  1. I am going to watch the game with a fork in one eye and a steak knife in the other.
  2. If we take Gabbert everyone on this board will whine for three years just like they did in GB about the Aaron Rodgers pick. Then they whined when they let Brett go. They are not whining today.
  3. Shurmur brought Bradford along very nicely, especially for a team whose receivers & TE's were as bad as they were.
  4. It would take a huge effort for bills to sign a very good ufa at most positions of need and then take the BPA in the draft. RT, G, DT, DE, OLB, ILB, TE
  5. I hope he makes it. Why **** on guys that never pan out? Maybin, McCargo, Hardy, JP, TE it is not their fault where they were drafted of maybe never really had the talent. Even Lynch, Parish, Whitner & Poz to a lesser extent. At least they all try. Instead **** on guys that stop trying like Lee Evans.
  6. Bledsoe had that ability until he got his bell rung on that sideline hit, then in comes Brady and we get the Drew has-been leftovers.
  7. We don't have to do anything like this and will still be in a position to get Luck.
  8. This board does not like WRs that produce and jaw, they prefer one that does not produce and is silent.
  9. Look at Cam Newton's ears on this video. They could hold a Pint draft.
  10. This is not true. I always wanted to keep Lynch but I do not have any use for Lee as Lee does not try and drops way too many balls (and at key times) for a #1 receiver, But that gets to his level of effort which is decidedly lacking. If he was traded to another team he may try for a while but in the end he will fail because he has no heart. I also would have liked to keep Peters, Clemens, Winfield, Pat Williams, London Fletcher, Greer, Leonard, & Spikes to name a few. McGahee meanwhile can kiss my @$$, never liked his attitude or production. How can you all keep defending Lee when he does not produce? Is it because he is quiet? can't be much else as he has shown nothing, absolutely nothing on the field for three years running.
  11. But with all of the high picks we had we should have at least one from the first round that shows something in their rookie year.
  12. IMO Troup showed very little. Picked way too high in the 2nd round, played like a 5th rounder at best.
  13. How can you possibly say that? VY has something like a 33-17 record as starter. Does anyone have that stat? He may be a head case but the guy can play ball when his head is right. And Jim got three points just for getting his own name correct.
  14. How about this guy if he makes it rd 3 or 4? We don't need another RB but he'd be a bruiser and would be great when paired with Spiller for four or five years. Our picks in rd 3 and 4 usually don't make it anyway so why not?
  15. I always liked Tony Soprano. Stand up guy.
  16. Luck is coming out. Whenever a player says I am going to evaluate all of my options, of which there a re two, he has already decided and he si coming out. If he were staying he would have said "There is too much pu$$y at Stanford and there is no way I am leaving."
  17. Gabbert going high is not weird, it will happen. He is the #2 prototypical pro style QB coming out. Great size, great arm, smart, mobile. He wil be a top 10 pick.
  18. Let's look at this from the Panthers point of view. If you think the next Peyton Manning or John Elway is sitting there would you trade out of the position for a handful of draft picks or players? Answer is no. So end this discussion. Luck may be that guy.
  19. I think it is about spending money wisely not whose money we are spending. In the last three games Lee played SJ had 36, 68 and 137 yds. With the 137 yds coming vs the Bengals who could not have covered Clip Smith that day. In that span, SJ had 0, 0 and 3 Tds and the Bills avg 240 yds vs the Vikes, Pitt and Bengals. In the three games after Lee was hurt, SJ had 42, 69 and 58 yds with 1 td. The Bills avg 210 yds passing vs the Browns, Fish and Pats. The weather was more of a factor in two of the last three games. Also I am not saying that SJ is Eric Moulds or Andre Reed, far far from it, as those guys always caught balls thrown to them. But I am saying the Bills are no better with Evans than without him so why pay him $x,000,000 for not doing very much? BTW Lee's totals those three games 72, 9, 72 with 0 tds. A decent #1 receiver gets close to 150 yards one game out of three not a total for three games. Lee has not produced squat in three years. Take a look at his stats they absolutely suck ever since he got rich. Maybe we should talk about how many balls Lee drops. D Jones dropped a few, D Nelson maybe one or two, Namaan..none that I recall. Lee dropped quite a few for a $6M dollar baby and since he only averages 3 catches game his drops stuck out.
  20. He would have had two and we would have beat the Steelers if God had not intervened.
