  1. We wont catch the Chiefs now unless Mahomes get injured. The best I think we can hope for is that the Chiefs get complacent and lose to us or another team in the playoffs. They know how to win but 2 SBs might have sated their drive. They dont seem as focused as the Pats dynasty (or so I hope). Still amazes me how easily Kelsey gets open and how teams cannot neutralize Mahomes when they have to (or at all). The Broncos did a decent job in that game but their offense was woeful. Wilson is a shadow of his former self. Old, slow and his decision making is terrible at times. Seeing Brady and Brees play so well into their late 30s has ruined people's ideas of the normal deterioration of an NFL Qb's skills. What we are seeing now with Wilson was the norm with NFL Qbs in the their mid 30s until they changed the paradigm.
  2. I'm trying to remember the last year Wilson was good. Maybe 2019? It has been a steep drop in quality since. Now its just flashes of quality in a sea of terrible.
  3. So weird that so many players were injured on Sunday, almost like the the team was forced to play on a different continent, 5 time zones away coming off little rest.
  4. To be fair he wouldn't get fooled by a receiver as easily as Elam is.
  5. Milano might have broken his leg in any NFL game but the London games with all their possible issues heighten the risk of injury dramatically. A non contact sport might be passable on no sleep or jet lag but not a brutal game like football. Absolute madness doing these games!
  6. For all the people dismissing jet lag as a problem for the Bills vs 10 days of acclimatization for the Jags, you've either never travelled on a plane outside North America or are not thinking about this clearly. 1. No way the Bills could have arrived Monday, Players in the NFL need at least a day of complete rest or more after all the hits and minor injuries they experience. Travelling 8 hours on a plane, the day after an NFL game (worse than any other sport) would have a very negative effect on the team's health. 2. Say the Bills left Tuesday, They would have got there later Tuesday UK time or early Wednesday. They would be exhausted from the flight with no little or sleep. In addition, 8 hours on a plane (even in business class bed seats) plays havoc on your body as a tourist. I cannot imagine the effect on a pro athlete nursing bumps, bruises, etc. 3. Once the Bills arrived they would still be completely out of their element, the hotel, the food, the distractions in a huge city like London. Their routines would be much different than any away game they've played. More like going to a SB (which also throws routines out the window). 4. Jet lag only starts to get better 48 hours in, and for some people it takes 3 or more days to get used to it. Had the Bills got there Wednesday (which was probably the earliest feasible, Players would have been just returning to normal Saturday at best. You can take all the melatonin you want. You still need time to get yourself right. 5. The Jags had been in the UK for 10 days. You cannot dismiss this massive physical and mental advantage. The matchup was unfair and in a sport like football, that can be dangerous to the players. All in all, the NFL puts these teams at a huge disadvantage in these gimmicky games and the results were predictable: sloppily played and penalty filled games, higher potential for injury and a less than acceptable product. All of this was evident yesterday. Add to this that the Jags were gifted a massive advantage and this borders on farce. I'm glad that many Bills fans got to experience London and the UK (pretty cool) but the game was a debacle.
  7. It was a great tackle by the Jags player but Shawkir is probably the least physical of the Bills Offensive players.
  8. That was an awful game all around. Epenesa was probably my only bright spot but I could without the showboating. Aside from him Diggs was good, the others are just meh. The Bills were obviously fatigued from the plane ride and the jet lag. Even had the Bills arrived earlier, the Jags would still have had the advantage being acclimatized for as long as they were. This threw off the Bills bodies and heads. They were just not physically or mentally ready for this game. Fine if the Jags were in the same boat but they werent! Thats on the NFL and their BS scheduling. I am convinced that this heightened the chances of injury which we saw over and over today. The refs also ruined this game. Sure they might have been bad for both teams but the ticky tack calls were the worst I have seen for a few years. The bottom line is that this team cant seem to rescue itself in these games. If the refs, injuries or circumstance come up against them they cannot get over the hump. It doesnt bode well for playoff success.
  9. And that bobble by Hardy sums it all up for today.
  10. Onside kicks another thing ruined by the NFL.
  11. Pathetic coverage by Hyde. Nobody in the secondary ever turns around.
  12. Gene Steratore says Josh getting hit in the head wasnt a penalty.
  13. Game on the line and Shawkir loses all physicality.
  14. Phantom PI, Refs are embarrassing themselves
  15. Another missed tackle. Defense is gassed. Our Offense completely sht the bed today.
  16. Makes no difference when youre playing a team that has had 10 days to acclimatize.
  17. Possibly one of the worst Bills games to watch of the McD era, that is since the last Jags game.
  18. Bills cant beat the Jags. Its in their heads now.
  19. Josh underthrew him again
  20. Josh is going to have start running.
  21. Terrible spot. But these refs are consistent.
  22. Wow Johnson got hit from behind to cause the injury but its ok when its the Jags and they get a first down.
