in Edwards. I do agree that This O line , including depth might be the best we have seen. Last year was a big improvement and I feel they have raised the bar again with some of the players brought in. Just read an article on Spencer Brown and pretty stoked about his stats last year. and his health. L Collins is healthy too and has played guard. I gots a feeling
  2. Part of my gripe moving him to center. he was quite good by eye at LG working with Morse and that guy at LT Edwards might be as good there But absolutely watching and hoping the Rookie shines PS McG has a quote somewhere , that he is very familiar at Center and looking forward to it. sorry to Eball did not finish the thread before I posted : ( Connor quotes
  3. Preseason imho is about clearing up unknowns for the Coaches Rookies first. New Fa next and injured from last year or on that list as well. Got to get them all on the field to take a looksee, and for the injured dudes? The also need to gain confidence. Miller comes to mind . But to the OP yea all of that ! and what our erudite posters included since then ! Favorite time of year is when hopes are high because we dont have a clue yet what Bills look like lol
  4. I guess this is my outlook as well. Knox and Davis as well Kincaid is surely going to get the attention though
  5. I sincerely hope so I begged for outside speed pre draft wishes.
  6. I might say it is easier to like them at this point. before any one makes their first critical drop lol
  7. Samael has some burst after catch. Shakir surprised me his field awareness pre and post catch and why I love him Claypool ? Just hopeful for for him t make roster and make plays all season. Not detailed on his potential after falling off the cliff until he hit Miami
  8. I am surprised you don't feel Offense has been getting addressed to an increasing degree this off season i might have to argue that my Friend Kirby. But yea, no splashes this year. Just depth and some hopes Solid depth is good if managed well. methinks strongly that Beane is looking at next years draft and Cap. Kincaid might be a win and Coleman is a ?? How would you feel if Claypool can turn his tide ? Not a real "investment of course " but if that worked out ? Headed forward ? remain hopeful
  9. I think it might be better said , can Bills draw a safety over to help the corner ? Some body like Kincaid can do that on a seam route maybe ? Samuel of Claypool outside ? heck even Cook with his wheels might be given consideration at times Make the defenses adjust during the game. That is what having strong depth of targets might offer. Yes a Justin Jefferson is on everyone's wish list LOL But teams can we by having enough players with differing skill sets moving around. If no one has noticed , I am big believer in that , OC is the determining factor in a complete and multiple game day threat over individual talent Individual talent is the cherry on the Sunday go bills
  10. I cannot argue against your logic. But to the bolded , I am not sure they need to be. Defense need to play much better when the heat is on. Josh can make plays with most all of his targets. Can Brady scheme them open and give/teach Josh the right progressions to find those guys. Fixing that , will do wonders.
  11. To be fair to Brady , he was running Dorsey's program by default. Some tweaks of course. I expect he will be implementing his Own vision of Offense this year and that gives me much hope I think the ball catchers , options and targets are deeper and cumulatively better on paper.
  12. Niagara Gazette presents some stats about second year rookie TEs. Its on this site when you open Defenses are going to focus on him more this year , more so since Diggs is gone If Bills were smart , and i think Brady is , they are going to find Dawson open more often if they scheme him to be. Kincaid might drop rec but perhaps get better YAC etc Hoping Knox increases his output to balance it out I voted the over Do Bills have Quinton Morris still ? Highly underrated and much less used by Josh : ( Missed opportunities there i felt. he can catch, cant run much , but holds onto the ball

  14. So the number is ? Six ? he needs better assistants is the Answer
  15. Do you feel this season might improve come playoff and the test of Playoff caliber teams with all the changes on defense Or do results still hang in the balance with the talent Agreed last year we were limping in That needs to be prevented or planned for accordingly I am more likely to lean towards Coaching is always the answer. McD is still a young Coach , and he has adjusted his defense actually. Last year was an example. Adding pressures rotating players and packages. let me believe he is still learning to play against elite teams and can yet still raise his defense another bar or two go bills !
  16. I don't feel that is exactly the mentality of McBeanes Just heading back to letting Allen play more free again. Besides the shoulder , it might be OC was asking him to play a more strict role that Josh couldn't master ?
  17. Rapp came on , during back half with smarter play. And has mentioned that being mentored in McDs system by Hyde and Poyer has really given him the understanding and mental tools to play well Edwards was brought in to replace Hyde ? That was my expectation Lets hope Bishop can get solid reps early. And i might expect he does. Hamlin can play situational etc Hyde is still a wildcard I think we are all spoiled by the dynamic duo of Hyde and Poyer being such smart players calling defenses ! Not sure i feel it's the weakest. But it sure is something to watch develop
  18. Center and left guard kinda go hand in hand in this case ! Would love to see the Draftee make an impact and move Connor back. That is a win win. But I expect McGovern will hold it down. Here's the weird thing for me. How do you move Connor back to left guard midseason gently WR is the biggest unknown . Who plays and where do they line up ? I put up a laugh emoji because you are really not that far from the truth and crazy to consider !
  19. Nope wrong again House its me all day. jealous a bit ?
  20. Voltaire you say ? Thought it was Nietzche or Kafka. So many aphorisms and so little time !
  21. Thats my Boy ! Dont tell me what I can tell you , or anyone else , to do or not to do. I have god given rights to be wrong , y'know
  22. I have concerns /s
  23. I think that's where he sits. he is going to have to secure a role in teams Not sure if it is standard practice , but thought any WR listed as 4t and beyond Must play teams. Cuz math Bills offense will not be predicated on having a 1A and even a 1B in truth. At this point. They have 3 2As lol This will change but it might be a good few games in , or might just be week to week matchups. Hope Josh can scan both sides of the field on most plays lol
  24. Just waiting for the injury bug , near the phone , and ready to go . And prove all the doubters something something ... 6 is the number
