  1. I wondered about this whole Fast defense concept. If you have lite LBs and a lite heavy nickels ? You sure might do well do have a front that can fill the a-b gaps at least. And push the center for pressures
  2. Good post Coach. Get back to controlling the line of scrimmage between the guards. Whether pushing or penetrating. Let the quick side to side LB make plays off the Tackles. Thats the design with Milano and Bernard. Light and fast angles to the sideline
  3. Thank for the responding note Good post too. Anyone who has hope for Elam is swimming against the tide of looking at him , and fairly so, as the 1st round pick. One of biggest questions about Kair is not about him. Coaching. WTH is going on ? The obvious is why cant they develop him by now. The second one for me is Why have they kept him this long , and mostly off the field. These are both mysteries for me. I have bias in wanting to see him "get it" or The light comes on type of thing. Go Bills
  4. I do apologize to have triggered you ! And I feel ya. Elam need to be better ball aware. He seems to be watching the Rec movements for the trigger to turn back to the ball. But he isn't there. And thats no good at all. Buffalo Coach told Leodis to " Be the receiver and look for the ball like its yours all along " He improved. If you dont have that awareness when running full gallop in trail . You cant play CB. Maybe deep saftey lol
  5. Very Zen perspective 2001. Thinking same. Let er rip Josh. Coop go get ball. Seems it might be about time ? for few show me plays from him. Gimme one solid Allen to Amari post deep completion against the jest. please. At this rate of production it's simple as that. draft his Type though
  6. Shakir is a critical piece to This Offense. Cooper isn't. He can be replaced/upgraded Maybe this years draft Eh Doc ? 😉
  7. What comes next depend on Coleman. And I don't see anything to hang my hat upon yet. We all want size and speed lol I want a guy who can separate cuz of his burst at the break and has hands. Last season I wanted to draft two early. A Coleman type and a Worthy type. I still am good with Amari on the team. Hoping for more down the stretch here and into the playoffs. Then and only then will I decide his fate lol
  8. Even better would be to learn to turn his head when the ball is near ! Recall Leodis ?
  9. Is that what I wrote ? Sorry for that. And no I have not played sport at any level of recognition , to be straight up. I thought waaay back I said Its time to rotate in these younger guys , especially Bishop. Am sure i do communicate poorly my points and suggestions both. Family tells me as much on occasion. Next week is a great time to let the second string or youth increase the reps. rest the A+ starters even ? Get Hyde in at some point. My meaning was not to play Coach here. Just some thoughts to consider. I expect Coaching to know when and where to ramp up Rapp and Hamlin
  10. I like Rapp in this cerebral defense. Continues to improve. Injuries are slowing him down.
  11. My suggestion was play Bishop and Elam even during the lul LOL Let our starting safeties get healthier for the playoffs. Then , of course Bills have to bring the A game and best players to win the day ! But getting the Seed can't be understated. Chiefs have two real games ahead of them. So Bills still should be focused on winning out.
  12. They did exactly that. But that should have been expected from McD. And compensated for. But for sure why Bills defense struggled last week , those 3 . Bishop and Elam reps Cam if ya have too
  13. There it is. This is a Very real factor still i had not fully considered. Trust McBabich here to make the very best decisions on Defense week to week !
  14. I agree with reps. I agree with resting Vets for Playoffs. I want to agree with you about the future ..Or at least very solid second year depth. Don't watch him closely unless he so using my educated faith on this Boards reporting on him since draft day 🤠
  15. Well phrased indeed Wide
  16. The everybody eats mentality is real in Buffalo with this offense. they play The "On Any Sunday" type of football. Gotta credit Allen and his patience and the Coaching Staff this season ! Starts with McBrady
  17. About time too. Protect the franchise ! But yes , the whole offense looks better cuz O line and Kromer/Brady
  18. Bartender says " Whattya boys have ? " Boys chime in " We're all set buddy ! Brought our Lunch Pails "
  19. I think Bills are more designed for Inside pressures. When Oliver is on point , he is often very strong. Must be by design and how Bills counter. DEs really have to be assigned to defending the edge more often than some Teams ? Smoot and Solomon, Carter. I like them.
  20. Hence the very reason some of suggest he get more Game day reps against the Patriots and next few weeks perhaps even. At least mix him in. I cant set down Hamlin or Rapp unless my Coaching excuse is " saving you for playoffs Good points about those two WRs who helped educate him lol
  21. heck rotate all 3 in Bishop Hamlin and even Hyde for few. It's just the Patriots. Love being able to say that. I think most all of Us agree , be good to get some live reps for Hyde soon , More Bishop and Elam. Good time for the Dline to get start heating up a bit
  22. same but different Augie. Bishop is the New Kid. Elam is his own story. Kair looked pretty decent sunday. Starter decent. Douglas need to get healthy or whatever. Give him a sunday off
  23. Patriots game is a fine chance to work some guys in. Bishop especially Keep the Guys engaged and getting hot reps might be smart playing NE
  24. This is something we can appreciate after some years. Bills have DEPTH !
  25. I am stealing this lead in Takeaways, game balls from the Buffalo Bills' 48-42 win over the Detroit Lions ‘Gashed by the Rams last week, the Bills’ defense – minus three starters in the secondary – forced Detroit’s league-leading scoring offense to punt on its first two drives. On the opening drive, defensive tackle Ed Oliver and linebacker Matt Milano combined for a second-and-10 run stuff (David Montgomery for no gain). On the second drive, cornerback Christian Benford’s first career sack was followed by Oliver’s third-down sack. The Bills turned those two stops into a 14-0 lead and they never trailed.’
